Chapter 908 - 908 One Piece: The Lightning Fruit, Enel's Wrath, Heading to Upper Yard, Teaching Nami Haki, and Prelude to God vs. The King of the World.

A powerful attack fell from the sky toward Conis. That was the last thing the girls saw before the light blinded them.

When the light faded, the girls aboard the ship were horrified to see that Enel's "divine punishment" had created a bottomless hole in the cloud shore.

Although the ground was ultimately made of island clouds and therefore wasn't as durable as solid earth, the psychological impact of seeing an abyss-like crater where there had once been a dreamlike beach was terrifying, especially because Conis and Allen had been standing there.

"Where's Allen?!" Vivi exclaimed, her chest tightening with pain.

"No way..." Hina gasped, feeling weak.

"Allen!" Robin cried out in fear.

"Relax, I'm fine," Allen said.

His voice came from behind them.

When they turned around, every girl's face lit up with joy and relief.

"You're okay?!" Nami exclaimed.

"Allen!" Robin rushed over and immediately began checking him over.

The young man couldn't help but feel concerned. Hadn't he demonstrated his strength enough already? Did his crew still think he could be killed that easily?

Allen sighed and gently laid the unconscious Conis against the mast so Kaya could examine her.

"Don't worry. As flashy as Enel's attack looked, it wasn't actually that powerful. At least, it wasn't on the level of an attack from Garp or Aokiji. Maybe it was around the level of one of Ace's casual attacks."

Hearing Allen's words, the girls breathed a sigh of relief. Of course, an attack on the level of a Yonko's Second Commander was still terrifying, but considering Allen had already fought two people stronger than Portgas D. Ace, they felt at least a little more at ease.

"So..." Hina said.

Allen nodded as a smile appeared on his face.

"Yeah. This 'god' is much weaker than you'd expect. And I can confirm he has a Devil Fruit. If I had to guess, it's the Lightning Logia." Allen laughed.

....

Enel crushed the armrest of his throne as his face twisted with rage. Not only had his divine punishment failed, but that shameless human youth actually dared to underestimate his power.

Did he really think that was all he could do?!

Of course he wasn't going to use his full strength against some random girl.

"No... I need to calm down."

Enel didn't usually pay much attention to the sinners within his domain. He only entertained himself with mortals from time to time and never watched them this closely. However, this group—and Allen in particular—was different.

Ever since Allen had arrived, Enel hadn't stopped observing him, though he didn't know why. Perhaps it was curiosity. Perhaps interest. Or perhaps, unconsciously... caution.

Despite that strange feeling, Enel didn't move.

He was a god—or at least, he believed himself to be one. He wouldn't personally confront unworthy mortals, no matter how irritating they were, unless they came all the way to his feet.

That perception of himself as a superior being dictated his actions.

....

"Hey, there's something underneath us!" Tashigi shouted as she noticed the shadow of something approaching the ship.

"Raise the anchor," Allen ordered with a smile.

The girls exchanged glances but obeyed. As soon as they did, two enormous red claws emerged from the sea, grabbed the ship, and began towing it across the White Sea at incredible speed.

Leaning over the side, they saw a giant lobster with the word "GOD" written on its head, pulling the ship along while carrying it above itself.

"This direction... it's taking us to Upper Yard!" Nami exclaimed.

"Looks like it," Uta said with a shrug.

"Well, it seems 'God' is inviting us to his home." Robin laughed.

"What's wrong, Navigator-san? Still scared of Enel?~" Mikita teased.

Nami clenched her fists in annoyance. Still, they were right. She was the only one who remained frightened, even after Allen himself confirmed that Enel's strength couldn't compare to Garp's or Aokiji's. At the very least, this god wasn't an unbeatable opponent for Allen.

Besides, Allen had personally ordered them to raise the anchor, clearly showing he didn't mind accepting the invitation.

"This is bad!" Conis exclaimed.

She had just awakened and was visibly nervous, but when she saw everyone safe, she let out a sigh of relief.

"You did something very foolish, Conis," Allen said with a faint smile.

The girl looked at him silently. She was still dazed. She didn't know why she had acted that way. She hadn't wanted Allen and his crew to fight Enel and end up dead.

"This Enel doesn't sound like someone worthy of admiration. Why is he your god?" Nojiko asked.

The girl remained silent for a moment before lifting her gaze. She looked as though she were about to cry.

"Enel is an evil man. Years ago, he arrived and defeated the previous 'god.' Since then, he's ruled with an iron fist. He doesn't tolerate even the slightest hint of rebellion. If you defy him, you simply die. Everyone is terrified of disobeying him, so even when we're afraid, we're forced to obey his commands..."

"I see," Nami sighed. "He's exactly the kind of bastard we expected him to be."

"Yeah. To begin with, anyone who thinks they're God can't be right in the head." Tashigi chuckled as she looked at Allen. "Well... a future King of the World isn't that far off either~."

"What should we do, Captain?" Uta asked, looking at Allen, who had remained silent after hearing Conis's story.

Conis quietly looked at him.

"Well, I'm not a hero. It's not like I go around helping people in need and overthrowing evil..."

For a brief moment, Conis lowered her head. She was relieved that her new friends wouldn't risk themselves, but deep down, she also felt a little disappointed. Still, she understood that Allen had no obligation to risk his crew for her or her people.

Allen crouched down and gently lifted Conis's chin.

"Of course, as a pirate, nothing is stopping me from granting requests in exchange for something... a reward, for example. Or maybe I'd do it for free... you know."

Conis's eyes widened before her face turned as red as a tomato. Was he implying what she thought he was?!

Her imagination immediately filled with inappropriate fantasies, and her eyes began spinning.

"Hey!" Robin scolded Allen for teasing Conis.

Allen laughed. "What I mean is that, if one of my companions happened to have problems with a tyrannical god, I wouldn't mind helping."

Conis blinked in disbelief, then steam practically began rising from her head. Was that what he meant?! She had completely misunderstood him?!

[Yeah, right. We all know that's just an excuse because you want an angel in your harem!]

'Hey, what kind of person do you think I am? That's not true,' Allen replied, feeling offended.

It was true that, in the end, the members of his crew always ended up "leveling up," along with everything that implied, but that wasn't why he invited them to join him.

[...]

'Okay, fine. I think she's cute. Happy now?'

[That's more like it. You don't have to pretend to be a saint. Just admit you like a girl, and that's why you want to help her. That's much better.]

Just like Lenalee, the girls looked at Allen with disdain, so he decided to be honest.

"Of course, I also think you're cute, so I'd like to kidnap you."

The girls' eyes widened, and Conis opened her mouth, stammering. As pure as an angel, Conis couldn't handle the embarrassment.

"I-I... but... how... ah!"

Allen shrugged. "Come on. You all insist that I be honest, and when I am, this is the result. What do you want from me?"

Shameless!

Every girl thought the same thing, but Allen, already used to intense stares and provoking people's anger, wasn't affected. He simply changed the subject in his mind and focused on what was coming next. After a moment of thought, he turned to Nami.

"What?"

Nami was puzzled that Allen was suddenly staring at her. However, having already grown used to his eccentric behavior, she decided to ask directly.

"Can you come to my cabin for a moment?"

The girls were surprised, while Nami blushed.

The request itself wasn't anything unusual, but remembering that most of the times she had been there had been to level up made her feel embarrassed.

"W-Why?" Nami asked.

"We're about to face Enel's priests, and since you're the highest-level girl in my crew, I want to try something," Allen said.

Higher level?

Tashigi, Hina, Conis, and Mikita had no idea what Allen meant, but the rest of the girls—including Vivi, who now also knew about "that"—blushed slightly.

Nami looked away in embarrassment, but after noticing the inquisitive gazes of the four girls who didn't know the crew's biggest secret, she grabbed Allen's hand and pulled him toward the cabin.

Allen laughed as he let Nami lead the way.

....

Allen's cabin was no longer an unfamiliar place to Nami.

She had already grown accustomed to its layout, its furniture, Allen's large bed, and even the scent that filled the room.

Even so, she couldn't help feeling nervous. Every time she stepped through the door, she remembered what she had done to her captain.

Nami cleared her throat, gathered her courage, and walked over to the bed before sitting down.

"So... what do you want?" Nami asked shyly.

Was he going to raise her level once again? That would make sense, considering Allen was steadily pulling ahead of the rest of his crew in terms of strength.

"Nami, do you remember why I told you I can't transfer Skills to you?" Allen asked as he sat beside her.

Nami blinked before nodding. "Skills are basically cheating. Thanks to Lenalee, you can use multiple Devil Fruit, racial, and personal abilities without any penalties or conflicts. But that's only because you're linked to Lenalee."

"Right. However, I can transfer physical levels because they're improvements that belong to my own body—my own personal development."

"..."

Nami already knew that, but she waited for Allen to continue. He must have discovered something.

Allen's expression became mysterious.

"You know what I realized? Haki also has a progression system similar to physical strength. In other words..."

"You can give us Haki?!" Nami's eyes widened.

"Bingo!" Allen laughed. "That's exactly what I'd expect from you, Nami!"

Nami's eyes sparkled. By this point, she fully understood how miraculous Haki was.

It was the power to perceive what ordinary human senses could never detect.

It was the power to predict what your opponent would do.

It was the power to strike what normally couldn't be touched.

It was the power to defend yourself against absurd abilities like Devil Fruits.

A power that gave even the most terrifying Logia users a weakness.

"Really?!" Nami exclaimed as she pushed Allen onto the bed, ending up straddling him. "You're not lying, are you?!"

The serious look in her eyes made it clear she wasn't joking. They were about to face God. If there was a way to become stronger, she was willing to do it.

"You... why would I lie to you?" Allen teased. "Although I haven't actually tried it yet, so I don't know how easy it'll be, or whether it'll work the same way as increasing physical levels..."

Nami and Allen remained silent until Nami realized the position they were in. She tried to get up, but Allen wrapped an arm around her waist and stopped her.

The girl wasn't foolish. Just like before, she knew she needed to level up.

Once again, it all began with a kiss—something natural, something familiar—but despite that, it still made Nami's heart race every single time.

For her, his strength, his desire, and his passion were evident from the very first moment.

The taste on Nami's mouth was sweet—perhaps it was just an illusion, but to him it was real; her lips were soft and her tongue delicate.

His hands roamed over the woman's hourglass-shaped body.

Her waist was curvaceous and her skin soft; when Allen's hands moved higher toward her ample breasts, the girl moaned, almost breaking the kiss, but he didn't let her.

His hands kneaded Nami's soft breasts as she writhed, but she wasn't about to be outdone—Nami's hands slipped inside Allen's shirt, touching his chiseled muscles, something she loved to feel.

Allen shifted their position so he was on top, while Nami wrapped her soft legs around his waist, refusing to let him go.

Once the kiss broke, they both pulled apart, leaving a trail of saliva between them. Nami, her face flushed, looked into Allen's eyes with a hint of innocent seduction and anticipation.

Allen didn't disappoint her and took off his shirt, making Nami laugh to hide her embarrassment.

"Is the captain getting impatient?~"

"Oh, it seems I wasn't aggressive enough this time, since you're still able to speak," Allen teased back.

Nami felt embarrassed—last time she could barely get a word out, it was true—but Nami had her pride, so she gave him a defiant look.

"It's my captain's lack of skill~."

Allen narrowed his eyes and ripped off Nami's shirt, exposing her white breasts.

"Kyah!"

Nami was startled, but before she could react, Allen took one of her pink nipples into his mouth; the girl felt a jolt of electricity run through her body as she wrapped her arms around Allen's head.

Soon the room was filled with Nami's moans for ten minutes before she screamed and then collapsed onto the bed.

Allen let go of Nami, who was lying there with her mouth open, seemingly unconscious.

This sight made it hard for Allen to control himself.

'Lenalee, what's the result?'

[A success. In more ways than one, hehe~]

Nami: Navigator

Physical: Level 10

Observation Haki: Level 5

Armament Haki: Level 5

Conqueror's Haki: Not Compatible

Allen was surprised that Nami had reached Physical Level 10 along with everything else.

'Not Compatible?'

[It seems the third type of Haki is special. It can't simply be transferred to anyone...]

Allen understood. Even he could tell that Conqueror's Haki wasn't something ordinary.

When Allen tried to get up, Nami wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Captain, hehe~" Nami smiled foolishly, almost as if she were drunk, acting completely spoiled.

Allen was about to kiss her again after seeing her acting so adorably, but they were already reaching their limit. He had been using his Conqueror's Haki to prevent Enel from spying on them while he was with Nami.

"Nami, we're about to reach Upper Yard, you know."

"...!"

Nami felt as if she'd been hit on the head with a hammer and snapped back to reality. She noticed her position and the fact that she was naked from the waist up, and she was filled with shame—but she reacted like an embarrassed schoolgirl.

She let go of Allen and covered her chest before stepping away.

"Captain, can I borrow one of your shirts?" the girl asked, her face red, but she had already stood up to rummage through Allen's clothes.

When she was done, she turned toward him, feeling a little embarrassed. Wearing her boyfriend's clothes was common among couples, which made Nami feel a sweet warmth in her chest.

"See you later..." Nami said as she left the cabin.

Allen remained where he was, the scent of Nami still lingering in the room. A moment later, he stood up, straightened his bed, and prepared to head outside. After all, the Land of God was already visible ahead of the Black Pearl.

"So..." Allen smiled.

....

The girls watched Allen walk toward the bow.

Several of them felt embarrassed and could barely hide it. Of course, they understood what had happened between him and Nami, but Conis, Hina, Tashigi, and Mikita did not.

Hina looked away, pretending not to notice.

Mikita puffed out her cheeks in jealousy.

Tashigi glared at Allen angrily. They were about to face God, yet this pervert had gone off to spend time with Nami.

As for Conis, she hid her face. Knowing about things like that was simply too much for her.

Allen paid no attention to their reactions. His focus was entirely on Upper Yard, and just as Nami had said, it was solid land rather than cloud islands.

"One... two... three... four..." Allen smiled mockingly. "Well then, it's time to see whether the King of the World can defeat God."
