Chapter 66 - Then You Bastard Tricked Me Into Being Your Nanny!

Chapter 66: Then You Bastard Tricked Me Into Being Your Nanny!

"Some people won't change until they've tasted Hell," Yuto explained. "That's why I want them to go through the first month naturally and learn the importance of class points the hard way."

"Once they realize their monthly individual points are tied to the class points, they'll start following the rules for their own sake."

"I highly doubt it," Chabashira Sae countered, crossing her arms over her ample chest. "Shimizu, you've already clearly warned them to obey the rules, telling them their individual points for next month would be affected if they didn't."

"Yet the students of Class D continue to break the rules—sleeping in class and playing on their phones."

Yuto had already briefed Chabashira on the students' behavior, so she was fully aware that a portion of Class D was ignoring his warnings.

"Exactly," Yuto nodded. "The slackers like Ike Kanji, who moved to the back of the classroom—they were warned by me, yet they still refuse to follow the rules."

"That's because they haven't witnessed Hell yet."

"Hell... huh?"

A smile spread across Yuto's handsome face, one that made Chabashira Sae subconsciously press her thighs together. He continued, "At the beginning of next month, the individual points will be deposited into the students' ID cards."

"That's when the students of Class D will realize their individual points are tied to the class points."

"Once they do, they'll direct their resentment toward the slackers who broke the rules. After all, if it weren't for those slackers, their own individual points wouldn't be so low!"

"From then on, everyone will proactively pressure the slackers to obey the rules, all for the sake of their own points."

"As for the slackers, they'll have already spent all their points and will be facing everyone's hatred. They'll have no choice but to tremble in fear and follow the rules."

Yuto's words left Chabashira Sae lost in thought.

"Shimizu, I understand why you're choosing not to intervene and letting things take their course. But what happens next? If the slackers still don't change, what will you do?"

Faced with Chabashira Sae's question, Yuto didn't answer directly. Instead, he said nonchalantly, "If a tree has rotten branches beyond saving, they must be pruned early."

"Otherwise, they'll hinder the tree's growth."

Yuto's words made Chabashira Sae narrow her eyes slightly. She knew exactly what this bad boy was implying...

"You want them expelled."

"No, I never said that." Yuto shook his head honestly. "On the contrary, Chabashira-sensei, you've brought up expulsion several times before. Now I'd like to ask you: under what circumstances will a student be expelled by the school?"

Chabashira Sae glanced at the handsome boy and then extended her fair hand.

"Give it here."

"What?"

"Your student ID card."

"Why?"

"Because buying the information on the grounds for expulsion costs 200,000 points," Chabashira Sae replied.

Yuto irritably slapped Chabashira Sae's extended hand. "Why would I waste points on this kind of information? I can just ask an upperclassman, can't I?"

"The reasons for expulsion shouldn't be on the school's list of prohibited information for the first month, right?"

"Heh, you're right." Chabashira Sae withdrew her hand, a faint, appreciative smile playing on her lips as she looked at the bad boy.

"After all, what kind of abnormal freshman would be curious about how to get expelled?"

Indeed, the school had not classified information regarding expulsion as prohibited from being disclosed to freshmen within their first month.

Yuto only needed to find an upperclassman and spend ten or twenty thousand points to get the information he needed.

And if the upperclassman he found happened to be a senior girl who had a thing for handsome guys, he might not even need to spend any points at all—he could just get the answers straight from her.

Chabashira Sae now knew Yuto's plan for the Class D students. Since she had no objections, their discussion on how to lead Class D concluded for the time being.

"By the way, Shimizu, why did you suddenly agree to lead the class?" Chabashira Sae asked Yuto. "If you really need a housekeeper, you could have just spent some points to solve the trouble of cleaning your private apartment directly."

"That's true." Yuto nodded, smiling at Chabashira Sae. "But I hate having strangers in my home."

Chabashira Sae pursed her lips. Yuto's statement had a hidden meaning... that she was someone he considered familiar.

"Also," Yuto continued. "Chabashira-sensei, you've said it yourself—unexpected things always happen."

"If the school doesn't consider me excellent and doesn't intend to grant me preferential treatment upon graduating from Class D, then..."

"The most reliable method is to lead Class D to become Class A, pull ahead of the other three classes in class points, and then graduate from Class A to enjoy the school's special privileges," Yuto explained deliberately.

"You've already decided, yet you're still trying to trick me into being your housekeeper!" Chabashira Sae said through gritted teeth.

"It's not a trick. We should be helping each other out," Yuto replied, flashing her a dazzlingly bright smile.

Her eyes lingered on him for a moment.

'Tsk, I can't believe I was actually captivated by that brat's smile…'

Snapping back to her senses, Chabashira Sae clicked her tongue inwardly and changed the subject.

"Shimizu, today is the official start of school. After classes end this afternoon, the school will announce information about joining clubs via the broadcast system to all new students."

"Oh? And?"

Seeing Yuto's completely unimpressed reaction, Chabashira Sae continued, "Shimizu, if you join a school club and are selected as a regular member, you can apply for a significant amount of individual points from the Student Council every month. Aren't you interested?"

"Hmm, can I apply for one million points?" Yuto asked.

"..."

If any other student had asked such a question, Chabashira Sae would have been certain they were just trying to be difficult.

'Do you have any idea how outrageous a million points is?!'

But since it was Shimizu Yuto asking... Chabashira Sae didn't think he was just trying to be difficult.

After all, this brat had just sent his own points skyrocketing to over eight million not too long ago!

"There aren't that many points. At most, it's around fifty or sixty thousand," Chabashira Sae replied.

"Just fifty or sixty thousand points? That's so little. I'm not wasting my time on a club for that," Yuto said, curling his lip in disdain.

"Shimizu, joining a club is a part of celebrating one's youth," Chabashira Sae said with a straight face.

"My definition of youth is being free and unrestrained. So, not joining a restrictive club is the only way to truly experience my youth," Yuto replied with a smile.

"..."

Yuto gave the maturely beautiful teacher a knowing smirk.

"Come on, Chabashira-sensei. Tell me the truth. There must be some other benefit to joining a club, right? Otherwise, why would you be trying so hard to convince me?"

Yuto's perceptiveness earned him an appreciative smile from Chabashira Sae. She admitted candidly, "You're right, there are other benefits. Exceptionally performing club members can earn class points for their class."

Chabashira Sae had only taken the initiative to persuade Yuto to join a club because it concerned Class D's class points. She had seen his basketball skills firsthand; if he joined the basketball club, he'd probably earn a substantial number of class points for them, wouldn't he?

"So, Shimizu..."

"I refuse," Yuto replied curtly.

"Alright."

Chabashira Sae gave up her attempts to persuade him just as decisively. This brat had a mind of his own and wasn't the type to be swayed by a few words. If he didn't want to, nobody could force him to do it.

With only ten minutes left in the lunch break, Yuto said his goodbyes to Chabashira Sae, left the counseling room, and headed back to the first-year classroom building.

As soon as Yuto stepped back into the Class D classroom, Kushida Kikyo strode over to him, her smile bright and cheerful as she greeted him.

"Shimizu-kun!"

"Hmm," Yuto replied casually to her greeting, then glanced toward Sakura Airi's seat.

Airi was already back in the classroom, but she was slumped face-down on her desk—a clear sign she must be exhausted.

Airi must have been busy at the detached apartment for quite a while.

'Ah, I shouldn't have let Airi clean the apartment.'

After all, hadn't Chabashira Sae already become Yuto's maid? Why not just have her clean the apartment instead?

"Shimizu-kun, I have something to tell you! During the lunch break, some students from Class C were fighting in their classroom. It was so scary," Kushida Kikyo said to Yuto, a faint expression of fear on her face.

"Hmm?" Yuto looked at Kushida, who was acting surprisingly mature. "How do you know Class C was fighting?"

"Well, I want to make friends with everyone, right? Except for Horikita-san, I've already exchanged contact info with everyone in our class, so I decided to go to Class C to make some new friends."

"And that's when I saw the students in Class C fighting in their classroom," Kushida explained.

Yuto's lips twitched. Just how enthusiastic is this beautiful girl about making friends? She's already exchanged contact info with everyone in Class D and has now moved on to Class C.

The main reason Kushida Kikyo had been able to exchange contact information with everyone so smoothly was because of what had happened this morning.

Aside from Yuto, Kushida Kikyo had also stolen the spotlight today.

As a result, when she asked the other students in Class D to exchange contact information, they had all readily agreed. Some of them even looked flattered to be asked.

"The student fighting in the Class C classroom... did he have shoulder-length purple hair?" Yuto asked Kikyo.

"Yes, exactly! A guy with shoulder-length purple hair was fighting a tall, dark-skinned student (Yamada Albert). How did you know, Shimizu-kun?" Kikyo asked in surprise.

Yuto shrugged.

'Of course I know.'

Ryuen Kakeru, who had been beaten up by Yuto yesterday, had originally planned to rule and intimidate Class C through violence.

So, if Class C broke out in another fight today, it had to be Ryuen Kakeru's doing. He clearly hadn't given up on ruling them through violence.

"Just a guess," Yuto said. "So, what happened next? How did the fight go?"

"I don't know," Kikyo replied. "I was too scared to stay, so I left to go make friends in Class B."

"..."

'Of course you did, you social butterfly.'

The bell for the first afternoon class rang. Yuto said goodbye to Kikyo, and they returned to their respective seats.

Back at his desk, Yuto took out his school-issued phone and sent a message of support to Sakura Airi, followed by another to Chabashira Sae.

At that moment, Chabashira Sae was packing up her textbooks, preparing to head back to the faculty dorms. Her mood was unusually good after successfully persuading Yuto.

"Hmm?"

She looked down in surprise as her phone chimed. When she picked it up to read the message, her expression immediately darkened.

[Chabashira-sensei, you don't have any classes right now, do you? You must be pretty free!]

[So, I'm asking you to clean my apartment!]

[Since you can't actually open the door, I'll just ask you to deal with the weeds in the yard~]

Gritting her teeth, Chabashira Sae stared at the messages Yuto had sent. Her good mood from earlier was completely gone!

"You little brat! If you fail to lead Class D to Class A, just wait and see what I'll do to you!"

Seething with anger, she grabbed her shoulder bag and headed toward the detached apartment Yuto had rented for three years.

The two afternoon classes passed quickly. At 2:50 PM, the school was officially dismissed.

Just as the final bell rang, the broadcast system in the first-year building suddenly crackled to life.

"Attention, first-year students. A club orientation will be held today at 5:00 PM in the First Gymnasium. Students interested in joining a club should gather there."

"Repeating: Today at—"

Hearing the announcement, Sakura Airi took out her school-issued phone and sent a message to Yuto.

[Yuto, which club are you planning to join?]

Yuto glanced at the Line message from Airi before replying.

[I don't plan on joining one. What about you, Airi?]

[If you aren't joining, then I won't either.]

The shy Sakura Airi had no intention of joining a club on her own, but if Yuto did, she would want to join whatever one he chose!

Yuto sighed at her response.

[Clubs are a part of celebrating our youth in high school, you know. So if possible, we should probably join one. Let's go check out the options first, and if we find a suitable club, we can apply.]

[Okay!]

If Chabashira Sae had seen this exchange, she would have shot Yuto a fierce glare.

This little brat is such a hypocrite!

When she had tried to persuade him to join a club by talking about "celebrating youth," Yuto had rejected her with a look of utter disgust.

And now!

This little brat is using the exact same "celebrating youth" line to persuade his childhood friend!
