Eryndor picked up the topmost book and opened it, only to discover that it wasn't a book at all but a journal, one whose pages had been filled from beginning to end with dense handwriting that immediately gave him a headache.
In the first place, he didn't even understand the handwriting. Just something about seeing all those letters and symbols and what not gave him a headache.
His eyes immediately narrowed when he realised that.
Just seeing the handwriting is giving me a headache? Is it the handwriting itself or the contents?
The author clearly hadn't expected anyone else to read it. There were no titles, no chapter divisions, and certainly no attempts to make the contents understandable to a stranger.
There was just endless scribbling with no clear division. But as he read further and further, he realised two things about the content in the book.
Either the language was extremely vast, with a huge amount of characters and symbols, or the author had used multiple languages.
