Chapter 28 - Nidoran siblings

Odin stood there, his jaw locked tight as a wave of intense heat hit his cheeks, his pride taking a direct hit while the scarlet-haired bitch kept laughing right next to him. But right away, before she could push the knife any deeper, Odin's sharp eyes caught a tiny detail near the edge of the purple sludge puddle—a small, almost invisible trail of dark blood drops stretching away from the carcass into a side tunnel.

Finding the perfect fucking excuse to hide his embarrassment, he quickly slapped his hand over her mouth, telling her to shut the fuck up and pay attention.

"Shut the fuck up and look, bitch!" Odin whispered sharply, pointing his finger directly at the stone floor. "Look right there. There's an active blood trail here. Something tells me this blood belongs to our little rascals, not the fish. Fate, here I come!"

Lucy stopped laughing instantly, batting his hand away as she crouched down next to him, her eyes tracking the dark, minuscule stains. "Well, shit. You might actually be onto something for once."

The duo quickly picked up their pace, following the extremely thin and sparse trail of blood as it wound deeper into the shifting, blue-lit maze. The drops were so tiny and scattered that they almost lost the track and got completely turned around multiple times. Every single time the trail went cold against the jagged blue stone, they instantly started arguing like psychos about whose fault it was that they lost the blood trail, frantically pointing fingers and cursing at each other.

"You're the one with the fate or destiny or whatever tracker build into you or something, Odin! How the fuck did you walk right past that rock?!" Lucy hissed, her face turning red with irritation.

"Me?! You're the fucking bodyguard, hoe!" Odin countered, wildly waving his hand. "If you spent less time laughing your ass off at me, your eyes would actually be on the ground! Do your fucking job!"

"You spotted the blood trails right!? You're fucking majesty has good eye sights no?

So why are you so fucking incompetent?" Lucy scoffed.

"What!?, bitch I'm anything but incompetent!. I'm handsome, sexy, blessed, tall, fated, destined, smart, charming, a good fuck, a Pokémon battle expert, a good pokemon hunter, a good pokemon tracker, I'm fucking rich, talented, desired, I have a massive fucking COCK!" Odin shamelessly yelled out.

"What's the point of fucking hyping yourself out, if your just going to embarrassingly fail right infront of me and geodude. I guess you truly like to shine!. Even in utter embarrassment, you still find the time to cling to the limelight of your pathetic self inserted glory!" Lucy retaliated back.

In the background, the Geodude was still floating along behind them, carrying both of their heavy travel bags like a stressed-out butler. At this point, after listening to their limitless, non-stop Bullshit bickering 24/7, even Geodude grew completely and utterly tired of their drama.

The rock Pokémon let out a loud, furious, and gravelly growl that violently echoed off the cavern walls, telling them to shut the fuck up and pay attention. "Geo... DUDE!!"

Before they could even snap back at him, Geodude moved past their feet, right toward the exact spot where the thin, sparse trail of blood had disappeared. He dropped one of the travel bags onto the dirt with a loud thud, pointed a thick rocky finger straight down at a hidden blood smear, and glared at them with absolute annoyance. "GEO, GEO DUDE!! DUDE!!"

The sudden burst of authority from the Geodude caused both Odin and Lucy to freeze mid-argument, looking completely stunned.

"Aye... sorry, bro," Odin muttered, his voice turning uncharacteristically timid as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Aye... sorry, Geodude," Lucy added quickly, her tone turning sheepish.

Geodude let out a lingering huff, snatched up the travel bag he had dropped, and immediately took the lead, guiding them down the path like the true boss of the group. Odin and Lucy followed right behind him, completely quiet and obedient. Lucy walked with both of her hands tucked neatly behind her back, clearly feeling a little guilty. Odin, meanwhile, slung both of his hands lazily behind his head, forcing a carefree posture, to save whatever dignity he still had left, though he was secretly feeling a little guilty too.

Soon enough, the sparse trail of blood led straight to the narrow mouth of a cave opening. Geodude stopped in his tracks, dropped a bag again, and pointed his rocky finger directly inside the dark entrance. "Geo... DUDE!"

He grabbed the bag back up and waited for both Odin and Lucy to step inside first

The second Odin and Lucy crossed the threshold, they found them. They found their destined Nidorans. The moment his eyes locked onto the two small creatures, Odin felt a heavy surge ripple through his core. It was the same resonance, the raw will that the Nidoking and Nidoqueen had passed on to him. That feeling of pure fate washed over him, and he felt an immediate affinity with them.

The two Nidorans were huddled tightly in the far corner, cowering away from the light. The young female Nidoran seemed to be injured a little; she was clearly the source of the sparse blood trail they had been tracking. And the male Nidoran? He was fiercely covering his sister, his tiny body trembling with rage as he shielded her body completely, baring his teeth.

Odin's mind locked into the system interface. 'System! Scan! Now!'

[Ding!]

[Nidoran(male)] [Level 5] [Platinum-Potential]

[Ding!]

[Nidoran(female)] [Level 5] [Platinum-Potential]

Odin's internal monologue completely froze in absolute shock. 'Oh... my... god... both of them are Platinum-Potential? I've literally hit the fucking jackpot!'

But before Odin could internally celebrate the massive win, Lucy's hands suddenly grabbed onto his wet uniform sleeves, tearing his attention away. She pointed a trembling finger toward the two huddled Nidorans, her eyes wide with complete, unadulterated disbelief.

"I... I can't fucking believe it..." Lucy whispered, her voice cracking as she stared at the glowing blue skin of the female. "Are you actually blessed, fated... did those dead royals really send you here? Odin, who the fuck actually are you?!"

Odin threw his head back, letting out a loud, boisterous, and completely arrogant laugh as he basked in her total bewilderment.

"I'm the chosen one, bitch," Odin bragged shamelessly, flashing his most narcissistic smirk. "The poison whisperer. The fated one. The one blessed by Arceus itself."

He kept joking around and hyping himself up, but Lucy was completely bamboozled. Finding a double set of probably high-potential Nidorans.. at least, everything odin finds is always high Potential, no need doubt these 2 at all, but here in the middle of fucking nowhere inside Mt. Moon... it couldn't be a coincidence anymore. Is Odin really some fated god? Was what Ariana said about his intoxicating stench of fate or destiny actually true?

Driven by pure, bewildered curiosity, she leaned in close and began immediately sniffing Odin's chest, neck, hair, face like a dog, trying to find this mysterious scent. But she couldn't smell a single damn thing except for river water, sweat, and wet leather clothes. Can Ariana really smell fate? Lucy thought, her mind spinning into a total daze. Or was that crazy bitch just pulling shit out of her ass? Does fate just smell like river water and damp clothes... or am I just completely incapable of sensing it? Wait, hold on... what the fuck does fate even smell like anyways?

Seeing her completely lost in a daze, staring blankly at his chest while sniffing him like a stray puppy, Odin decided to bring her back to earth. He reached down, wrapped his large hand around her alluring hip, and gave her a massive, tight, and incredibly firm squeeze right on her plump ass cheek, the physical impact violently snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Ah!" Lucy gasped, her eyes flying wide open as her face turned bright red.

"Wake the fuck up, bodyguard," Odin chuckled darkly, letting his hand linger on her curves. "The targets are right there."

Lucy immediately collected herself together "Let's catch them," Lucy said, her instincts locking back into place. her eyes sharpening as she unclipped her Pokéball. "Let's catch them," she said, her voice steadying.

But as soon as she said that, the male Nidoran began barking at them like a dog, fiercely protecting his sister and shielding her completely.

"Back off Lucy, let me handle this" with one hand Odin pushed her aside, "remembered how you called me failure earlier?, well let daddy show you he gets shit done!" Odin delivered with a flawless smirk.

"Yeah, make sure you don't trip over your own ego, daddy" she playfully hissed.
