Hera caught the cold glint hidden within Luke's otherwise unfathomable eyes and immediately knew he already had everything under control. Whatever trap had been laid before him, he had undoubtedly prepared a way to turn it back on those who thought they had outsmarted him.
Before she could say anything, however, Leo, who had remained silent behind them, let out a quiet scoff.
"You'd better brace yourself," he said coolly. "It might not just be your enemies plotting against you."
His words made both Hera and Luke glance at him.
The strange thing was that Leo hadn't been present during the ambush where Dave had been abducted, nor had Luke shared any of those details with him. Aside from the brief conversation Luke had with Hera after rushing to find her a few hours earlier, no one else should have known enough to arrive at such a conclusion.
Yet Leo spoke with unwavering certainty.
