The phone signal was a bit weak, so Su Lan put it back in her pocket. As she turned around, she saw Tong Ran propping herself up from the recliner.
Her heart sank, and she hurried over, "Xiao Ran, you're awake."
Tong Ran rubbed her eyes and her first question was, "Where is Mo Nanjue?"
"Oh, he went into the sea," Su Lan changed the subject, handing her a glass of juice, "Are you hungry? There's a kitchen on this cruise ship, I'll go make you something."
"Went into the sea?" Tong Ran frowned, "That's impossible. How could he not wake me up and go into the sea by himself? He said he'd call me," she stood up barefoot, her little face anxious, "Mo Nanjue? Mo Nanjue—"
She shouted hoarsely. Su Lan grabbed her arm, "Xiao Ran, you're still pregnant, how can you run like this?"
"Mom!" Tong Ran seemed to realize something. She shook off her hand, paced back and forth on the huge cruise ship, but couldn't see a trace of the man.
