So I ran out of time writing the next chapter. I'll update it after I finish writing it, but in the meantime, feel free to ask any questions you have here. Also feel free to point out things I missed/forgot about because I DEFINITELY have at this point...
But in the meanwhile, here's Rob!
Rob: For an author, you truly are lacking in skill compared to your own creation.
Oi, quit it you. It's not my fault that Alex is a better writer than me. That guy can sit down and crank out an entire story by full immersion. I've been having to jump back and forth.
Rob: It sounds like an issue with your level of mastery rather than your life conditions to me.
...
Anyway, I'll switch over to him now. Take care of the readers for me, Rob.

[Rob POV]
My. It's quite interesting to see. Although I knew that 'observers' existed, this is the first time to interact with them.
Well, I suppose this is not quite an 'interaction.' It's closer to sending a bottle out to sea, yes? After all, I can't see or read your responses at this moment.
Hm...
I suppose I should vent my frustrations a bit then.
You see, the whole purpose of this endeavor was to reward Alex... or rather, the author who became Alex.
I was grateful to always have his guidance on my journey. And though our journey was riddled with tragedy and losses, the fact that it finished so brightly is a testament to both his fortitude and perseverence.
...I cannot say the same for Mister 'Vain' as he CLEARLY lacks such traits. To not only set a story aside for months up to a year on end, but to return without properly reviewing its foundation... Tsk.
...Regardless.
Alex existed in my world, though not as he does now. To my knowledge, he was simply a peer we had in the first year of classes who vanished partway through.
I later learned that he made a bargain with an Observer to fulfill a wish to save his sister.
That Observer, however, was unable to fulfill the wish, and so I took over the contract.
Conveniently, it allowed me to bring the invisible hand that guided me into my world... or at least a version of it.
That man is one who despises tragedy. It is a visceral, bone-deep rejection. I know not exactly what caused such a response, but I know that it must have pained him dearly to write the fates of the ones that I had lost along the way, such as Princess Evelyn.
And so I brought him here.
He has done quite well, actually. And I've had quite some fun aiding him as 'Rob.'
...Though I will not be able to do much going forward.
Since the Observers... Ah, not you. But the ones native to our world. Since they became aware of Alex's recent actions, interference is near impossible. From this point on, all I will be able to do is supply him with the basic system functions that he has been using. Directing the flow of fate however, such as the [Main Quests] will no longer be possible...
Still, I am certain he will do well.
...As long as a certain OTHER author recalls Alex's true character and does not give him an idiot ball.
Hm.
That is all from me.
Until then.
May your life be blessed with happiness.
