With a "ding," the elevator door opened, and Turstin Muller was the first to walk out, heading straight towards the main entrance. His father and Janice Clark, who had gone downstairs earlier, were already waiting for them in the car.
The entirely black car shone brightly, even in the night, particularly eye-catching.
Turstin Muller quickly walked up to it.
Bennet Reed's grave face was just behind the car window, his eagle-like eyes fixed on him.
As they got closer, he stood by the side and leaned down to say, "Dad, you guys go back first!"
"Hmm." Bennet Reed grunted, stepped on the gas, and the car drove away.
The car hadn't driven far when the silent Janice Clark spoke up, "Bennet, I'm not going with you to North City, you and Mark can go."
"OK, we'll go and come back the same day. You're not in good health, and I don't want you to be too tired."
