"I DON'T think we had the chance to get properly introduced to each other," Cho Euntak said, bending his knees while talking to Kwon Miho to meet the child's line of sight without intimidating her. He was pretty tall, after all. "Hi, Miho-ya. My name is Cho Euntak. You can call me uncle."
"You're too young and too pretty to be an uncle, Oppa," Kwon Miho said solemnly. The child was neither shy nor nervous. She was just simply calm. "My name is Kwon Miho."
Hmm.
Cho Euntak didn't want to say that Kwon Miho was mature for her age because he believed children shouldn't grow up too fast.
But he couldn't help it.
I think most kids her age would have reacted more emotionally if they were in her place.
"Miho-ya, I'm sorry if you were offended by my reaction before," Cho Euntak said sincerely. "But please know that it wasn't your fault. It was on me. Can you forgive this oppa?"
"I'm not upset, Oppa," Kwon Miho said casually. "If I were you, I would have thrown a tantrum, too."
"Huh?"
