In the streets of New York, the long-forgotten emergency alarms of the Aberrants blared throughout the city. Countless people stampeded out of the remaining Boroughs, intending to evacuate further inland after discovering that the Aberrants have reached the eastern coast.
Anxious cries and yelps echoed through the crowd of people as the military and the Jaegers could barely keep control of the situation. Amongst them was a curious reporter who couldn't help but questioned his news crew. "Did they say where it would make landfall?"
"According to some rumors, the Aberrant should be making its landing on the south." A camera operator replied, as the streets became congested with traffic from cars and people.
"Shouldn't New York be safe then?" The reporter tilted her head since an Aberrant could only affect a single city to their knowledge. It was akin to a disaster that would leave nothing more than rubble behind.
