Genevieve was silent for a moment. "Well, I think it depends on why you're having sex."
The room became quiet.
"If it's only about pleasure…" She shrugged gently. "Then pleasure can come from almost anywhere. But that's not to say it will always be great. Not every partner knows how to please you. Sometimes you end up chasing your own pleasure instead."
They all listened to her with rapt attention.
Her smile faded slightly. "When it's sex with just anybody, the pleasure lasts only for a moment. And after it disappears, what remains is emptiness."
Nobody interrupted.
Genevieve looked down for a second. "If I could go back in time and choose," she smiled. "I'd rather have met Stefan much earlier. I'd rather he is my one and only lover than have all the experiences I had before."
"Really?" Mari asked.
Genevieve laughed softly. "Yeah. I cried the first time Stefan and I made love."
Mari's eyes widened. "Was it that good?"
Everyone laughed.
