I wandered around the garden aimlessly.
Well, I used to stay up past midnight browsing adult sites back in my old life, so a "go to bed when it gets dark" lifestyle just didn't suit me.
Even if I lay down, I couldn't fall asleep and would just waste time.
Looking up, the stars and the moon felt incredibly close.
Maybe because there were no lights around.
Or maybe because the air was so clean.
It felt like I could reach out and touch them.
Ahhh…
It felt like a familiar starry sky.
But I didn't recognize any of the constellations.
I lightly jumped and landed on the roof of the cathedral.
It was a bit chilly, but I lay down and stared at the sky.
I wasn't particularly knowledgeable about constellations to begin with, and since this was another world, there was no way the same stars would be visible.
Still… why did it feel this way?
Whether it was déjà vu or nostalgia, it reminded me of the night sky I used to look up at as a child.
