Jax's oddly grating laughter echoed throughout the castle. But he didn't stop there. He continued,
"Or maybe we can use him as bait. The lunatics in the livestream chat said that if I can learn more about the castle, my credits will increase much more than everyone else's after I leave this place."

The mocking and angry comments continued to flood the screen. At that moment, another sound suddenly rang out.
It was Nick. He pushed his chair back slightly.
Standing up, he looked at Jax and slowly said, "You'd better not lay a single finger on Silvanus."
He looked strange now, or rather, different. The energetic presence he always carried was gone. He simply stared at Jax and made that declaration.
