While Elijah was deep in meditation, forging his soul weapon, Zemyna and Sophia were still traveling through dimensions until their journey was halted by a certain being.
Sophia sensed her first and sighed. "I had hoped to avoid her."
Zemyna raised an eyebrow. "Avoid who?"
Then another goddess appeared before them and used her black and purple wings to hover in place.
"Well, well, well. Look at what we have here. A goddess looking to ascend? How long has it been Sophia? Too long for my taste. I was getting lonely."
Sophia responded kindly, but was clearly trying to hurry things along. "It has indeed been quite a while since we last spoke, Lilith. You should visit my dimension sometime. But Zemyna's trial cannot wait. We must continue on."
Zemyna recognized the name, but wasn't sure where she'd heard it. So she studied the new goddess before her for a moment before subtly correcting her. "My ascension is already done. I will not fail my beloved. Nor my family or the One who sent me."
The goddess looked at Zemyna and smiled. "I like you." Her eyes then flashed with something mischievous as she sensed something familiar in Zemyna's soul.
"Lilith don't!" Sophia exclaimed. But it was too late.
Lilith appeared right in front of Zemyna and wrapped her wings around her before Zemyna could process what had happened.
"Oooohhhhh.... you didn't tell me she was in love, dear Sophia."
Lilith peered into Zemyna's eyes. "You know there was a time... when all men... belonged to me."
Zemyna didn't like where this was going and broke free from Lilith's grasp. She then remembered who Lilith was. Her father, Zariah, had told her a bedtime story of the goddess who was once human. The first human the Creator made. Many on Earth now think that man was made first, but this is false teaching. It was woman. It was Lilith. She was made perfectly. Richly melanated skin to make the sun's energy her sustenance, a face that would enchant any who gazed upon it, black hair that flowed down her back with curls that resembled waves in a river, green eyes full of the love of the Creator, and a body fit to help populate the Earth. And when the Creator made man, the Adamu, she helped acclimate them to their surroundings, and of course, love blossomed. But men grew arrogant in the power she helped them acquire. They demanded she serve them and began to see her as beneath them. Liltih refused to submit when she was first, and more powerful than the Adamu and her children she begat with them.
Sensing that things were irreconcilable, the Creator gave her an out. Take the Ascension trial, become a true goddess, and prove herelf once and for all. And Lilith did just that. She became the first mortal to become a goddess. But instead of returning to Earth, Lilith chose to stay in the higher dimensions. She saw mortal men as a lost cause. Not worth her time. Let alone her love. Now, she stands before Zemyna, feeling the powerful aura of love emanating from her soul, and she can't resist. After all, how could the mortal men who had betrayed her, produce a son who could capture the heart of the goddess before her? One who not only didn't come from Earth as she had, but was born an Archon. It should be impossible...
Lilith then simply shrugged her wings in amusement at Zemyna's desire to keep her distance. "Very well. If you won't play with me... perhaps your Elijah will."
Zemyna then exploded in righteous fury. "You temptress!" The very atmosphere began to crack under the pressure of her immense strength.
"Hahahaha!!! I like her even more now, Sophia!" Lilith laughed
Sophia sighed inwardly as all this unraveled. She knew the instant she sensed Lilith's presence that this would happen. After all, Lilith may have given up on men, but being a help meet for them is part of the divine mandate the Creator put in her essence. And now, here stands a goddess who is in the same place she once was, but different.
Sophia then chose to step in. She mended the dimension with a wave of her hands and sealed the cracks Zemyna had made before saying, "Enough, Zemyna! You trust Elijah don't you?! Or is your love for him weaker than I thought?!"
With that Zemyna calmed herself down and bowed to Sophia. "I truly apologize for how unseemly I have acted."
Sophia raised Zemyna up. "Do not concern yourself with that. And... as much as you may not like it... Lilith can help your Elijah."
Zemyna clenched her fist as she kept her fury in check. "How?"
Sophia then elaborated. "Lilith is the first woman. Her charm is second to none. Not only that, but the Creator's Mandate to... help men become the best versions of themselves is still part of her. Remember, nothing happens by accident. Her being here now is destiny. And if she tries Elijah, and he doesn't give in, he will be considerably stronger for it."
Zemyna hated this idea, but she knew Sophia was right. Elijah had to choose her above all else. Which, of course, he had always done. But this was easy for him before. What human woman could compare to Zemyna? Not even other goddesses in the Nine Heavens could do that. So, it had to be Lilith. It could ONLY be Lilith, who could play this role in his evolution.
"Fine." Zemyna managed to agree.
Lilith clapped her hands and her face was overcome with joy. "Excellent!" She then closed her eyes and honed in the frequency of Elijah that was attached to Zemyna. This was easy for her since all men of Earth are technically her offspring and she had traveled through all the dimensions of Creation already.
Once Lilith opened her eyes, she had her heading. "It's been a long time since I've had any... quality time with a man. Don't worry Zemyna. I'll take real good care of him for you." And with that, she was off.
Zemyna was so angry she could breathe fire, but she calmed herself once again. Zemyna reminded herself that this was all for Elijah's progress and that what they had was stronger than a biological instinct implanted in him.
Sophia then placed a comforting hand Zemyna's shoulder. "You did well to allow this. And I'll tell you something. You should pray she gains an affinity for your Elijah."
Zemyna looked at Sophia. "Why would I want such a thing?"
Sophia giggled and said, "Because my son, Yaldabaoth, your enemy, is kind of an ex of hers. And she would make a great ally in the battle to come."
Zemyna sighed. "I would need the Creator with me at all times to fight alongside her."
Sophia smiled. "You have no idea."
