Eleanora finally smiled.
The blade remained pressed against her throat while a thin line of blood slid slowly beneath her collarbone. The warehouse lights flickered dimly overhead, throwing dangerous shadows across concrete walls stained with old violence.
And suddenly… The entire atmosphere shifted. Dorian noticed it first. That small yet cold smile, as if something sinister was about to happen.
The trembling girl tied to the chair moments ago had disappeared completely.
Arthur's brows furrowed slightly. "What's funny?"
Eleanora didn't answer. Instead, her gaze shifted slowly toward the large monitor being connected beside the camera setup.
One of the guards smirked while adjusting the live feed. "Laurent should be joining any second now."
Another laughed darkly. "Can't wait to watch his face."
