Those participating in the Global Young Wizards Tournament were already the elites selected by their respective schools.
Although talented students under the modern magical system might not necessarily adapt well to the study of magical flow, this was still an opportunity to spread magical flow once more throughout the wizarding world.
Once more wizards mastered magical flow, it was only natural that, in the future, a few among them would eventually push open the gates to Domains. For the magical world, that was undoubtedly a good thing.
"So I hope you can participate in the competition as the tournament's final insurance," Rowena said. "You understand how special the circumstances surrounding this tournament are. It's impossible for me to account for every single possibility."
At this point, Rhys had already decided to involve himself in the tournament.
However, he was still waiting for his two old friends to name their price.
Being willing to participate was one matter. Receiving compensation was an entirely separate matter.
The two absolutely could not be mixed together.
For a moment, Helga's office fell into complete silence.
Rowena and Helga were waiting for Salazar's response, while Rhys was waiting for them to name their price.
"How about this? I'll provide you with one pound of unicorn dairy products every month during this school year," Helga said after a moment, deciding to take the lead herself. "And in addition, I'll also provide you with a monthly portion of the magical foods I've recently developed."
Rhys felt that these terms were actually quite good.
The magical foods Helga created were all excellent items. Even if he could not eat them himself, he could still give them to his students, and they were highly beneficial to the body. Besides, as long as one did not seriously investigate the origins of the ingredients, Helga's cooking was always delicious.
In Rhys's mind, Helga had already passed.
But the main event was Rowena.
He decided to give Rowena a little shock from the perspective of a supervisor.
"The spell you used tonight… that was time magic, wasn't it?"
Instead of immediately negotiating with Helga, Rhys directed his attention toward the silent Rowena.
Rowena could have argued her way out of it, but she disdained doing such things. When it came to daring to act and daring to admit responsibility, she could practically be considered a role model for all Hogwarts staff and students.
"Yes, it was indeed time magic. I disturbed the timeline surrounding your little trick, allowing sounds from the future to appear in the present."
Rhys's expression immediately became serious.
"Rowena, you should remember the agreement we made back then, shouldn't you? You should not continue this line of research. It's too dangerous. This is forbidden magic."
Rhys then turned toward Helga.
"And what do you think, Helga? I myself abandoned the development of several spells for the exact same reason."
Helga lowered her gaze and admitted that Rowena truly had done something wrong.
"I did not restart research into the field of time," Rowena replied. "I merely utilized results from research that already existed."
"That's exactly how boundaries are gradually broken step by step."
Rowena's explanation failed to convince Rhys at all.
"I believe that from now on, any research you conduct must be reported to both Helga and me beforehand. You may only proceed after obtaining our approval," Rhys stated his condition.
The research Rowena conducted was simply far too dangerous. It had to be jointly monitored by the two of them.
A trace of brightness flashed through Helga's eyes. She agreed with Salazar's proposal. If they could use this opportunity to strengthen their supervision over Rowena, that would truly be wonderful.
After thinking seriously for quite some time, Rowena ultimately accepted Rhys's proposal and agreed to report her research activities to her two old friends.
"What a pity…" Rowena shook her head regretfully. "Time, space, prophecy, and death… such mysterious domains, yet we are forbidden from touching them."
Just from hearing her words, Rhys knew that Rowena still had not truly given up. Unfortunately, the fields she researched were simply too profound and dangerous.
Any one of those domains, taken separately, was enough to kill wizards at their level if they were careless. Yet Rowena wanted to explore every single one of them.
She truly had a talent for ending the world just so she could research.
Still, those domains undeniably possessed their own allure. Much like the black hole theories proposed by Muggles, they were extraordinarily dangerous, yet irresistibly attracted people toward them.
"It's getting late. I'll head back and rest first. Rowena, I hope you keep your promise."
Rhys stood up from his seat and left Helga's office first.
Watching Salazar's departing figure, Rowena could not help sighing softly.
If only she had supported Salazar in continuing his research back then. If she had, he would have had no grounds to stop her now.
"I'm heading back as well. Dumbledore cleared out an office for me, and I still need to renovate it a bit," Rowena said, feeling that it was also time for her to return and rest.
"Mind if I come take a look?" Helga was rather curious about what Rowena's office looked like.
"Of course not." Rowena had no objections at all and directly brought her old friend to her office.
The moment the door opened, the first thing that entered Helga's sight was a strangely shaped large platform.
It was roughly five meters long and three meters wide. Upon it sat a model of a manor, surrounded by miniature mountains and lakes.
Even more astonishingly, several clouds floated above the platform. Above the clouds hung a yellow-orange sphere.
Helga recognized it immediately.
It was the moon.
Beneath the platform was another light source illuminating the entire office.
When Helga bent down for a closer look, she found that it was indeed a massive blazing fireball.
"As expected of you. You even simulated the sun and moon. So where do you usually sleep?" Helga asked curiously. She had not seen anything resembling a bed or sleeping quarters in the office.
Rowena said nothing and merely pointed toward the platform.
Following the direction of Rowena's finger, Helga looked over and instantly widened her eyes.
There was actually such a method?!
Why had she never thought of it herself?
Early the next morning, the front page headline of the Daily Prophet was completely occupied by Dumbledore's announcement of the Global Young Wizards Tournament.
The Ministry of Magic had obviously leaked the information to the Daily Prophet in advance. The paper's report on the tournament rules was extremely detailed and contained virtually no errors or omissions.
As a wizarding newspaper rooted in Britain, the Daily Prophet's stance was naturally biased toward Hogwarts. In the article, they even directly claimed that the only real suspense in the tournament was which school would manage to claim second place.
At the same time, magical newspapers from other countries also placed news of the Global Young Wizards Tournament on their front pages.
In an instant, the entire wizarding world learned of the event.
Aside from the eight great magical schools that had already begun making preparations, many lesser-known schools, wizarding families, and magical organizations also sprang into action…
For a time, enormous numbers of wizards flooded into Britain, much like during the finals of the Quidditch World Cup.
Within a certain unknown manor, Polaris also picked up the freshly delivered newspaper, and his eyebrows immediately rose.
"Magical organizations… In that case, wouldn't the Secret Society count as a magical organization as well?"
His voice echoed throughout the empty room.
"It's about time we held another gathering. I wonder whether Hogwarts will welcome country bumpkins like us."
The Secret Society had also begun moving into action.
