Chapter 133 - Chapter 133: War of the Gods IX

[3rd POV]

Morgan quickly found after she teleported, that the realm of the Aztec Pantheon was quite a lot more complicated than Morgan had been expecting. It was absolutely massive, like truly massive. Not only was it freaking huge, but it was also layered.

There were a total of 13 "Layers" of Heaven, with their heaven/home realm being known as Ilhuicatl also known as sky layers that exist above Earth, supposedly. Their pantheon's home realm was giant, complex, and very very old.

It was also completely different from any other Heavenly realm that Morgan has been to. Sure, Heaven in the Biblical faction had some complexity to it, but it wasn't that complex compared to Ilhuitcatl, and it sure as hell was not as large.

She wondered how it became so large, but realized that something about the pantheon was just functionally different from others. It was more...old, almost primordial in nature.

And when she finally broke through the barriers into their realm, she found quickly that there was an entity in the realm that rivaled Amaterasu in power, being right around the same level. So close in power that she herself wasn't sure where a battle between the two would go.

She knew who this was. But she also knew that something about them was...off. It felt like they were muted, that their power was suppressed. And sure, she could still feel their power perfectly fine thanks to her senses being far beyond what a normal being possessed. But it was still muted for others, and that meant that something was happening to them.

And Morgan had a feeling she knew exactly what it was, and who it was happening to.

The other Gods in the pantheon could not even feel her enter their realm, as she broke through layer after layer like it was nothing more than a paper thin roadblock. The barriers and defenses made to stop people from entering the layers without permission, meant absolutely nothing to her.

And the further she broke through the layers, the more she noticed what the God or Goddess was being put under. It was incredibly strong, and had hints of a number of forms of sealing. Not to mention a number of different runic languages, all of them combining to make it so that the seal was immensely powerful.

'Seems that Rizevim has stuck his grubby little hands into another pantheon' Morgan thought as she noticed some of his traits in the seals. It was very clear to her that he had made the seals, and that he had made sure they were strong enough to hold back whatever was being suppressed.

What she was a little annoyed with was the fact that there was also hints of the Aztec Gods influence in the seal, meaning that there was Gods in the Aztec Pantheon that decided on helping Rizevim seal the one that she was trying to get to.

Not a good thing, as it would be another Shinto Gods situation, at least it more than likely would be. On top of this, she had to make sure that the God that was being sealed was actually one that would work with her and her faction.

But if the God that is sealed is the one that she thinks it is, then she is confident that they would gladly work with her to cleanse their pantheon of Rizevim's influence, and join her against Trihexa.

With her breaking into the last layer of the Aztec Heaven, Morgan floated in the skies of the realm. Her senses spread far and wide to find the one that she needed to break out of their seal.

It didn't take very long to find them. And the moment that she did, she teleported over in a singular moment. The location was seemingly in some sort of temple, an ancient one that looked like it was well taken care of.

Gazing into the seals around the temple, Morgan hummed.

'Interesting. Seems Rizevim placed these seals quite a long time ago, meaning whoever is behind that seal has been there for a long long time. And from the looks of it, that "Long time" is centuries' Morgan thought, realizing that her guess on who was behind the seal was almost certainly correct.

She was confident that it was Quetzalcoatl. It all lined up right, and would explain why there is such a lack of information on the God. It's because they've been sealed and hidden away for so long that there simply wasn't a way of getting information on them in the first place.

Walking up to the central location of the seal, Morgan raised her hand, a glowing power rippling out of her, as it slammed against the seal. Morgan smiled as the seal shattered like it was made of paper thin glass.

With the seal shattered, Morgan could more clearly feel the power that rippled out of the temple. And she knew there and then that the one inside was stronger than Shiva, and rivaled Amaterasu in power. She was pretty confident that a battle between the two would end in both falling apart, and both dying.

So it would be rather stupid for it to get to that point.

Walking into the temple, Morgan instantly noticed that the place was absolutely seeping in power, divine power at that. It was powerful, and the divinity was incredibly pure. Some of the purest she had ever seen, and that was saying a lot considering she had met Amaterasu and Shiva. Not to mention her own divinity that was the purest in the world.

Morgan spread her power throughout the temple, finding the one she was looking for very fast. The figure inside was feminine, and was actively beginning to wake up. It was also surrounded by dozens of miniature seals, blocking them inside even more, and suppressing their power.

It was like a backup seal that was blocking it inside, to make sure that even if the seal on the outside of the temple broke, there would still be another seal inside that would block Quetzalcoatl from escaping the temple. But that seal was not a problem for Morgan either, and as she entered the room that was holding Quetzalcoatl, the seal shattered in an instant.

'...I had a feeling this would be the case' Morgan thought with a small smile, as she saw the God in question, who was laying flatly on some sort of bed. And the figure was indeed the one that was so very recognizable.

The Quetzalcoatl from Fate laid on that bed.

Staring at the unconscious form of Quetzalcoatl, Morgan wondered if there were any other Gods besides Quetzalcoatl, Aphrodite, and Amaterasu that were similar to their fate counterparts. If there was, she had not seen them just yet.

But if there indeed was, that would...be a problem, a big one. The Gods from Fate were FAR stronger than the ones in DxD, and the peak of the Fate Gods could make the Dragon Gods their bitch.

Even she wouldn't be able to defeat the Fate Gods if any of them had power similar to what they had in the Fate universe. She would get completely demolished by pretty much every God from that universe.

She knew for a fact that she was still well below the levels of power that that particular universe possessed. With beings like Gilgamesh, Merlin, Solomon, First Hassan, and all sorts of other servants that could kill her thanks to a shit ton of "hax".

Either way, Morgan moved and sat down, waiting for the woman to wake up. She was tempted to wake her up herself, but decided against it. As she was not certain the entirety of what the seals did, and she didn't want to negatively affect the woman should some of the seals mess with her power or body in some form.

That and she didn't want to freak the woman out, considering she had been asleep for centuries now, and likely didn't even know that she had been sealed and locked up for that long. It was only natural that she would not react in the best way, and would most likely attack Morgan upon seeing her.

Since she was...well, not supposed to be there.

And so, Morgan sat and waited for the Goddess to wake up. All the while she had only one thought on her mind.

'This'll be good'
