"Who's that guy? Is he your new supposed roommate?" Arvyan asked, to which I just nodded to confirm his claims. "Let me introduce you to Kael, my new roommate. He is a very enthusiastic guy." I said, introducing him to my friends at the dinner table. "Hey, Kael, meet my friends (from the left in front of him), that's Toshiro and Arvyan." Arvyan greeted him with a bright smile and great enthusiasm, as if he had just found his equivalent. Toshiro just nodded politely, which is his way of greeting him, as he is shy, as always, while slurping on his noodles. I continued introducing him, sitting beside Tairo, "That is Sanyara and Roselyn." They, too, greeted him in their own way.
On hearing the name of Roselyn Kael's ear perked up. He asked, looking at Roselyn, "You are seriously the Roselyn?" in a very excited tone. To which she just nodded, and he was very happy to make the acquaintance of her. Looking at how people behaved around Roselyn, I made a mental note to pay attention in class. "Did you guys meet Tairo by any chance? He is nowhere to be found by me," I asked with a sigh. "Well, I met him in the corridor, and he told me that he was very tired and he went towards his room for a rest," Toshiro said. I was a little relieved that he was not out of place or feeling lonely; well, he was not that kind of guy to begin with. But recently, his change in attitude after that incident is a little concerning, even after ignoring it for a long time. "Well, guys, I will see you tomorrow morning at the ground, till then I will excuse myself. I am also feeling a little tired." I said and left the spot for my room.
I sat at the edge of my bed, looking outside through the window. "You up, Vaelith? I can feel that you are now more conscious inside me." I was pulled into a vivid, enchanting world, one side lush with a gorgeous forest under a brilliant blue sky, a scene so striking it would surely be unforgettable; the other side remained completely unseen. It was strange as it was not visible to me, but I was able to feel it, a huge door that was blocking my view. "Are you able to listen to me?" a calm voice behind me asked me. I looked behind only to see a boy who looked like me in every sense. When I say in every sense, I mean it like in height, in looks, and everything. It was as if a duplicate of me was standing in front of me, facing me. "Who are you? Where am I?" I asked the boy who looked the same as me standing in front of me now. "It is I, Vaelith. Have you forgotten me that quickly?" The boy smiled at me while answering my question. I was taken aback seeing him and asked him, "This is not your true form, if I remember correctly. How come you are in this form, Vaelith?"
"I found this form to be suitable for now for communicating with you. I have recovered a little, but it is enough to provide you with my assistance. How are your days going?" He asked. I replied, "Even residing within my body, you are not able to sense what is going on around me? That's strange. But, well, it's going well, and I have made some friends now." Vaelith was suppressing his anger as he didn't like my comment on how he is not good with his surroundings. He coughed twice to clear his throat, and with a smile that screamed he was suppressing his anger, he said, "That's good to hear. At least for once, you are not a loner. Happy to see your progress." I replied with hmph. "I am not a loner."
"Well, leave these conversations aside. We need to talk about the situation you are in. And we need to discuss how we can improve it." Vaelith said. To which I replied, "What do you mean by that?" He calmly said while creating small blue particles from his hands, "It's time to train you. We need to get you to your top health and power in a very short time." "Really? Can I now train? That's a good thing to hear." I was very happy to know that I can now train. A sudden movement from him, and his index finger was now placed on my forehead, and he said, "Looks like you have been here for much longer than expected. It will affect you. I will see you next time after I fix something. Till then adieu." With this sudden movement, I jolted up to reality to find myself lying on the bed, and it was 4 in the morning. I was drenched with sweat all over my body. I looked around myself to find Kael sleeping soundly on his bed and a small note beside my pillow, which read "You need to sleep on the bed, dude. It was very hard for me to put you back to your bed while you were snoring - Kael(Your Benefactor)." I understood that in that brief exchange between Vaelith and me, my body was sleeping on the surface while I was inside that beautiful place. I will have to take care of this issue then. I left my bed to take a stroll outside in this cool, blowing breeze. "You are up earlier than usual, maybe you slept a little too early, I guess." I looked back to see Toshiro standing behind me in his nightwear, walking and enjoying the same feeling I was experiencing. "Sorry for the trouble last night. I heard you all had quite a hassle dealing with me." I said, to which he replied, "You should really take care of yourself. Kael was a scaredy cat last night. When he entered the room, he found you unconscious, sleeping on the floor, and he screamed so loud that we had to come and check on him. So yeah, you need to apologise to Kael, he did most of the work." He said with a tired sigh, sitting beside me on the bench. I hung my head awkwardly and asked him, "So why are you up this early? Are you one of the early birds?" to which he only replied with a tired voice, "I love my sleep very much, but Arvyan was snoring too loudly that it was difficult for me to sleep, so I was roaming outside and met you." I just sighed and said "that's so him" and looked forward at the sunrise and then at my wrist watch that displayed the time 5:08 am. I sat up and said to him, "I will meet you at 6 am then. See ya there."
