Hey everyone, just a brief update.
Unfortunately, I'm going to be taking a hiatus for a little while. Some unexpected things have come up in my personal life, and I need to put writing on hold for the time being.
My mom was recently hospitalized and was diagnosed with syringomyelia. (Seriously... whoever named that condition owes me an apology. I had to check the spelling more times than I'd like to admit.) It's been a stressful few days for my family, and right now my priority is making sure she's comfortable and helping out however I can while she recovers.
Because of that, I don't think I'll be able to focus on writing or updating consistently. As much as I love working on this story, family comes first, and I hope you all can understand that. I don't want to rush chapters or force myself to write when my mind is somewhere else.
The good news is that this isn't me dropping the story. It's simply a pause. Once my mom's condition improves and things settle down, I'll be back to writing again. I still have plenty of ideas I want to bring to life, and I fully intend to continue this fanfic.
Thank you all for your patience, your comments, your Power Stones, and your continued support. Reading your messages always brightens my day, and I truly appreciate everyone who's decided to stick around despite my sometimes chaotic update schedule.
Take care of yourselves, and if you're able to, spend some time with your family too. Life has a funny way of reminding us what matters most.
