James and Charlotte landed in Cloud city in the afternoon booking a Presidential suite, the first thing James did was go to a car dealership to buy a car for them to drive around in. they settled on a Mercedes, both of them entered the showroom looking at each car individually. a showroom assistant walked over seeing how they were dressed and snorted "if you aren't buying then don't be an eyesore" she sneered
"That's fine we don't need your help" James waved his hand dismissively. placing his hand on Charlotte's back looking at the cars a bit more. the assistant went and grabbed the manager making an excuse of a country bumkin making a seen in the showroom. they both walked back out into the showroom seeing James and Charlotte sitting on the lounge chatting with each other.
"You two, what are you both doing? you are scaring away the other customers" the manager shouted
James and Charlotte looked around and said "Do you both serve the ghosts? no one else is here"
Charlotte spoke flatly "if this is what the car dealership is like then we will ask for a refund and go to the shop next door"
"The Porsche or the Audi?"
"Oh, the Austin Martin. all we have to do is verify our funds and won't have this issue"
James nodded in agreement "the showroom server is coming back, and we will let them know"
James and Charlotte stood up in unison and asked for a refund on the car with him. leaving the show room as quick as they entered, the manager asked what the hell was going on. "They paid for a Maybach s680 in full then asked for a refund? what happened I was just finalizing the documents for them"
The manager saw them driving out of the Austin martin dealership with a Valkyrie LM. becoming more furious. slapping the female snobby worker, in the car Charlotte asked, "why did you put the car in my name?"
"So, you have assets too"
"This is an expensive car why didn't you buy yourself one?"
"Do you want me to have the same car as you?" asking teasingly
James noticed her not speaking glancing over seeing she was blushing a little bit. he gave her his phone saying "give them a call get them to deliver a car to the penthouse house"
Charlotte instantly smiled and did exactly what he said. on the other end of the phone once they finished all the paperwork, they send they had qualified for a diamond membership card which would be placed in the car. so, they didn't have to worry about returning back to the dealership.
Charlotte asked, "Why are you so willing to spend carelessly?"
"It isn't careless. Remember what I said back in the office? I want you to be my equal"
They went to a restaurant in the centre of the city. the receptionist explained that the only spot open was the one on the third floor at the top and it was a bit expensive, arriving at the room they were speechless the view overlooked the whole city as the sun beamed over the horizon making a wonderful spot for a sunset.
the waiter passed the menu to both of them, saying "the prices are bit expensive because of this room being a certain type of member, James said with a smile "how do we get on this member list?"
the waiter replied calmly "you have to spend a fair bit of money to qualify, you guys must be new here"
"Could you make an account, and I'll transfer money for this meal and other meals in advanced"
the waiter nodded and arranged the documents, to be signed and informing the Management department. After everything was sorted James and Charlotte finally got a chance to eat, she grabbed a chunk of meat with a fork, hesitantly putting it towards James's mouth.
James opened his mouth taking the meat from the fork "that is so tasty" doing the same thing back to her "let's eat before it gets cold" Charlotte said shyly while having food in her mouth.
after finishing the meal, the manager walked in greeting James politely "Welcome to being the newest Bell's member, the cost of the meal and the amount that you topped up with makes you a platinum member, same with the Young Miss"
"Thank you." James said
Charlotte stood up and went to bow; James stopped her before she could finish "Charlotte did you forget we don't bow?"
Charlotte stood up straight "I forgot my bad" whispering having James being the only one to hear her.
James asked the manager if the boss was available to have a quick drink, the manager looked sceptical, Charlotte took the entitative saying "don't worry, each time James askes to see the boss, he just wants to know if there is anywhere, he could invest."
the manager stammered a little bit "A-are you sure you want to do that?"
Charlotte smiled saying "you can blame me, I told him to use his money to grow his future"
The manager hurriedly rushed to call his boss over, James placed a hand on Charlotte's shoulder rubbing with his thumb gently "Your dad is right we do make a solid team"
"He is just biased"
hearing the sound of footsteps approaching they took a step back from each other, before sitting down. James's phone began to ring repeatedly looking down seeing it was Jake, answering it "Sir we screwed up"
"What? how?" James asked
Jake said "we made a bad call and lost your money straight away"
James rubbed his forehead, in disbelief. the door creaked open Having the Bell's Owner walking in. James saw and turned around facing the window after giving him a nod. "Jake, it hasn't even been a day, why are you two being too reckless? I will transfer a bit more. if you act too reckless this time then you both will forfeit this month"
"Understood Boss"
James hung up and quickly transferred more money before greeting the owner charlotte said "this is Mr Jefferson"
the manager announced "This is Mr Cornwell"
James and Mr Cornwell shook each other's hands and sat down "I heard you wanted to invest around here"
"Yes, and I'm willing to spend up to 1 billion"
Charlotte jumped in "and I want to put in 300 million"
James smiled saying "1.3 billion I will be covering her money" looking over to Charlotte saying "if you want to put in then I will cover it, save your money and get the same thing"
Charlotte rolled her eyes "Sorry but did you say 1.3 billion??" Mr Cornwell asked in surprised.
"Is it too little?" James asked sarcastically
