Daylight passed through the upper openings of the chamber, reflecting off the golden veins in the walls and spreading a soft glow across the room. The old steam from the bath was no longer there. In its place, only the residual heat left by the two days they had spent together.
The sheet was half-fallen off the wide bed. The surface bore irregular marks, deep creases, and spots where the fabric still held the recent imprint of their bodies. Clothes were scattered across the floor without order, some pieces on the table, others thrown near the door.
Riser slept on his side, his arm wrapped around Hancock. Her body was pressed against his, her breathing calm, steady, uninterrupted. Her hair was loose, part of it on the pillow, part over his chest. Her skin still bore faint traces of the two days of continuous contact.
The room remained silent.
Until the sound.
DING.
The blue glow formed as a thin line above Riser's chest, clear, direct, impossible to ignore. The system did not wait for his consciousness to stabilize.

Riser opened his eyes.
Hancock's body shifted with his awakening, but not enough to wake her. Her leg slid a few centimeters over his. Her arm pressed lightly against her own body, an involuntary reflex from the contact.
Riser adjusted his position so as not to wake her. The sheet slipped a little further to the side, revealing part of the curve of her hip before falling back over the bed.
'Two days…'
His hand moved along her waist and stopped at the same spot where it had been before he fell asleep. The texture of her skin was still warm from the contact of the previous night.
Hancock moved again, her body sliding against his as she took a deeper breath, but she remained asleep without breaking the silence.
The system's glow remained suspended in the air.

The host now possesses maximum authority.
Riser kept his eyes on the projection.
His hand moved up along her back, adjusting the weight of her body against his chest, maintaining the same position without causing abrupt movement.
Her hair fell over his arm as she turned her face slightly, her mouth brushing against his skin for a moment before relaxing again.
The system opened another line.

Riser glanced at the ceiling for a second.
'Of course.'
The blue glow expanded above the bed, occupying the space between the ceiling and their still intertwined bodies.
The projection grew in width and depth, replacing the old layout with a broader interface, without numerical divisions, without limiting bars.

Hancock moved slightly, her leg sliding over his before stopping. Her face rested against his chest, and her breathing returned to a steady rhythm.

The blue glow gradually dimmed until it remained only as a thin outline in the air.
Hancock pressed her body against Riser's once more, her face sliding until it rested on his shoulder. Her hand closed on the side of his torso by reflex and relaxed soon after.
'Finally I'm free from this world.'
The projection vanished.
The wait was over. The system now obeyed everything without limits. Nothing bound Riser to that universe anymore. He could cross worlds, rebuild them, take people with him, or simply return to his original point of origin in Highschool DxD and, unlike the first time, nothing there was frozen. Everything would continue naturally, without risk of dimensional collapse.
Hancock moved her body slowly, her hair sliding across his chest.
"Riser-sama."
Riser adjusted his position on the bed, sliding his arm beneath her and pulling her against his chest. The sheet shifted with them, opening space for the morning light to touch part of her shoulder.
Hancock raised her face, her eyes meeting his smile.
"Why are you smiling?"
"Because nothing much. I just feel that, just like you, I am completely free."
"But I'm not free."
Riser kept his hand firm on her waist, his body still.
"What do you mean?"
"I am your slave." Hancock brought her face closer to his, her mouth almost touching. "That's what you called me. Did you forget?"
Her smile did not fade. Her expression was relaxed, her neck elongated with the closeness. Her body molded even more against his, without resistance. The two days of provocation had left marks on her and she showed no intention of letting them go.
Riser ran his hand over her face and down the line of her neck in a slow motion, adjusting her weight over his body.
"You're not my slave." He kept his fingers at the back of her neck. "That was a game. You know that."
Hancock closed her eyes for a moment and exhaled through her mouth, her breath warm against his neck.
"Then let me keep playing."
Her body molded against his once more, as if ready to raise the rhythm again. Riser slid his hand to the center of her back and pressed his thumb against her skin, guiding the movement down to the bed.
"You're still sleepy."
"I'm sleepy, husband."
"Go to sleep."
His palm touched the side of her face, and demonic energy flowed across her skin in a short, soft circle, tracing her jawline. The magic entered through her muscles and spread in a light, controlled impulse.
Hancock took a deep breath.
Her fingers slowly loosened from his torso.
Her lashes closed.
Her body relaxed completely against his chest.
She fell asleep without transition.
Riser remained still for a few seconds, keeping his hand at the back of her neck until her breathing stabilized again. Then he slid his arm away and settled her body on the mattress, pulling the sheet to partially cover her waist.
He got out of bed.
Demonic magic enveloped his body from the feet upward. The fabric formed directly over his skin, shaping itself to his torso and legs until it adjusted completely.
Riser looked at his own clothes.
The cut was fitted to the body, dark, firm, without excess. The high collar closed at the neck, the fabric following the shoulders and descending in a clean line to the waist. The fitted sleeves ended at the wrists with exact precision.
He rotated his arm once.
'Perfect.'
The fabric followed the movement without resistance.
'Nothing exaggerated. Nothing too simple.'
Riser walked to the chamber door. Before leaving, he turned his face back to the bed. Hancock remained still beneath the sheet, her hair spread across the pillow.
He opened the door and left.
PHOENIX NEST – CENTRAL CORRIDOR
The corridor was silent. The black basalt floor reflected the daylight entering through the upper openings. Guards positioned along the passage slightly bowed their heads as he passed.
Riser continued without slowing his pace.
PHOENIX NEST – MAIN OFFICE
The double door opened with a short push from Riser's hand, revealing the office still organized as it had been before the fall of Mary Geoise. The desk remained covered with maps, notes, and stacked reports. The open window let light enter in a straight beam across the black basalt floor.
Riser walked to the desk and placed both hands on its surface.
'I won't stay in One Piece anymore.'
The war had already been won. The world throne had fallen. The Celestial Dragons no longer existed. Nothing held him there.
'Go back to DxD.'
The memory of the old office came clearly: the exact point where he had disappeared to fall into that world. The system had frozen everything back then. Now nothing was frozen. The flow would be natural.
'Or I can go to another world.'
The Phoenix Nest remained silent, without interruptions, only the wind passing through the window and shifting some of the papers.
'New scenario. New structure. New throne.'
He closed his eyes for a second.
"Well… now where do I go? A new place or back to my world." Riser kept his hand closed over the wood, his body leaning forward as he supported his own weight.
"Maybe a new world… which one would be better?" Riser straightened his torso and ran his fingers along the side of the desk, his skin touching the cold marble before stopping again.
The possibilities were open.
The restrictions were gone.
The choice was absolute.
Riser remained in front of the desk, motionless for a few seconds.
The next move would define the next universe.
