Xiang Yu picked up the phone.
"Number One." Xiang Yu said simply.
"What is it?" Number One sounded extremely tired.
Their relationship was in a very strange place now. Back when they were in China, Number One had sent people to arrest Xiang Yu, but Xiang Yu escaped.
"I need your help." Xiang Yu said sincerely.
Number One froze for a moment. Ever since he'd known Xiang Yu, this was the first time Xiang Yu had so bluntly asked for support.
"What can I do for you?" Number One asked.
"I'm short on weapons." Xiang Yu said straightforwardly.
"You want me to provide you with weapons?" Number One asked in some surprise. "Impossible. All weapons in the country are numbered, and they all carry our insignia."
Number One's meaning was obvious. Xiang Yu and his people were a foreign force, with nothing to do with China. Number One had to clearly cut any connection with them.
