Both Mother and daughter swam into the grand hall where the celebration was taking place, the mermaids bowed in greeting to both the Queen and Princess, while some others sent hidden glare to the little girl and the children hid behind their parent,
"Everyone!" Airen suddenly said, gaining the people's attention as they looked away from the birthday girl, "Today is princess Genevieve's birthday and we are all here to celebrate this special day with her, please you all should enjoy and help make this day a memorable one for our lovely princess," she said as she turned to look at Eve, who smiled,
"Happy birthday, Eve," she said with a smile,
"Thank you, Aunty Airen," Eve said sweetly and her mother smiled,
"Now let's make a toast to our Princess," they all raised their glasses of wine, "Happy birthday, Genevieve!"
"Happy birthday, Genevieve!!!" The people shouted and then there were claps as Genevieve cut her cake and Sabrina kissed her forehead,
"Happy birthday my love,"
"Thank you mama," the little girl smiled at her mother,
Airen swam to them, "Happy birthday once again my little angel," she said playfully and Eve grinned,
"Thank you once again, Aunty," Eve chuckled,
"This is for you," Airen brought out a doll and handed it to Eve, who immediately grabbed it as her eyes went wide like saucers,
"Thank you, Aunty!!!" She screamed happily, she was so happy about the doll, "It looks so beautiful," Eve said,
"Darling, won't you give Aunty a hug for the beautiful doll," Sabrina said and immediately Eve jumped on Airen and gave her a tight hug,
"Oh goodness," Airen laughed as she hugged Eve back, then the girl pulled away and then they heard the other kids giggling and playing around.
Eve stared at them with a sad expression and longing,
"Why don't you go show them your new doll, darling?" Sabrina said, and little Eve smiled,
"Really mama, will they want to see it?"
"Yes, it's such a pretty doll, they will want to play with you after they see how nice you are by wanting to share it with them," Sabrina told her daughter who grinned and happily swam to the other kids who had bullied her that day,
"Hello," Eve said softly and the kids who had been laughing turned to look at her before their eyes widen in fear,
"It's the demon!" They all screamed and people turned to look at the children, the kids were about to run off when Eve brought her new doll forward, which made her mother and Airen smile,
"Please, I just wanna share my doll with you all," Eve said again with an adorable smile which only freaked the kids even more,
"Stay away from us, you monster!" A boy said glaring at Eve who now had a sad expression on,
"I'm not a monster, why do you all always call me that, I only wanted to be your friend, why won't you all give me the chance to?" Eve spoke heart broken,
"Because you are a freak," Ila said with a grin, "Do you understand now? We wish you never existed, you witch-"
"Don't call me a witch!" Suddenly the kids felt a force that threw them away to hit the wall and wince in pain,
Everyone gasp and turned to look at Eve who now had an angry expression with her fangs bared, everyone was terrified of the little girl. The parents of those kids quickly rushed to get their children, and both Airen and Sabrina who had a worried and shocked look quickly swam to Eve side,
"You monster, do you want to kill our children now!" A mother said glaring at the Princess,
"You are such a ruin to us all in this kingdom," a man also said who looked very angry, as his son now bled on the head and was crying, "We are never safe around you! My apologies my Queen but your daughter is not good for our kids or us,"
"Yes!!" Suddenly people were shouting and murmuring,
"Listen everyone my daughter is no harm," Sabrina spoke which only earn her with more murmur, "She is just like your Queen, a kind hearted child, she will never harm you all,"
"Then why has she harmed our children!" A mother complained with a frown on her face, glaring at Eve, "Your highness, I apologize for my audacity but this child," she pointed at Eve who now had a sad look on her beautiful face, "Needs to be taken to the surface where she belong because she does not belong here,"
"No, my child is staying in the kingdom with me! No one will tell me what to do with my child," Sabrina spoke loud with a frown on her face, while Airen, Hannah and Cedric just stared at Eve with a sad expression too,
Both Hannah and Cedric have been working for the Queen in the palace and they know the little girl that she meant no harm but the people.....
Suddenly the murmur rose and soon the mer folks started leaving the palace when the birthday celebration wasn't even over yet, Eve only became more sad as she swam to her room unhappy. Sabrina was going to go after her when Airen spoke,
"Leave her be for now. She's sad," Airen said with worry and even Sabrina looked worried as she stared at the direction her child went,
"The people are not really happy, I must say, your highness," Cedric told coming forward with Hannah
