Percy sat in his study, tapping on the table, thinking about Iskander's purpose in visiting his mansion. His mind was filled with these thoughts since yesterday.
"Just what did he want?" He muttered under his breath. "Not only did he come unannounced, but he also acted as if he wanted to marry Zaina; however, he left abruptly. What was in his mind?"
He couldn't shake the uneasy feeling. Iskander's behavior didn't make any sense, and it felt like he had a motive. But his thoughts were disrupted by the sudden intrusion into the room.
"Dad!" Zaina burst open the door and entered, making Percy narrow his brow, looking at her.
"What happened?" Percy asked, his eyes tracking her worried expression. "Is everything alright?"
"No, I'm here to talk about King Iskander," Zaina said with an anxious look, crossing the room quickly. "Have you been to the palace? Did you ask when he'll marry me?"
