A pillar of purple light pierced straight up into the sky.
It was not too dazzling, but it stood out remarkably amid the bands of green and gold light filtering through the canopy of the World Tree.
The colossal branches, transparent as glass, were still interwoven across the sky above. When the pillar of light from the Resource Tower shot upward, countless crystalline leaves immediately reflected the faint purple light, making a vast stretch of space seem as though enveloped in a layer of mystical mist.
The energy ripples spread outward.
At first it was only a very faint wave.
But the farther it went, the clearer it became, like a stone dropping onto the smooth surface of a lake, sending out ring after ring of ripples that continuously spread wider.
Within a range of several dozen kilometers, many Lords simultaneously raised their heads.
They looked toward where that pillar of light had just appeared.
A few frowned.
A few immediately summoned their armies.
