Ten minutes had passed since Haurum was knocked out, and nobody Kledia tried to coax into taking him to his room would come over to help her. The very fact that he was unconscious somehow was enough to drive them away; after all, once he came back to his senses, who's to say he won't blame them for not treating him well enough by some arbitrary metric?
