Chapter 228 - The Liberators

[Sakazuki's POV]

Sore.

Upon opening my eyes, that's how I felt.

And those were good news; I didn't feel the usual wrath, self-disgust and anxiety that I have subjected myself to for the last two decades, maybe even more... because during my most peaceful days, I could still recall uncertainty, anxiety and sadness.

The voices were still there… but I could barely hear them.

I was sore yet pleased, satisfied.

The vivid memories of pleasure from last night so vastly overshadowed those painful memories from the past, that no matter how much embarassing they were, how much I had become someone else's bitch, that outcome was surprisingly more fulfilling than the life I've had until now. Just as I thought, asking him to fuck me into unconsciousness was the right choice.

For the last few moments before he knocked me out… I knew pleasure and peace.

Now, in this room, I heard nothing but the subtle snores at the back of my head. Debauchery gone, back to normalcy... I couldn't help but think and ruminate in the consequences of what we just did.

I didn't just have an affair... I didn't just have 'fun' with Veyron.

I let him have me in ways no man ever has... I let myself be stepped on and claimed.

I even let him cum inside me... a lot of times.

It was like for a moment, I forgot I was the Admiral, Sakazuki Akainu.

Yes...

'I am Saki... at least for him'.

I tried to move out, expecting him to be gone… like every man, always gone once they got what they wanted. But not only couldn't I move, but his snoring next to my ear was evident.

Not only were a pair of arms firmly holding my abdomen, but I could still feel something soft and sloshy inside me.

"T-This brat…" I felt my cheeks go hot and my stomach twist and turn… those annoying butterflies all over again. I had to reject them... I have to reject this feelings; they aren't real.

It is a mere illusion produced by high sexual compatibility.

'O-Or... is it more?'

"V-Veyron…"

He didn't leave.

"Veyron… are you awake?"

He didn't leave me alone.

Hearing no answer, I gulped and began to shift away from his grasp.

'Why…?'

Little by little, I slipped away, taking that huge yet flaccid object out of my wrecked insides with a lot of reluctance. My body didn't want to let go.

'Why am I the one leaving…?'

Even when I tried to not wake him up, his arms held me tightly. It didn't make me feel confined, shackled… it made me feel treasured, secured.

'Why am I trying to leave this behind…!?'

But I kept going. Crawling out until it was almost all out of me.

'Isn't this what I always wanted… to be held like this!?'

...

It is all I ever wanted. It didn't matter if it was in the past, by Marcus... after leaving that hell, or by my parents while I was in that prison... or by anyone after I lost everything.

All I ever wanted was for someone to hold me this closely, this hardly... because I knew I'd try to escape... I wanted someone that wouldn't let me escape. I know this is what I want... I know I have finally found the person, but...

I don't deserve it. I don't deserve him… I don't–

'–deserve a happy ending, someone as disgusting as me… doesn't deserve someone as bright as him… I have to go… before I stain him… before I corrupt him' This voice in my mind didn't sound like mine, but it didn't tell any lies.

"Hmn! Stop moving around, Saki… hummm so annoying"

"..."

I heard him say with a huff between a complaint and a snore. He pulled me back, latching onto my stomach and buried, every… single… inch… back inside me to the point I almost came, eyes rolling back once more, experiencing a flashback from last night.

All my progress was nullified.

After a few moments, his breathing went calm again. I tried to move, but his grasp on me was even stronger than before.

'He won't let me go...' I thought, and the hand that was trying to separate his wrist further helped him embrace me.

I felt my eyes get watery; I felt something piercing yet reassuring in my deepest soul.

'H-He... won't let me go...'

"O-Okay, Veyron..."

I'll stay…

[Veyron's POV]

A beautiful new day flourished for us. More than a day, in fact; I don't know what time it is... but I know I have been sleeping for a long time, and it is time to leave soon. But after our breakthrough in this relationship, I felt like I needed to rely on Saki a bit more... explain my intentions to her.

Not only has my heart changed, I feel like hers has too... and although I can't call this love, I certainly can't call it only lust.

"It is not as easy as you think… to destroy the red line. First, doing it would cause a massive increase in sea level. Most islands would not be able to survive," I explained.

"Uhm".

"I have the firepower but not the disposition. Then at the same time, it's complicated… did you know there is someone sitting at the empty throne?" I asked, looking down at her, trying to be serious.

"Uh-Hmn~"

"You already knew!?"

"Uhm".

"Quite perceptive of you… You should know about the Knights of God since you're an admiral; that knowledge is not classified from you. This person called Imu has complete control over all of them, and… one of them is my lover".

"Uhm-um-um".

"You knew that too!? Wait, I'm not a pervert; she seduced me," I said in outrage. It is true I had the hots for Isabel, but her peeking at me and Gion was completely on her.

"Uhm-um".

"It's not always like that… h-hey… I'm close," I groaned a little bit in pleasure, letting her know.

Sakazuki, who has been sucking me off ever since before I woke up, hastened her efforts until I collapsed in the bed, buckling up my hips and groaning at her suction power.

*Gulp*

*Gulp*

With my heart palpitating furiously, I watched who she had become. Someone who wouldn't detach from me no matter what. I had achieved my objective; I owned her.

But perhaps, I wasn't ready for what Saki's love could look like.

"Let me clean it" she said, once more engulfing me, this time more softly, but still so deliciously.

"Saki... l-let me talk..."

"I am listening".

Rather than pleasing me, rather than serving me... she looked like a meek cat who had just found a new toy and wouldn't let go.

I didn't know if I should find her cute, or be afraid.

After an eventful morning, I peeked my head out of the room and found Amande standing there dutifully.

"About time..." She said seriously, but I could see a bit of blush on her cheeks as she smoked. It made me want to tease her.

"Did you enjoy the show?~"

"I don't know what you're talking about, and are you sure you have the energy to be teasing me right now?"

She had a point; I am too sensitive to get in trouble

"Sure… do you mind getting your hubby some clothes?"

I saw her brows flinch, exhale a mouthful of smoke and turn to me obediently, "What sort of suit do you need? I can go and get it... also, does that slut need some clothes as well?"

"I heard you", Saki muttered from the inside; we could hear the magma, if that was even possible.

"I know you did", Amande smirked.

"Stop antagonising her, Amande... yes, get us two formal suits, please. I will be waiting for you".

"No need to say 'please'... I will do anything you ask me, Veyron".

"..."

I don't know why she's trying to act like a dutiful maid all of a sudden. But I let her go do her task and headed into the shower, where Saki had just gone in. I found her washing up for the 4th or 5th time in five hours.

She beckoned me to come in and sit down, then started washing me.

"You were telling me something about the knights of god".

"I lost my train of thought..."

"That's a pity".

"What are you going to do now?" I asked her, "I can get you a ship to go to the G-8".

"I can return to my post... or I can stay with you a little longer. I can get the Mermaid Princess and send her back home..." She mumbled while scrubbing me. Her beautiful eyes looked at me, "I will do whatever you want".

"... what about your plans?"

"My plans have no meaning now".

"..."

There was no sadness or resignation in her voice, no... there was acceptance and a smile.

"You came so much inside me yesterday..." She pouted; I couldn't help but find her so cute.

"And it felt amazing".

"Glad to hear... but what are we going to do if I get pregnant...? There are no contraceptives here... and it has already been a few hours".

Realistically, I could even fly back to Rusukaina, get the pills, and it would take me less than ten minutes. But I decided just to tell her.

"It is not that easy for me to impregnate someone, Saki".

"W-What do you mean...?"

I sighed, "I have been trying with Hancock, Sandersonia and Marigold... several times a day for years, and we haven't been able to do it".

Although it is not something we have done daily, I have indeed tried a lot to impregnate them before they went on their little adventure. In fact, they went because of my failure.

And it is not only them... Prim and Mihawk, Stussy, Gion...

Even some Skypean nurses... at the time, it was something that I was very worried about, that I felt apprehension about... that I did every possible test. Thinking if the problem wasn't me, then it had to be them.

But I tried with Skypeans, Amazonians, Shandians... there could only be one conclusion: the problem is me.

"I have done several exams on me, Vegapunk has also examined my semen. There seems to be no problem with fertility... and yet I seem to be unable to impregnate someone".

That's also the reason why I so carelessly cum inside any woman I have a relationship with; a part of me has already resigned, I guess. If the issue is not biological, then I don't even know where to start.

"I see... s-so... we only have to keep trying", she muttered.

"Oi..."

Didn't you say you didn't want it like... a few hours ago?

"It reassures me a little", she smiled, "Although if I did happen to be pregnant... it wouldn't have been that bad".

"Really?" I looked at her.

"As long as you are the father", she looked back intently.

I caressed her face, rubbing her lips, "What is it about me that's so good?"

The water cascading on us felt warm, fresh... lovely.

"You are powerful, you are rich... I can shamelessly cling onto you, and my children will have an easy life".

"You..."

She laughed it off and continued to wash me up. I wanted to hope she's teasing me, but this is Sakazuki Akainu we're talking about.

...

Once we came out, Amande had left the clothes there for us alongside a letter that said we were expected at the main palace for brunch.

Sakazuki tied her hair in a ponytail; I couldn't help but be mesmerised at her crimson hair. But she needed a stylist asap. She had a black top, black pants and boots while I had an actual suit. I don't know why Amande chose such disparity in clothes, but I was glad that she at least got Saki's measurements right.

"I don't mind you calling me Saki when it is just the two of us... but remember we have to keep appearances", she uttered while helping me with my tie.

"According to you, what is a good explanation to give to the Big Mom Pirates?".

"They don't need an explanation. Just say I am your woman, leave the answer vague... they will assume I am a spy and that's okay. I want them to be a resource I can use as well".

"What do you think I should have them do?".

"Didn't you think about that?" She tilted her head.

"I wanted them to help me resource the reconstruction of Wano and Dressrosa, as it takes too long for ships to reach here if I am not personally escorting them. It would have been done by Hancock, but I don't want her coming to the New World for the moment..." I said offhandedly.

"Hmn... so you have the Pirate Empress confined?~" She snickered, but I stopped that snicker dead.

"She's not confined; I just don't want her to come to the New World without me, she's free to go anywhere she wants, so long as she doesn't step in the New World".

"And if she were to go to the New World without your permission, what would you do?".

What would I do? What the hell can I even do?

All I can do is act tough in front of her; in reality, I can't stop Hancock in any way... I love her too much for that. I am hoping if I intimidate her a little, she will listen to me... but if she doesn't, what can I do? Shackle her...? I'd rather die.

"Why are you asking this, Saki?"

"I just want to get an idea of how you treat your women".

"Are you disappointed?"

"I am".

I felt a stitch, a needle up my heart.

"You should treat her as roughly as you treat me; the moment she realises how boundless your love is, that is the moment she will become unrestrained", Saki mumbled, pulling me out of the room once we were done.

"If that happens, I will just tame her as I did to you~".

Her entire body shivered, a wave that went from her crotch all the way up; I felt it through her hand.

"Hmph, who did you tame? Don't misunderstand... I am merely trusting you–"

"Yeah yeah whatever Magma-tsundere-san, carry on".

"Shameless brat".

**

The Grand Line, The Country of Alabasta.

The Kuja Pirates were at the outskirts, surrounded by Marine ships that didn't dare to make a move against the Docked Empress. In the main control room of the ship, sitting on her throne, Boa Hancock was deep in thought. Her beauty alone was the energy that fueled the hearts of the Kuja Pirates who stared at her, wondering what thoughts of grandeur were within her mind.

'Hubby... do you miss me?' or are you with another woman...? If so... is she more beautiful than me? hmn... of course not, that's impossible'.

She resisted the urge to laugh like a villainess as her two sisters approached side by side. Sandersonia and Marigold were dressed in casual spring dresses that showcased all their assets. Unlike Hancock, they were taking it easy.

"Is Vivi ready to come?" Hancock asked, "We have been waiting for two days... any longer than that..."

"She has some responsibility as the princess of Alabasta, sister... let's wait a bit more; it is Robin's petition after all", Sandersonia tried to calm her down, but one could tell she wasn't happy either. Marigold looked at both her frustrated sisters and didn't say a word.

A bit annoyed, Hancock sighed and leaned back onto her hand, tapping her finger

"Why do we have to be someone's babysitters...? I could have a ship fleet fetch her on her own..."

"It is because Princess Vivi has a lot of enemies now that Alabasta has left the World Goverment".

"Do not try to make excuses for this, Marigold" Sonia crossed her arms beneath her ample chest. Marigold felt frustrated too. The three of them were in the same wavelength.

'We should be in the New World'.

"By the way, sister... the reason why we came to see you... somebody came to visit, all the way from the Grandline".

"Who is it?" Hancock's brows squinted, wondering why they would even entertain anyone rather than simply sinking their ship.

"He is an infamous rookie; they call them the 'supernovas' because their bounties are absurd considering their pirate career", Sandersonia explained.

"Rookie... let him in", Hancock said with disinterest, thinking they could at least hear what the supernova wanted to say before ending his career.

In came a man with an odd black and white boina, carrying a massive sword, he was alongside a group of people dressed in orange and a talking bear, a bit of a quirky crew.

*RUMBLE!*

A wave of conqueror haki and red lightning was enough for everyone to fall unconscious except for the supernova, Trafalgar Law, who shivered and looked up in amazement at the Empress before him.

"Too many men leering... you are all not qualified to look at us from the start. Nevertheless, I shall entertain you for a minute. What does an ownerless bastard like you have to do with the likes of me?" Hancock was not kind with her words; any man, except for her husband, would get the same treatment even if they were gods themselves.

'So arrogant... but it is justified; after all, she was the one who ended him...'

Trafalgar D. Waterlaw, had never looked so down in his life, but he didn't care, because the person in front of him...

"I read the news. Pirate Empress Boa Hancock, it was you who ended Donquixote Doflamingo, is that right?"

He turned around after reaching so far into the grandline, just because the news that he read had shocked him to the core and he needed to personally come back to look at this woman to the face.

"That is correct, so...? Why are you here?"

He put his head against the ground, kneeling.

"To thank you... deeply".

Hancock's brows widened; she looked at Sandersonia and Marigold, both of whom shrugged, clueless.

"Explain yourself".

"Donquixote Doflamingo and I have a past, an eerie past... I sailed the sea and became a pirate in order to kill him to avenge my benefactor. It seems that wasn't necessary" he looked up, and their eyes met.

"Allow me to join your fleet, Boa Hancock, as an affiliate".

"You... do you even know what you are saying?" she frowned, angry, "Our Kuja Pirates do not admit men!"

"I understand, and I am conscious of that. But my intention is not to join your crew, but to become an ally".

"... y-you".

"A liberator".

!!!

Silence permeated; the rest of the Kuja pirates who were in the room overseeing the conversation all started gossiping immediately.

"Big sister..." Marigold and Sandersonia leaned down and started whispering to their sister, who had kept a poker face.

This was the first time a pirate crew was proactively asking them to join their organisation. Veyron had never prohibited anyone from joining, or ever said what the requirements were... but given the risk of their job, nobody had even asked them this.

Openly going against the world goverment. At mere sight, an Admiral could be sent to capture them... a Buster Call could be called to destroy their island of residence. In any case, their wanted posters were more likely to say 'dead' than 'dead or alive'.

It was not the sort of heat that any pirate wanted to get subjected to.

"Do you understand the repercussions of what you're asking for, boy? This whole world will become your enemy" Hancock didn't outright refuse him, after all, this is exactly what her husband wanted.

For more people to join their cause. He hadn't stipulated any requirements, but she felt the need to at least make it clear to anyone interested.

Their lives were at risk at every moment. Even now, they were surrounded by marine vessels, vigilant.

...

He didn't say anything for a while, but still recalled how, when he arrived in the perimeter of the Kuja, there were dozens of marine ships nearby. Yet none dared to make a move.

These were the Liberators. Each member was so devastatingly strong... that the Marines, the Cyper Pol and even the World Nobles themselves did not dare to act rashly.

Boa Hancock, Amazon Lily and the Kuja Pirates, despite not being a Yonko officially, were not far from one in terms of strength or bounty.

Dracule Mihawk, the Strongest Swordswoman, was a monster in her own right, a yonko-level threat... no further description needed.

Ex-Warlord Crocodile already had an infamous reputation before his affiliation with the organisation became public; now even more so.

The Demon Child Nico Robin had been a thorn in the foot of the World Goverment as a weakling; after it was reported that she managed to hold her own against Admiral Aokiji, the days in which the pirates in the world thought she was an easy prey were over.

Lastly, the Leader, Lightning God Dracule Veyron, for most, he was a mysterious character. Some even thought it was an exaggeration to call him 'God', to give him a bounty even greater than what the legendary Gold Roger, the Pirate King, ever had. Very few had personally seen him in action, but what they had seen was the leftovers of his destruction.

This man, alone, was the reason why the Liberators could act so unhindered as an independent force. Despite the presence of the Fleet Admiral Sengoku, the Four Admirals, Ten Vice Admirals, and the most prominent agents of the Cypher Pol, all in the same place. That Island still disappeared.

He wasn't only strong; he was a walking disaster ready to be unleashed at any time. A disaster no one wanted to upset, because it could mean your island would directly disappear from the map, as Ennies Lobby did.

...

They were the publicly acknowledged members, but everybody was well aware Dracule Veyron had ties to all major powers in the world, and more than likely a lot of spies in several organisations.

'If I can join them... it is not a bad position at all', Law thought.

Would their times in the sea be harder? More than likely, but at the same time he'd have access to endless resources that only the likes of the Liberators could offer, compared with being an independent pirate.

"Dracule Veyron, he–".

*RUMBLE!*

Without even looking at her straight, Law felt his legs start to turn into stone.

"How dare you mention my husband's name so casually?!"

"Big sis, calm down... you're going too far".

"It is normal for people to mention little brother..."

Marigold and Sandersonia looked at Law, exasperated, trying to calm down Hancock. When it came to Veyron... it was difficult for them to tell if it was her husband, or her God. Perhaps for Hancock... he was both.

"I am a doctor, a very good one, dare I say... at any point during his war with the World Goverment, my assistance may come in handy".

"A doctor...?"

"Yes".

Hancock looked at him up and down; she blushed all of a sudden, and her sisters somehow knew what she was going to ask.

"Do you have experience... dealing with infertility?"

Law was momentarily stumped by the question; he looked at the gorgeous Boa Hancock, her question, and somehow put all the pieces together.

"I do. However, whether it be to send me to the Grandline, or to have me stay on his island as a doctor... I do not care. But I have one condition".

"You still think you can put conditions... go ahead and say it" Hancock felt it was outrageous, but only because he said he could help, she was willing to listen.

"I want to fight the celestial dragons directly. With my own two hands, with my sword... I want to make a mess out of them" Law spoke with a lot of blood thirst, enough to drown the ship.

Hancock felt his thirst for blood and smiled.

After all, he knew where that monster came from... Donquixote Doflamingo, as well as his benefactor, Corazon, had been celestial dragons.

Hancock stood up gracefully and walked out of the room. Before leaving completely, she stopped for a second.

"I am not the leader of the Liberators; I am merely my husband's aide. Our task is precise, and the principle of our organisation is loyalty; we can't just allow anyone that asks us in... but given your ambitions, I will give you a chance and mention your name in front of my husband. I will also tell him about your proficiency as a doctor and your capabilities".

She turned around, "Don't think for a moment your life will be easy with us, boy... but if what you wish is for their disgusting blood to flow".

She smiled, "You're in the right place".

Law smiled as well; by the time she walked out of the room, his legs were back to normal, and his crew was starting to wake up.

"In the meantime, we can exchange den den mushi addresses. We will contact you, Trafalgar Law" Sandersonia said to him then she and Marigold followed Hancock back to her room, giving orders to the rest of the pirates to send Law on his way.

"Thank you. Let's go, bastards! we're done here!"

"Yes, captain!"

...

In her room, Hancock stepped in and looked at herself in the mirror before she blushed and her face contorted into a smile.

"As expected from Danna-sama~ it won't be long before we have powerhouses requesting to join our forces!~"

Someone had finally requested to join them, and she felt proud of her husband. If not for having him as an umbrella, no sane man in this world would want to become a Liberator.

'I wonder what he's doing right now. I miss him so much... but he hasn't even called me in a whole day... c-could it be... he doesn't love me anymore?'

Her mind started to wander, as always.

"Big sis".

"Sonia, Mari..."

"Have you thought about what we discussed?".

Hancock frowned and avoided her sister's gaze.

"I am not going to upset hubby in any shape or form".

Sandersonia hugged her sister from behind, pressing her against her chest, Hancock pouted and refused to look at her.

"But you know paradise is so boring... if we can't go to the new world, we will lose all our progress and even mother-in-law might overtake us with her crew".

"B-But after what happened... I can't convince hubby; he is determined not to let us go!".

Hancock wanted to go to the new world as much as them, but she was guilty.

'What if it happens again? If we get caught again... or if we make a mistake and hubby is forced to save us? How am I going to look at him in the face?'

The incident was a heavy blow to her confidence.

"As long as we give him a very good apology gift, we can convince him!" Marigold was hopeful; she knew Veyron for a long time, just like they all did... and she knew he was not the type to force his will on them.

'As his lover... I can also be a bit selfish, right?' She thought.

"But what can we give him…?"

Sandersonia and Marigold racked their brains. It is not that they didn't know what he liked... it is just that everything Veyron wanted... he already had.

"Must be something for his Labouratory–"

"Mari, Sonia… I will deal with it".

Hancock said, determinedly.

"Big sis!?"

"I think I have an idea of how to convince him… but I must do it alone".

"..."

Both snakes somehow felt how things were going to turn out, and although they felt a bit jealous, they decided to accept it. If it was for the sake of sailing back in the New World.

Not too long after, at the shores of the island, a sky-blue-haired beauty dressed in a beautiful Egyptian dress walked by, waving at them and carrying her entire life with her, all her backpacks, all her things.

She was going to move.

Starting today, she wasn't going to be Princess Nefertari D. Vivi... she would only just be Vivi, a member of the Liberators. Someone who, in the future, would make a name for herself as well.

With a few movements of her fingers, tendrils coiled around her and her bags and soon she landed on top of the Kuja's main ship, a bit too roughly for comfort.

*BAANG!*

"OUCH!"

"Are you okay, princess!?"

"Sorry, I can't control this power properly yet" Vivi rubbed her butt and sighed, "Where is Lady Hancock"

"Please come this way. Everyone, we have Princess Vivi, get ready to sail back to Rusukaina!"

At the shore of the island, there were a bunch of officials alongside a huge bird that were crying, saying her farewell to Vivi.

"Karoo! I swear I will come back for you! Just let me get a big stronger. Dad, I promise!" Crying, Vivi said, "I swear we will never have a drought again!"

"I trust you, my daughter; please be well".

Hancock came out to the deck soon after; the main fleet ship passed by the Vice Admiral's vessel. Hancock stared at the man on the other side.

"I don't think I have to say anything, Momonga... but you know what will happen if you so much as touch this island, right?".

"Is that a threat–"

"It is..."

*RUMBLE!*

In less than a second, half of the vessel had turned into stone, beginning to sink.

"Boa Hancock!"

"That's for looking at me inappropriately, trash".

...

Hancock took a glimpse at the faraway Horizon next to her sisters and Vivi.

The Light of the Liberators promised a new dawn for this world.

Looking to the side, she couldn't help but think about the stories they had heard from Robin.

Lili, the ancestor of Amazon Lily, was also a Nefertari, which meant she was a distant relative of the sky-blue-haired princess standing next to her. Instinctively, Hancock took a handful of Vivi's silky hair.

"Lady Hancock...?".

With a bit of focus, she tried to turn it into stone, but was unable to.

Hancock frowned, "Are you sure you don't want to join my Kuja Fleet, Vivi?"

The princess stared at her awkwardly, bowing in deep apology, "I am very sorry, Lady Hancock, but... Robin-san is my eternal benefactor; I want to fight alongside her!"

Hancock sighed and let go of her hair.

"If that's what you wish, who am I to stop you? Kuja! Onwards to Rusukaina!"

"Yes, Captain!".

...

For her part, Vivi couldn't help but look forward to the future... a future in which she would no longer be weak, it would take hard work, it would take effort, but it was possible.
