Bright Star City, Bright Star Island, Flowing Stars Archipelago, Earth
Omniscient P.O.V.
Back to the group of five.
After leading the four Mikhailovs around the Branch Hall, Wang Ling finally brought them back to the Novice Enforcer Library and explained.
"The last point I want to explain is about your Professional Training. You'll be assigned a teacher, or several, depending on your specialization and skill level. Each of them is very accomplished in their respective field and will answer any question you have. You'll receive their contact information through the Hall's automatic system."
Feeling curious, Adeliya asked.
"Are they also Enforcers?"
Shaking his head, Wang Ling said.
"Of course not. Enforcers are too busy to teach new recruits, aside from when they bring those recruits on training missions. The teachers are actually experts in their field, whom the federation contracted to teach Enforcers, with a high requirement for the level of teaching provided. In other words, if they dared to skimp on your lessons, they'll face consequences they're not ready to bear."
Feeling amused at the other man's words, the four truly felt how different it was to be part of such a special organization like the Extinguishing Hall, something that the other Halls could not provide.
After a few last reminders, Wang Ling bid the four farewell as his Hall Master's position kept him extremely busy.
Honestly, if it were not for the four's special status, the man would not have bothered even seeing them at all.
Instead, an Elite member would have been assigned to take care of them.
Different statuses afforded different privileges.
Seeing the man leaving, Demian turned toward the three women standing by his side and commented jokingly.
"Well, who could have guessed that my first job would be as an Elite cop? The wonders of life, huh?"
Although his banter brought a smile to their faces, none of the women commented on it.
Instead, Adeliya asked.
"Since we're here already, we might as well start our training today. What do you think?"
With the other three's agreements, the so-called newbie practice period finally started for the four.
As Wang Ling previously mentioned, the training encompassed a variety of topics, from the most 'violent' fighting class, with Spells, Techniques and Skills application, to those more theoretical ones like geography of the Flowing Star Archipelago, hierarchical structure of the Federation and even Profiles on every VIP from the Federation, whether it were those from King and Emperor-Grade Families or those Inner and Outer Island Governors.
Of course, the most difficult of those 'lessons' were those related to their respective professions, as the four had to start from scratch, with no practical experience under their belts.
That being said, as with most things, with enough talent, obstacles could be quickly overcome, and the four proved it perfectly.
In a single day, each of the Mikhailov women reached the Entry-Level of their respective profession.
A few days later, the Low Tier 1 Stage had little secrets left for them.
A few weeks passed by, and all three had now reached the Mid Tier 1 Grade.
With no real bottleneck, it took them a few more months before each of the three was recognized as a High Tier 1 professional.
Although the Peak of Tier 1 held them back for a while longer, it was not due to a particular bottleneck but because of a desire to deepen their foundation even further, reaching an unmatched level of proficiency at their own level.
After all, the firmer the foundation, the easier it will be for them to progress in the future, and with their current lifespan, a few months was nothing for the group.
As for Demian, he did lag slightly behind the girl's progress.
To be fair, it was not that the young man's comprehension was lower than the women's, but that the Formation Path was known for being the most difficult path of all professions, encompassing the Myriad phenomena and their inner workings.
Thus, whether it was in terms of 'quantity' or 'quality', the Formation Path was truly difficult to master and even more difficult to perfect.
After all, Demian did not benefit from any related bloodline memories, unlike the three women, making the challenge greater for him.
Still, thanks to his unparalleled comprehension—and some help from the Chaos Soul Ring—, his progress was extremely rapid, merely slightly delayed because of the amount of knowledge and demand on mental adaptability when setting up and deciphering Formations.
Thus, although the Mikhailov women finally reached the Entry Level Tier 2 of their respective professions after 10 months, it took an additional 2 months for Demian to reach the same milestone.
As the last Array Flag was set on the ground, Demian suddenly felt a surge of Water Elemental Energy gathering at great speed around him.
Sensing the change, a surge of satisfaction appeared in his heart as he exclaimed.
"With this Low Tier 2 Water Elemental Energy Gathering Array, I can barely be considered a Tier 2 Formation Master."
The reason why he used the word barely was that the Low Tier 2 Water Elemental Energy Gathering Array was not only one of the easiest Tier 2 Arrays to set up, but also because he leveraged his Water intent comprehension to succeed, resulting in a much lower difficulty for him to set it up.
However, if he were asked to set up any other Elemental Gathering Arrays, especially the more general 'Low Tier 2 Elemental Gathering Array', it might not go as smoothly, if he even succeeded at all.
Still, a meal had to be eaten one bite at a time, and his current progress was already immensely satisfying, especially since he was convinced that with a few more months of practice, his Formation Path would solidly reach the Low Tier 2 instead of his current barely-entered-level.
If lucky and the right insights appeared, he may even reach the Peak of the Low Tier 2 Grade.
As his mind was habitually busy reviewing the Formation setting process, searching for flaws to fix and ways to improve, his attention was suddenly attracted by an exclamation.
"1 year to reach Tier 2... You four are truly..."
Turning his head to the side, he saw the complicated expression on Wang Ling's face, prompting a smile to appear on Demian's face as the latter remarked teasingly.
"Barely, but I guess it's not too bad."
Hearing the young man's humble bragging, the Senior Great Enforcer, powerful enough to destroy cities, instantly turned speechless.
Letting out a tired sigh, he then rubbed his eyes while mumbling under his breath.
"Forget it. Immortals are Immortals. No need for us mere Mortals to compare ourselves."
After a second, he finally recovered his calm and declared seriously.
"Since you've now met all the requirements, you can finally be sent on your first mission. As I mentioned before, you will be under a Junior Elite Enforcer who will be in charge of helping you learn as much as possible."
The four Mikhailovs turned serious as they nodded, before Adeliya asked.
"When will we be informed about the mission details, Mr. Wang?"
Pondering for a second, Wang Ling then replied.
"I need to find the right mission and Enforcer to lead you... A few hours should be enough. In the meantime, you can prepare what you need for a semi-long stay outside. After all, missions like the one you're about to embark on aren't a one or two-day thing."
Seeing them acquiesce, the older man suddenly vanished from his previous location, leaving the four Mikhailovs on their own, their gazes betraying their inner excitement.
Turning toward the three women, Demian asked with a grin hanging on his lips.
"So, girls, ready for a bit of adventure?"
His words brought a few giggles from the other three, with Seraphine taking out a Peak Tier 3 Long-Range Runic Rifle the size of a heavy motorbike before setting it on her shoulder and declaring confidently, her purple eyes emitting a chilling glint.
"With all of us having reached the Peak of Foundation Building Rank, coupled with our new weapons and growing Pseudo-Immortal Physiques, the so-called dangerous mission will be a walk in the park, with no danger whatsoever."
Shaking her head, Brynhild responded by taking out her own Peak Tier 3 halberd, whose size matched a small truck, gently caressing the handle while mumbling in disappointment.
"And here I was excited to fight some strong cultivators and demon beasts... But with how strong we've become, unless we face a Half-step Void Seed being, it'll just be us crushing the other... It's really no fun..."
Hearing those two's growingly outrageous words, Demian's lips twitched slightly as he contemplated inwardly.
'Weren't women supposed to be the gentle ones? How come I feel like they're even more bloodthirsty than most men?'
Fortunately, not all of them were eager for a fight as Adeliya's expression turned sterner as she chided the two.
"You two had better stop thinking that you're invincible. Yes, we can certainly face anyone in the Core Formation, but if we were to fight against a Void Seed cultivator or a King-Grade Demon Beast, we'd be the ones killed easily. Encountering one of them is unlikely, but being careful never hurts, alright?"
Despite having their relationship change a lot due to their current 'sister-wives' status, their mother was still their mother, and neither of the two sisters wanted to challenge her unbeatable motherly energy.
Looking a bit contrite, the two sisters fell silent while Demian added.
"Liya is right, you two. It's best to stay cautious. After all, even if you don't count the Frost Beast Palace itself, there may be others from Bright Star Island after our lives. Those people's potential may be lightyears away from our own, but with the difference between our cultivation, they can still obliterate the current us."
Seeing the solemn look on their faces, he added, his serious expression turning more relaxed.
"Still, that's just temporary. Since we're going on this mission, we might as well find a place around the Outer Islands, or even a bit farther, to go through our Tribulation. We can even try what we discussed previously. By then, I can't say we'll be able to defeat Void Seed cultivators, but we should at least be able to defend ourselves against the most ordinary ones."
The discussion in question was related to the Soul Bond's effect on their Tribulations.
More specifically, they speculated that by being bonded so closely, they may be able to face the Peak Tier 2 Tribulation at the same time, avoiding the awkward situation of having to 'line up' before going through their own tribulation, resulting in having powerful Demon Beasts pursue them and most likely not all of them being able to cross their tribulation.
Also, they would rather make other parties believe that only one Immortal-Grade talent existed in the Federation, which would make the situation safer for everyone.
Seeing the three nod, Demian added thoughtfully through the Soul Bond.
["I can also feel that my Pseudo-Immortal Physique is very close to the Small Success stage. If I'm not wrong, once we go through our tribulation, it should be enough to push it through the bottleneck."]
A peculiar glint appeared in the three women's gazes along with a knowing smile as each of them knew that once Demian succeeded, it was bound to have an enormous impact on his cultivation and combat power.
As for them, being bonded to him, their own Pseudo-Immortal Physique would at least be pushed to the Peak of the Entry Level, with a slight possibility of also reaching Small Success as well.
Even in the Immortal Realm, their current qualification would be Top-Tier, with few matching, and none above them.
At least at their current cultivation stage.
When it came to Mortal Worlds in general, however, the highest level of Pseudo-Immortal-Grade Physique was what they called 'High-Grade-Immortal-Grade talent', which was basically barely reaching the Entry Level.
As for Low and Mid-Grade Immortal talent?
It was the same as having only one foot in the door, which could give a major boost to the cultivator, but with the effect being incomparable to someone having completely crossed the threshold.
Interestingly, although the progress of their own Physique was slower than Demian's own due to only having access to his Perk at Half-efficacy, the dual cultivation aspect helped them shore up a large part of the difference, bringing them relatively close to the Peak of the Entry-Level.
Thus, even though the difference between each Level and Rank grew the higher one went, the four could still crush anyone up to one Rank above them, a heaven-defying feat.
As for fighting against someone at the Half-step Void Seed level, which was a Peak Core Formation with an Entry-Level understanding of the Void intent, the Mikhailovs could steadily defend themselves, even outlasting them thanks to their ridiculously large Energy reserve and incredibly fast Energy recovery, the two attributes being directly related to Demian's Equalized Adaptation Perk.
Still, unlike those two warmongering sisters, Demian and Adeliya were more prudent, preferring to have a crushing advantage over their enemies rather than facing an evenly matched adversary.
After all, life was not a game where one could die and retry as many times as they wanted.
No, their current life was too sweet for them to take the risk of losing it over some temporary 'thrill'.
After a second, Demian shoved that thought to the side before suggesting.
"Let's go back to the Mansion to prepare our things, alright?"
With the others' agreement, Demian led the other three back to the Serene River Mansion, swiftly informing Sergei and the others of their imminent departure before swiftly 'packing' their 'bags' as quickly as they could.
Honestly, with the use of their Void Ring, it barely took them a few minutes to finish everything, with most of the time used on deciding what to bring rather than the packing itself.
Around fifteen minutes later, the group of four found themselves at their usual tea spot, the Main Courtyard's River Pavilion, with Sergei, Ling, and a few others, like Mikhail and Eldoria, who had been keeping in touch with the four young cultivators throughout the past year.
At that moment, the Mermaid Empress set down her half-empty teacup and exclaimed while looking toward the four Mikhailovs.
"You four are truly something else. I already expected your cultivation speed to be fast, but even your talent in your respective Profession is incredible."
Shaking her head slightly while wearing a wry smile, she added.
"Now, I completely understand why the Supreme Elder said that Immortal-Grade talents are innately different from the rest."
Despite having thick skin, even Demian felt a bit peculiar as the much older and much more powerful woman complimented him so much.
However, outwardly, he simply replied calmly.
"It's just luck, Aunt Eldoria, nothing to be proud about."
Indeed, if it were not for that Entity gifting him those three Perks, the Mikhailovs' fate would have surely been completely different.
Thinking about it deeply, they may not have even been alive by now.
Still, Eldoria shook her head and stated seriously.
"Luck is still a type of talent. Not only that, but even with talent, if one doesn't practice, the only result would be wasted potential."
Despite knowing she was right, the young man felt a bit uncomfortable with a compliment he did not deserve.
Not displaying his inner thoughts outwardly, Demian swiftly joined the conversation once more, sharing his progress along with the three Mikhailov women.
Then, the group swiftly changed the topic, focusing on their upcoming mission, with Sergei explaining.
"I've talked to Enforcer Wang previously, and, because your progress has exceeded what he expected, he decided to increase the difficulty of your next mission to the Mid Tier 3 grade. In other words, among the ones you'll have to inspect will be at least Mid Tier 3 cultivators, and the Junior Elite Enforcer leading you will be at least at the Peak Mid Core Formation."
Nodding their head, the four were not overly surprised as, aside from some core secrets like the Perks and Pseudo-Immortal Physique, they did not hide much of their progress from Wang Ling.
Of course, when it came to their combat power, they only displayed High Tier 3 strength and not their actual Half-Step Void Seed power.
Although they felt that the man was trustworthy, a bit of caution never hurt, and, frankly, being able to face someone an entire Rank above their own cultivation was already ridiculously high at their own level, so there was no need to show more.
Tilting her head, Adeliya questioned the Sergei couple.
"You two have much more experience... Do you think there is a chance of us having to face High Tier 3 cultivators or Demon Beasts?"
With a wry smile, Ling replied.
"It's hard to say. The chance is low, but not nonexistent. Just be careful when you're out there and flee if it becomes too dangerous. Also, don't play the hero. It might sound cold, but your lives are much more important than anyone else in the Federation, even my own and my husband's. After all, if we, or other people, died, others can replace us, but you four are the keys to breaking the deadlock with the Frost Beast Palace and are completely irreplaceable."
Hearing those words, frowns appeared on the four's faces as Demian retorted with a hint of irritation.
"Don't say that kind of thing, Aunt Ling. To us, you're all irreplaceable as well."
Seeing her about to rebuke, he immediately interrupted her, his Immortal Aura unwittingly leaking due to his unsettled emotions, which brought an instinctive feeling of oppression to everyone else present, except the other Mikhailovs.
"No need to try to convince us with that nonsense, Aunt Ling. All of you remember this: the four of us started to cultivate so we'd be able to protect the people we care about, not to let them sacrifice themselves to save us. This is my Path, and you better not try to tell me otherwise."
As those words left his lips, his Aura turned even more majestic, something that should have been impossible for a Foundation Building cultivator to attain.
Although the people present were all two or three Ranks above the four, which would normally make the young man's declaration ridiculous, whether it were Sergei, Ling, and Mikhail at the Void Seed Rank or even Eldoria at the Void sapling Rank, none of them wanted to laugh.
Indeed, although with the word 'pseudo', his Physique was still related to the Immortal Realm, and as it approached Small Success, the young man's Aura was beginning an incredible transformation, rising slowly to a higher life level, beyond the normal cultivation breakthrough they had all experienced.
Honestly, if it were not for the fact that he usually reined in his own Aura, his daily interaction with the people around him, aside from his lovers, would have become extremely awkward.
Speaking of the latter, their man's outburst seemed to unwittingly trigger a reaction inside them as their own Aura started leaking out from their own bodies, turning them into some sort of fallen Immortal Goddesses in the others' views.
If before the four had already been remarkable, then they were now exuding inviolable majesty and incomparable grandeur, giving rise to a subconscious feeling of inferiority in those witnessing the incredible sight.
After all, although the words 'Immortal' and 'Mortal' merely differed by two letters, the two represented two drastically different levels of being, akin to the difference between a Planet and a grain of sand.
Granted, the four Mikhailovs' Physique was only around the Peak of the Entry-level, and the other four were considered high-level cultivators, which greatly mitigated the effects on them, but they still felt a light pressure on the life level.
Instantly, the phenomenon brought a scary notion to the four older cultivators' minds.
If some Foundation Buildings with Pseudo-Immortal Physiques could have that sort of suppression effect on them with a two or three-rank difference, then what about a true Immortal?
As for the fact that the three women were Immortal-Grade talent, that was something that was not worth hiding from anyone in the Mikhailovs' inner circle, the Mansion's staff being included as well.
After all, since they were all bonded to Demian, the chance of betrayal was pretty much zero, making the effort unneeded.
A few moments later, Demian realized that he might have gone a bit too far, immediately retracting his Aura and coughing once before apologizing.
"Sorry about that, everyone. I'm a bit sensitive when it comes to losing people, so Aunt Ling's words made me lose control a bit."
With the three women doing the same, the other four waved their apologies away, stating that it was understandable.
Inwardly, however, they all sighed in amazement, thinking about how different those with Immortal potential were.
After the small episode, the group kept chatting until they received a message from Wang Ling stating that everything was ready, only waiting for them to meet the Lead Enforcer at the Hall.
The news brought a small grin to the four Mikhailovs' faces before Demian shared it with the rest of the group.
Then, after bidding farewell to the others, the Mikhailovs flew rapidly toward the Extinguishing Hall located a few hundred kilometers away from the mansion, at the Inner and Outer Cities's junction.
Flying away at great speed, only a few minutes went by before their gazes were met with the wooden board sporting the familiar quote 'Extinguishing Evil to protect the Flame of Civilization'.
Below the gates, Wang Ling and an unknown man were seen silently waiting together, with the latter sporting a respectful expression as he sometimes glanced at the Hall Master standing by his side, a glint of curiosity flashing intermittently in his eyes.
Seeing the group arrive, Wang Ling's expressionless face instantly turned warm, something that the other man immediately picked up on, though after having been informed of the four young people's identity, only a hint of surprise appeared in his heart before being quickly suppressed.
Outwardly, however, he showed nothing but calm as he followed his superior to greet the new arrivals.
As the four Mikhailovs landed a few meters away from the other two and started to walk toward them, Demian, with a confident smile on his face, said.
"I hope you haven't been waiting for long, Mr. Wang and Mr...?"
To which the man in question responded, bowing his head slightly.
"Stanislav Gregorov. It's a pleasure to meet the famous Young Immortal and the three Immortal Ladies."
Although not a big fan of others fawning over him, Demian was aware of the saying that one did not slap a smiling face, and thus he replied in a surprisingly well-practiced tone, a polite smile on his face.
"Merely empty titles. After all, the four of us have only reached the Peak of Foundation Building, extremely far from the so-called Immortal level. However, I see that Mr. Gregorov's foundation is well-condensed, with a slight sign of breakthrough momentum. It seems that the Seventh Level of Core Formation is right around the corner for you."
Those casual words brought a wave of astonishment to Stanislav's heart along with a thought.
'How can he tell?!'
After all, his Aura was retracted, and the young man's cultivation was even one rank below him...
Catching the amused grin on Enforcer Wang's face, Stanislav finally understood why the former kept reminding him to be respectful toward the four of them.
'No wonder he's called 'Young Immortal'. Truly, a name can be misleading, but nicknames never are.'
Outwardly, he only displayed a slight glint of surprise in his gaze before his expression turned even more polite as he responded.
"The young Immortal truly has Divine Eyes. A few days ago, I did catch a hint of insight, but I'm still far from a proper breakthrough."
Noticing the growing respect in the man's attitude towards him, Demian nodded inwardly, thinking that now they would surely avoid being treated lightly by Gregorov.
After all, with the difference in cultivation, no matter how great Demian's and the girls' reputations were, most people would only treat him as a high-potential junior, but never like someone on their level.
For people like Sergei or Mikhail, neither of the four Mikhailov cared about being treated like beloved juniors, but for others, it was different.
The only exception would be if it were enemies, which would only be beneficial for the group of four.
Back to the situation.
Hearing the man's words, the three women only nodded politely, though none of them bothered to speak.
It was not due to misplaced arrogance, but simply because they established Demian as the group's leader during field missions, as they all agreed that both his leadership skills and strength were the highest among them.
As the two finished introducing themselves, Wang Ling explained to the four Mikhailovs.
"Enforcer Gregorov here is one of the most trustworthy Enforcers in the Bright Star Branch Hall, having mentored many new recruits in the past. Not only that, but his combat power is close to the Peak Core Formation, so with him leading you on this mission, your safety is mostly assured."
Despite knowing that their own strength was superior to the man's own, Demian did not bother correcting Wang and instead asked.
"What about the mission, then?"
Gesturing toward Stanislav with his head, Wang Ling stated.
"Enforcer Gregorov will explain on the way. I also sent a file detailing everything you need to know to your ID Token. Also, do remember to wear your Disguise bracelet, as with your identity, you'd definitely encounter ambushes on the way otherwise."
To be fair, even if it were not for his reputation as an Immortal-Grade talent, Demian still would have to hide his identity, as Enforcers had to do their job secretly, without any of their targets being aware of their presence.
Otherwise, it would surely 'stir the grass and startle the snake', with the targets in question hiding their misdeeds and the Enforcers ending up with nothing but a 'mouthful of dust' as reward.
With a light nod, Demian replied.
"We'll keep it in mind."
Then, he turned toward Gregorov and stated with a polite tone.
"Enforcer Gregorov, my fiancées and I will be in your care."
With a slight bow of his head, a respectful smile on his lips, Stanislav replied, while taking out a Flying Boat from his Void Ring.
"I'll do my best to protect the four of you. In the meantime, let's use my boat to go to the Regional Void Relay Station. We'll use it to travel to the Large Island 'Flowing Wind Island', which is close to our target Island."
The four Mikhailovs then quickly bade farewell to Wang Ling before boarding the boat.
Then, the boat swiftly sped toward the Relay Station, located a few hundred kilometers away from the Hall.
On the way, Gregorov started to brief them on the mission they were about to embark on.
"This time, the target is the governor of 'Mist Island'. The Island itself is an Intermediate Outer Island, with a High Tier 3 Elemental Vein, which is enough to sustain the cultivation of High Core Formation Cultivators."
Seeing that the other four had no questions, he continued.
"The man in question is officially at the Peak Mid Core Formation level, but some sources suggest that he might have broken through to the Seventh Level Core Formation. No matter the case, his combat strength is bound to be limited, so I can easily deal with him if needs be."
Feeling curious, Demian questioned.
"So we're supposed to spy on him?"
Nodding his head, the older Enforcer replied.
"Yes and no. An informant warned us that the man may be involved in some sort of trafficking ring, possibly linked to some Demon Beasts and Demon cultivators, though the exact circumstances are still unknown, which is why we've been sent to investigate."
Hearing the mission content, a light frown appeared on the four's face, with Adeliya intervening.
"Is the information reliable?"
Seeing the slight irritation in the woman's expression, Stanislav felt a bit baffled by her reaction, feeling as if the women around the Young Immortal seemed to be a lot less... 'easy-going' than he was.
Still, he had gone through enough to avoid letting that sort of attitude impact him, and thus calmly explained.
"It's never 100% certain, but the source has been providing us with reliable information for decades, so the Hall found it credible enough to launch an investigation."
Sensing the man turning a bit colder than previously, Demian quickly picked up on the situation and said, while his gaze radiated killing intent.
"Trafficking Ring, huh? If it turns out to be true, then I'll take care of the man myself."
Seeing the young man's reaction, Stanislav finally realized that he had previously misunderstood the redhead's reaction.
He could not be blamed, though, as trafficking Humans and Beasts had unfortunately become a lot more common in the last few hundred years, making it something he had to deal with relatively often.
Although his reaction was as fierce as the young ones the first few times he had to deal with it, after continuous exposure to those horrors, he had now become somewhat numb, and, unless it happened right before him, it was hard for him to muster too much emotion anymore.
However, the four in front of him were clearly extremely young, and, coupled with the fact that it was the first time they were confronted with that sort of thing, their outburst was not surprising.
After adding a few more pieces of intel, the group then fell silent, lost in their own thoughts as the boat was growing closer to the station.
Around half an hour later, the group finally arrived in front of the massive building, disembarking from the flying boat, now looking completely different from their previous appearances.
Looking at the four average-looking people standing by his side, Gregorov, his appearance as unnoticeable as the other four, then led the group toward the Regional Terminal.
There, it took only a few minutes to buy a ticket for Flowing Wind Island before the group then went through security and then had to wait at the right Gate along with a few dozens of unknown cultivators around them.
Interestingly, Demian found that the process was surprisingly close to what would happen in an Airport from his previous life, with merely a few minor differences.
Less than an hour later, everyone waiting at that gate was ushered toward the Teleportation circle by a few staff members, the latter warning them to stay still before everyone present felt a surge of Void Energy enveloping them, and their vision suddenly turned blurry.
Unlike their previous experience, this time none of the Mikhailovs felt the slightest hint of dizziness, with Seraphine even starting to sense the Void Energy patterns around them, her comprehension growing deeper by the second.
After an unknown time, the hundred or so people felt their visions return, though more than a few among them with weaker cultivation fell to the ground from the toll the teleportation took on their bodies.
As for Demian and the other three, their gaze was quickly attracted by the surrounding scenery, before moving toward a beautiful woman wearing the official Relay Station's uniform standing outside the teleportation circle, when they heard a soft female voice brushing against their ears, along with everyone else's.
"Welcome to the Flowing Wind Island. We hope that you've had a pleasant journey and wish you an enjoyable stay on the Island. Please, leave the circle quickly and follow the path to the Terminal Exit. Thank you for your attention."
