The ideas of Zen Master Jingshan were often unconventional, with remarks that were wildly imaginative, and he frequently contradicted the Abbot. Despite cultivating for over two hundred years, he remained a low-level miscellaneous tasks monk, one rank higher than a novice monk, with sweeping as his primary daily work. Most servant monks specialized in Body Refining, lacking even a Dao Foundation, while Jingshan, possessing a Dharma Image, not only faced mockery by Body Refiners but also bullying by the Dao Foundation Captain.
