Elemental Nations / Land of Grass / Kusagakure (Dazai Clan): May 19th, 506.
It was a beautiful night for the world. The birds were chirping their songs as mankind went about their daily routines with smiles on their faces at beauty of the city, but also sad looks on their faces at the horror of it whether it be financially, emotionally or physically, yet if you were to look closely at a flourishing village. To be more specific, Inside of a large luxerious estate. You can see 6 berh important figures at a long meeting table.
The atmosphere heavy.
(Gen'ichirō Dazai's POV)
"Chief. This is a very dire situation for the grass village, we must make a decision at once." Said a very short, mature and very well maintained woman with a serious look on her stern face.
The meeting room was completely silent. All eyes turning too a handsome mature looking man at the head of long table, dressed in a luxurious black kusagakure robe with dark green gold trimming and the spiral symbol of the land of grass stitched on the chest and lower part of his clothing. He had slicked back jet black hair with small hints of grey, dark brown colored eyese, a diamond shaped full neatly groomed bearded face with deep, His 6'0 body was tall, broad and sturdy beneath his layered robes, not overly muscular but still giving off the feeling of a old shinobi who could still kill someone with his bare hands if he truly needed to. A thick black sash was wrapped around his waist with a circular kusagakure emblem in the middle of it, while long tassels hung from his chest and moved lightly whenever he breathed.
"I am well aware of our current circumstances elder miyo." Said gen'ichirō calmly with both of his hands interlocked atop of the very long table as he looked at a very short 4'0 beautiful old woman with high sitting pinned white hair, pale skin tone. Heart shaped, powered heavy makeup face, and a hourglass figure dressed in a luxurious kimono with high platform one toothed getas.
The meeting room was silent.
"This is indeed a very dire situation gen'ichirō. You must either choose a side in this war or sink into the swamps I built this village from. Our situation is not looking so good, kusagakure is a small village trapped between bigger powers. We are not strong enough to act like konoha, Iwa, suna, or kumo, my dazai clan survived by making ugly political choices." Said a very old looking man with a very wrinkly diamond shaped bearded face, long white sister loc white hair with gold ornaments on it, gold colored eyes, and a ripped muscular 6'1 body in a white kimono with two toothed gets and a wooden cane in his right hand.
Gen'ichirō sighed and and said calmly "It is not that simple of a decision to make grandfather."
"No. It is a very simple decision to make chief. I completely agree with head elder masatake." Said miyo calm, yet Immediately with her eyes squinting subtly.
The meeting room went silent for a moment.
Gen'ichirō rubbed his bearded chin and took a glance at a young refined looking man with a shining bald head and asked calmly "What is the Input of the daimyo, ambassador tadatsugu hinohara."
"The daimyo has decided to remain neutral in this war of shinobi. He dose not gain anything by interfering in the war of the savages as he so kindly puts it." Said tadatsugu calmly while glancing back at him. It being an average man with a square shaped face. Light grey colored eyes, a shiny bald head and 5'11 body with a skinny slender frame, dressed in a expensive brown and black colored robe attire.
The meeting room was absolutely silent.
A beautiful tall women with long curly black hair, ice blue eyes, a diamond shaped face, and 6'0 in height with a voluptuous pear shaped body with a pale skin tone dressed in a shinobi attire, sighed with a click of her teeth and asked with cold eyes "What do you intend to do father."
"It seems we will have to side with Iwagakure, under the guise that we are on official trading business. We offer food supplies in exchange for military supplies." Said gen'ichirō with, his tone dead serious.
The meeting room was absolutely silent.
Heavy.
*BAM*
The beautiful woman slammed her right fist on the table hardly and said with a very cold, Infused chakra glare "Did you all forget that my husband is a war hostage from the shinobi war. What happened to we will save him."
"We will save him, he's just not our current priority. One man's life is not worth the entirety of this village, you need to learn to expand your own view past your personal feelings if your to stay alive, kiri'teyagaiya." Said miyo calmly as she stared kiri straight into her own eyes.
The meeting room was heavy.
Kiri grinded her teeth together with eyes full of rage and said "You old bitch. I will kill you."
"Getting mad at me is not going to help you at all." Said miyo calmly with a unbothered look on her face as he picked up a small cup full of tea and took a sip from it.
Masatake adjusted his throat and glanced at gen'ichirō and said with eyes full of blood as she stoked his beard and said "I have a better plan for the guise."
The meeting room went silent. All eyes went to masatake.
"You have my ear." Said gen'ichirō calmly as he interlocked his hands back atop the long table.
Masatake was silent for a moment and said with cold eyes and a gruff tone "We will send the fresh talent to the front lines and experienced ones too guard the food supply and transport the military supply. That is the way to preserve the interests of both sides and without furthering any more conflict than necessary.
The meeting room was silent. More so than it needed to be.
"Hahaha…the world has lost its fucking mind, now children have to experience what we had to go through." Said kiri with a crying laugh as she wiped a tear from her left eyes.
Gen'ichirō glanced down at both of his hands and said "Dose anyone object to this."
"I have no objections, this is the best course of action if you consider the pros outweigh the cons and we are usings experienced warriors to protect our the interests of our respective villages." Said tadatsugu calmly with closed eyes.
*Dak*
Miyo sat the tea cup down and nodded while saying "Tadatsugu is correct. We can't afford to waste the experienced over the fresh ones. Especially when the fresh ones could be used on the fromt lines to hone their ability."
"Then it is agreed." Said gen'ichirō calmly as he glanced at kiri who clenched her fists and nodded with her head down.
Gen'ichirō sighed while thinking "The choices I have to make as the village chief"
Suddenly a loud commotion sounded outside the room.
The meeting room went completely silent.
All eyes turned toward the huge double doors.
Gen'ichirō's eyes narrowed subtly as one of the shinobi guards standing near the doors placed his right hand on the hilt of his blade and said coldly "State your business."
"LET ME GO YOU DAMN BASTARD, THIS IS IMPORTANT." Said a familiar angry voice from behind the doors.
The meeting room was silent for a long moment.
*BOOM*
The door was suddenly opened and kaito came stumbling into the meeting room with his hair messy, his clothes slightly disheveled and his face full of sweat as a shinobi guard behind him was holding the back of his clothes and trying to drag him out of the room.
"Forgive the interruption chief, this man forced his way into the estate and started screaming about young master kisho." Said the shinobi guard with a serious look on his face.
Kaito Immediately pushed the guard's hand off of him and threw himself onto the floor so hard that his forehead slammed into the expensive wood.
*BAM*
The meeting room was completely silent.
"CHIEF, ELDERS, PLEASE FORGIVE THIS LOWLY ONE FOR BARGING INTO THIS IMPORTANT MEETING, BUT I MUST REPORT A GREAT DANGER TO THE VILLAGE." Said kaito loudly while prostrating on the ground with his forehead pressed into the floor and his hands spread out.
Gen'ichirō stared at kaito for a long moment with unreadable eyes.
Miyo took another sip of her tea.
Tadatsugu adjusted the sleeve of his robe calmly.
Kiri's eyes narrowed coldly.
Masatake leaned onto his wooden cane and said with old eyes that looked like they had seen too much bullshit to even be surprised anymore "Speak."
Kaito lifted his head slightly, only enough to show his sweaty and nervous face and said quickly "A student from my class named gato dokuzen attacked young master kisho with an unknown jutsu and sent him flying into the chalkboard. Young master kisho is currently wounded and in the nursery."
The room became heavy.
Too heavy.
Gen'ichirō's interlocked hands froze atop of the table.
Kiri's face went blank.
Miyo placed her tea cup down.
Masatake's golden eyes narrowed slightly.
Tadatsugu's calm expression finally shifted.
"Kisho is wounded." Said gen'ichirō calmly, but the tone of his voice made the entire room feel colder than winter itself.
Kaito swallowed hardly and nodded with his forehead still touching the ground.
"Yes chief, he coughed blood. That ugly little shit gato dokuzen showed no remorse and even mocked the class afterwards. I believe he is a dangerous child who should be sent to the front lines immediately before he becomes a bigger threat to the village." Said kaito loudly, snitching like his whole life depended on it.
The shinobi guard behind kaito frowned and grabbed him by the back of his collar and started pulling him toward the door while saying coldly "You have already said enough. You were not permitted to enter this meeting."
"WAIT, WAIT, I HAVE MORE TO SAY, THAT BRAT IS DANGEROUS, HE HAS A BLOODLINE LIMIT, HE…" Said kaito loudly while being dragged toward the door.
The room froze.
"Stop."Said gen'ichirō calmly. His right hand raising lightly.
The guard Immediately stopped moving.
Kaito's eyes widened in happiness and he looked back at gen'ichirō like a dog that had finally been given a bone.
Gen'ichirō slowly stood up from his seat.
The entire room seemed to bend around his presence.
"What did you just say." Asked gen'ichirō calmly.
Kaito swallowed and said quickly "H…he has a bloodline limit chief. A swamp type bloodline limit. He formed some kind of sticky mud ball from his hand and shot it at young master kisho. I have witnesses."
The meeting room went dead silent.
Miyo's old eyes sharpened.
Masatake's fingers tightened around his wooden cane.
Tadatsugu looked completely focused now.
Kiri's cold eyes trembled with rage as she stood up from her seat.
"Where is my son." Asked kiri with a cold low voice.
Kaito's mouth opened.
"The nursery." Said the shinobi guard Immediately.
*BOOOOM*
The long table shook violently.
Kaito's eyes widened.
The shinobi guard's eyes widened.
Because kiri, gen'ichirō, masatake, miyo and tadatsugu all disappeared from the meeting room at impossible speed.
The curtains moved wildly.
The candles flickered.
The documents atop the table flew into the air.
Kaito was left kneeling on the floor with a dumbfounded look on his face as the wind from their movement hit his face.
The shinobi guard looked down at kaito with a cold glare and said "You better pray you told the truth."
Kaito said nothing.
He only swallowed.
…
(Dazai Clan Estate / Hallway)
*SWOOSH* *SWOOSH* *SWOOSH* *SWOOSH* *SWOOSH*
Five figures shot through the luxurious hallway with terrifying speed.
The servants that were carrying trays had only felt a gust of wind before their hair and clothing started moving wildly.
Gen'ichirō was in the front.
Kiri was beside him with her face twisted in pure rage.
Masatake moved behind them with his wooden cane not even touching the ground, his old body moving like death itself had forgot to claim him.
Miyo moved silently despite her very tall one toothed getas, her kimono fluttering lightly as if gravity itself was scared to disrespect her.
Tadatsugu followed behind them with his robe flowing behind him, his eyes serious.
The hallway stretched.
The air became heavy.
"Father if that brat crippled kisho I will skin him alive." Said kiri with a voice full of killing intent.
Gen'ichirō said nothing.
His face was calm.
Too calm.
Masatake glanced at kiri from the corner of his eyes and said coldly "Do not act on emotion before we understand what happened."
Kiri's eyes snapped toward him and she said with gritted teeth "That is my son."
"And this is my clan. This is my village. This is war." Said masatake calmly.
Kiri's lips twitched in rage.
But she said nothing.
The group arrived in front of a large sliding door where two medical ninjas were standing with nervous looks on their faces.
The medical ninjas Immediately bowed.
"Chief." Said both medical ninjas quickly.
Gen'ichirō ignored them and slid the door open.
*SKRRT*
The moment the door opened.
"WHEN I FIND THAT UGLY FAT BASTARD I'LL KILL HIM, I'LL FUCKING KILL HIM, I WON'T LET THIS RAGE GO, I SWEAR I'LL RIP HIS EYES OUT AND FEED THEM TO THE DOGS." Screamed kisho at the top of his lungs from inside the room.
The nursery was completely silent other than his screaming.
Kisho was laying on a medical bed with bandages wrapped around his chest and forehead while a medical ninja was trying to hold him down.
His childish handsome face was twisted in pure hatred.
Blood still stained the corner of his mouth.
"I'LL KILL HIM, I'LL KILL GATO DOKUZEN, I DON'T CARE IF HE HAS SOME DISGUSTING BLOODLINE LIMIT, I'LL MAKE HIM PAY." Said kisho loudly while trying to sit up, only to groan loudly in pain.
Kiri's eyes widened and she rushed to his bedside.
"Kisho." Said kiri with a shaky voice as she grabbed his face.
Kisho looked at his mother and his eyes became red with humiliation and rage.
"Mother, he attacked me. That ugly shit attacked me in front of everyone. He made me look weak." Said kisho with trembling lips.
Kiri's entire face twisted.
The air around her started to shake.
Her chakra began to leak.
The medical ninjas in the room paled.
"That little bastard." Said kiri slowly with her teeth clenching together.
The floor beneath her feet started to crack.
*KRRK*
"I'll kill him." Said kiri with a calm voice that sounded anything but calm.
Gen'ichirō looked at her and said sternly "Kiri."
Kiri ignored him and turned around.
"I'll kill him myself." Said kiri with a blank look on her face as she started walking toward the door.
Masatake's eyes narrowed.
"Escort her out." Said masatake calmly.
The room froze.
Kiri turned her head slowly and looked at masatake with eyes full of disbelief and rage.
"What did you say." Asked kiri coldly.
Masatake looked at two shinobi guards who had appeared near the door and said "Take kiri'teyagaiya outside until she remembers that she is an elite shinobi of this village and not a mad dog chasing a child."
Kiri's chakra exploded.
*BOOOOM*
The medical tools shook.
The lamps flickered.
Kisho's eyes widened.
"You old bastard." Said kiri with tears forming in her eyes and rage all over her face.
Masatake did not flinch.
Miyo took one small step forward and said calmly "You are proving why you should not be in this room right now."
Kiri's body trembled.
The two shinobi guards appeared beside her and placed their hands on her shoulders.
Kiri looked like she was about to kill everyone in the room.
But then she looked back at kisho.
Her rage cracked.
Her lips trembled.
She closed her eyes and said through gritted teeth "Fine."
The guards escorted her out of the nursery.
*SKRRT*
The door closed behind them.
*Boom*
The room became silent again.
Too silent.
Masatake turned his gaze back toward kisho.
The old man's golden eyes looked like two coins taken from a dead man's mouth.
"Kisho." Said masatake calmly.
Kisho slowly looked toward his great grandfather.
"Y…yes great grandfather." Said kisho with a stutter.
Masatake walked closer to the bed, each step slow, heavy and filled with a pressure that made even the medical ninjas lower their heads.
"Tell me everything that happened." Said masatake calmly.
Kisho clenched his fists around the blanket and said angrily "I walked into the classroom and that ugly bastard insulted me in front of everyone. I tried to teach him a lesson but he jumped away and shot some kind of mud ball from his hand. It hit me before I could dodge and I woke up here."
Masatake's eyes narrowed slightly.
Gen'ichirō's expression stayed calm.
Miyo watched without saying a word.
Tadatsugu rubbed his smooth chin lightly.
Masatake leaned forward slightly and asked "Did he make any hand signs."
The room became silent.
Kisho blinked.
"What." Asked kisho with confusion.
Masatake's voice became lower as he asked again "Did gato dokuzen use any hand signs before he attacked you."
Kisho's face twisted as he thought back.
The classroom.
The insult.
The rage.
The attack.
Gato raising his hand.
The mud ball forming from his palm.
His own body failing to move in time.
Kisho's eyes widened subtly as he said slowly "No."
The room froze.
Gen'ichirō's eyes narrowed.
Miyo's lips pressed together.
Tadatsugu's calm face finally showed surprise.
Even the medical ninjas looked up.
Masatake was silent for a long moment.
Too long.
"Are you certain." Asked gen'ichirō calmly.
Kisho nodded slowly and said with a hateful look on his face "He didn't use any hands signs. He just raised his hand and shot it at me."
The room became heavier.
Miyo stepped forward and said quietly "A bloodline limit that requires no seals from a civilian child."
Tadatsugu's eyes gleamed slightly and he said calmly "That is not normal."
Gen'ichirō looked down at his grandson and asked "Was his chakra unstable."
Kisho clenched his teeth and said "I don't know. It was disgusting. It felt wet and heavy and it hit like a rock."
Masatake suddenly smiled.
It was not a kind smile.
It was not a grandfatherly smile.
It was the smile of a man who had found a rusty knife in the mud and realized it could still cut someone's throat.
"Hehehe." Said masatake laughing lowly.
Everyone looked toward him.
Masatake stroked his long white beard with his left hand and said "Interesting. Very interesting."
Miyo narrowed her eyes and asked calmly "What are you thinking head elder."
Masatake turned around slowly and looked toward gen'ichirō.
"Send him." Said masatake calmly with a smile.
The room was silent.
Gen'ichirō stared at him.
"To the front lines." Said masatake with a wide smile forming on his old wrinkly face.
The medical ninjas froze.
Tadatsugu raised an eyebrow.
Miyo's eyes squinted subtly.
Gen'ichirō said nothing.
Masatake smiled with cold amusement in his eyes and said "A civilian child with a seal less swamp bloodline limit is not something we can allow to rot inside an academy classroom. If he survives, then he is useful. If he dies, then we lose nothing but an ugly abandoned boy that no clan will miss."
The room went completely silent.
Kisho's eyes widened, then a vicious smile formed on his face.
"Send him." Said kisho through gritted teeth.
Miyo picked up the edge of her sleeve and said calmly "This will also solve the issue with kaito's report and your son's humiliation. If the boy lives, the village gains a weapon. If he dies, kisho's pride is avenged by the battlefield."
Tadatsugu nodded slightly and said "The daimyo will not object. A bloodline user born from civilians being tested in war is a shinobi matter."
Gen'ichirō closed his eyes.
For a long moment.
No one spoke.
Then he opened them.
"Prepare the documents. Effective immediately, gato dokuzen will be removed from the academy roster and placed among the fresh talent assigned to the forward support line."Said gen'ichirō calmly.
The room became cold.
Masatake's smile widened.
Kisho laughed lowly from the bed and said with hatred filling his childish voice "Hehehe…good."
Gen'ichirō glanced toward the closed door where kiri had been taken and sighed silently while thinking with eyes full of exhaustion "The choices I have to make as the village chief"
Masatake turned toward the window, looking out at the beautiful night over kusagakure.
The village lights glittered.
The forest moved lightly in the wind.
And somewhere far away.
A very ugly, fat, 2'9, 6 year old boy with tanish light skin, a fat old looking face, a fat bulldog nose, shaggy receding brown hair, dark brown manipulative lecherous looking black colored sunken eyes was probably getting his ass beat by his own swamp clones without knowing his already pitiful life had just gotten even more pitiful.
…
THE END…
