In the infinite skies, Kalede flew silently on his own side, his gaze filled with determination. Before joining the other Quantums, he made a detour to his domain. Once inside, he entered an isolated room he called the Hall of Solitude, then walked toward a portrait hanging on the wall. The image depicted a woman and a young girl, their faces glowing with a soft and comforting light. Yet Kalede felt nothing but pain as he looked at them.
He whispered in a trembling voice: "No matter how long it takes… I will bring you back. I swear Typhon will pay for what he has done."
Silent tears ran down his cheeks as he lowered his head. "Isabelle… Rey…" he murmured in despair. "I wish I could apologize… for everything I put you through. But the powers of Aboria and those of Sifira, the Goddess of Creation, are necessary for my plan, and then…"
His fist clenched, trembling with emotion. "Quitar… or rather, Absoria… you were the only one who truly understood me. Even though I betrayed you. Even though I plunged you into pain again and again… No matter where you reincarnated—human, elf, dragon… I manipulated you, using your own reincarnation to guide your soul back to its original body."
He paused, straightening slightly as his gaze hardened. "Even if I manipulated that power-hungry woman… even if I had to make that child pass as mine just to make you suffer, I do not regret it…"
After that, a bitter smile appeared on his lips. "When I absorb their energy to free the Progenitors… and once they are free, Typhon will die. Only then will I be able to free you, Isabelle… and you as well, Rey. Even if it makes me the most hated being in existence."
After this lonely speech, Kalede took a deep breath to suppress his sorrow. He turned on his heels and headed for the exit. He no longer had time to waste.
The Domain of the Quantums
Kalede took flight, crossing the endless skies until he reached the sacred domain of the Fourteen Quantums. As soon as he arrived, he landed on the ground and rushed toward the central circle, where the most powerful entities stood. At their head was Sifira, the Goddess of Creation. He quickly knelt before her, head lowered.
Sifira frowned. "Kalede, what are you doing here?" she demanded in an authoritative voice.
Raising his head slightly, Kalede replied with calculated coldness: "Oh, Great Mother Goddess. Velgia, the God of Space and Time, has betrayed Heaven, and he has allied himself with Absoria, the God of Void and Evil."
Sifira narrowed her eyes skeptically. "Do you have proof of this accusation?"
Kalede smiled inwardly, though his face remained serious. He materialized an object in his hands: a shimmering sphere emitting a flickering, ominous light. The sphere projected images—a sequence showing Velgia and Absoria speaking together in hushed, conspiratorial whispers. The fragments of their conversation were ambiguous, but enough to sow doubt.
Watching the scene, Sifira abruptly straightened. "Close that," she ordered sharply.
Kalede obeyed. Sifira then turned toward Kriede, the God of Light, fixing him with a piercing stare. "Have you found the heroine as I instructed?"
Kriede answered calmly: "Yes. I found her."
Sifira nodded. "Bring her to me immediately. And summon Velgia without delay. We must get to the bottom of this matter."
Meanwhile, Kalede carefully concealed his satisfaction. The plan was unfolding exactly as intended. He knew the images he had shown were not authentic, but rather creations born from the abyssal energy of the Progenitors. That alone was enough to spark conflict among the Quantums—and above all, to divert their attention.
In his mind, only one thought echoed: "No matter the cost… Typhon will fall, and the souls I cherish will be freed. Even if I must manipulate Heaven itself."
