Hokage Building.
The door creaked open, and Uchiha Yun stepped into the office, halting halfway across the polished floor. His sharp eyes moved from Kakashi—standing with his usual slouch—to the man beside him in a skin-tight green jumpsuit who radiated enthusiasm like a wildfire.
"I thought I was here for my follow-up arrangements," Yun said cautiously, "but judging by this atmosphere, it looks like there's a major mission?"
Behind the desk, Namikaze Minato smiled—calm, golden-haired, the image of serenity before a storm. "Indeed. There's a very important mission I need to entrust to you all. Because of the circumstances, the team I send must be strong enough."
"Don't worry, Hokage-sama!" the man in green shouted, pounding his chest like a drum. "No matter how difficult the mission, I will complete it perfectly! Because I am Konoha's proud Blue Beast, Might Guy!"
*Sparkle!*
He spun twice, struck a pose, and flashed a thumbs-up so radiant that even the sunlight filtering through the Hokage's window dimmed in shame.
Yun blinked, then looked at him again just to be sure this was real. Goosebumps prickled down his arms.
'In anime form this guy was fine.' he thought, deadpan. 'But in person… this is a high-level genjutsu of embarrassment.'
Kakashi exchanged a knowing glance with Yun over his mask and shrugged as if to say, You get used to it.
Minato coughed lightly into his fist and wiped a trace of sweat from his forehead. Composure restored, he straightened. "Regarding the Kumogakure of the Land of Lightning," he began, "they've sent a signal to Konoha proposing an alliance. Because of this, I need you three to deliver the signed treaty on behalf of Konoha to the Fourth Raikage himself."
He placed a hand over a sealed scroll on the desk. "After you return, Kumogakure will send their envoy to Konoha to finalize the accord. This mission concerns peace. You must not take it lightly."
He looked at each of them in turn. "The mission will be handled by the three of you—with Kakashi as team leader. Bring peace back to Konoha. I'm counting on you."
As Minato finished, Kakashi accepted the scroll with a quiet nod. Then, scratching his head, he said dryly, "Do I really need to go with Yun? And with Guy added, isn't this lineup… overkill?"
Minato chuckled softly, shaking his head. "This isn't Konoha's first alliance with Kumogakure. Back when the Second Hokage still lived, he personally led the delegation there." His voice grew somber. "But on the way home, the Second Hokage was ambushed by Kumogakure's Kinkaku and Ginkaku squad. To let his team escape, he sacrificed himself."
Kakashi's eye narrowed. "So you mean this alliance might not be reliable?"
Minato's expression turned thoughtful as he gazed out the window toward the distant village skyline. "Between ninja villages—or even nations—no alliance is ever truly reliable. But a treaty, however fragile, is still a symbol of credibility. Tear up enough of them, and a village isolates itself. And isolation…" His eyes hardened. "Isolation means being divided and devoured."
He turned back, smiling faintly. "Still, I want peace to continue. That's why I'm entrusting this mission to you."
"Absolutely no problem!! Everything is on me—on the burning flames of my youth!"
*Boom!*
Guy's declaration echoed through the corridors of the Hokage Building, startling at least two passing secretaries.
Minato chuckled helplessly. "Then I'll leave it to you three."

Outside the Hokage Building.
Kakashi adjusted his forehead protector as they stepped into the evening breeze. "Alright. Disperse and prepare your ninja tools and essentials. We meet at the main gate in one hour. Dismiss."
*Swish!*
In a blur of motion, they vanished from sight.

Uchiha Compound.
Yun packed methodically—kunai, paper bombs, ration pills, sealing scrolls. The sound of clinking steel filled the quiet of his home.
'An alliance with Kumogakure…'
By his estimate, it would take about two months round trip, including diplomatic delays. That meant by the time Kumogakure's envoy reached Konoha, winter would have begun.
'The Uchiha's standing with the Fourth Hokage is still too weak.' he thought as he checked the last pouch. 'But if we connect with other ninja clans—the Hyuga, the Yamanaka, the Aburame—maybe that's our true foothold.'
After explaining his absence to his mother, Yun closed the door behind him and stepped into the crisp night air.

Konoha's Main Gate.
*Swish!*
Yun landed lightly beside Kakashi, who stood leaning against the wall, hands in pockets.
"Guy's not here yet?" Yun asked.
Kakashi shook his head. "Normally I'd be the last one for a standard mission. But for something this serious…" His visible eye crinkled in amusement. "Guy will make sure to arrive even later than me."
He checked his watch. "Still half an hour left. He'll show up in ten minutes, most likely with an earthquake."
Then he turned slightly toward Yun. "Half a year ago, sensei mentioned something about a mission of yours. You fought Kumogakure's Eight-Tails Jinchūriki—Killer Bee, right?"
Yun nodded. "Briefly. We just crossed paths. Under current peace conditions, no shinobi from any village would risk starting a war. It was more… a test."
He paused, recalling. "That guy was in the middle of some kind of rap contest with a couple of kids. They were handing out flyers everywhere—almost exposed my team. It was chaos."
Kakashi's brow furrowed slightly. "I've heard he's a Perfect Jinchūriki. What's your impression?"
Yun tapped his temple. "Under these eyes, I could tell—his synchronization with the Eight-Tails is flawless. When caught in genjutsu, the beast instantly disrupts his chakra flow to break the illusion. Their coordination's on another level."
He added, "He's also a master of the Eight-Sword Style. His reflexes and rhythm are impeccable. I later learned that his partnership with the Fourth Raikage is unmatched."
Kakashi sighed. "Let's hope this mission stays peaceful. Otherwise…" He trailed off, rubbing his forehead. "Things could get messy."
Yun chuckled. "Relax. We're just delivering a treaty, not invading a fortress."
"Exactly why I said—if it goes smoothly."
Kakashi pulled out a specialized kunai, its hilt engraved with the words 'Blade of Ninja Love'. The unique seal etched into the metal glowed faintly.
"The Flying Thunder God's mark," Yun noted.
"Yeah." Kakashi gave a crooked smile. "Sensei insisted I bring it. He even had me summon Pakkun and Shiba before we left. Clearly, he doesn't trust Kumogakure's intentions entirely."
Yun adjusted his pack. "If the Fourth Hokage's prepared this thoroughly, we don't have to worry. They wouldn't dare try anything inside their own village."
He had barely finished speaking when a blur of green exploded from the direction of Konoha's inner gate.
A cloud of dust blasted across the road, making Izumo and Kotetsu cough violently. They waved their arms, glaring at the source of the chaos.
"Ah—burn, youth! Boil, youth!"
*Boom!*
The dust settled as Might Guy skidded to a stop in front of them, a miniature sandstorm whirling at his feet. His grin gleamed brighter than the torchlight. "I've kept you waiting! Now, let us set off toward the brilliance of youth!"
Yun stared. "…I think at least our ears won't have any peace during the journey."
Kakashi scratched his head and muttered with a reluctant smile, "Yun, Guy's actually very reliable, you know."
As Guy marched forward, cloak fluttering dramatically, Yun's gaze drifted for a moment—catching, in his mind's eye, a flash of crimson armor from another lifetime.
'He probably hasn't reached the Eighth Gate yet,' Yun mused. 'But if he did… even the Fourth Raikage or the Eight-Tails wouldn't survive it.'
His eyes narrowed, a small smirk tugging at his lips. 'Still, with the ability I just acquired… I doubt we'll even need that kind of power this time.'
