[Veyron's POV]
"I have spent most of my time hidden in this castle, so... excuse me if you find me a bit dull and boring, Veyron-sama".
"Not at all! Besides, I am your fiancée, you can just call me Veyron, Shirahoshi, there is no need for the -sama".
"T-That... it is a bit embarassing".
"Why is that?~ Do you like me that much?".
"Uwuu, I don't know".
With our compromise confirmed, and after enjoying ourselves at the banquet and spending time with her parents and the nobles, Shirahoshi and I went to her room to spend some time together in private. She was officially my fiancée. As for when the marriage would be? Once she became an adult, I would marry her.
Her room was massive, as expected, her gigantic Shark went to sleep in a corner, and she lay down on her bed, putting me on her stomach to banter and flirt for a bit before it was time to go. I didn't want to go right away; I wanted to spend some time with her and get to know her better.
Shirahoshi was so happy with the compromise and shy, it was too fun to tease her.
"Hehe, I am sorry for taking so long, you must have waited quite a bit", I apologised since her parents already told me about giving her to me for a long time... it was me who delayed, and that may have conveyed the wrong message.
"I wasn't! I knew you'd come," She said confidently.
"Oh, so you're aware you're the most beautiful little treasure in this world".
"Veyron-sama, if you say those things, I don't know what to do!"
Shirahoshi was a blubbery mess; she didn't know how to flirt or banter, but she knew she was interested in the boy in front of her, me. As a result, that made it easy for me to tease her; it didn't matter what I told her.
In a way, I saw myself in her... a few years ago, when I was with my mom, I was also a mess whenever she made subtle comments and approached me. That time, I didn't think I was qualified to be with her, the same way Shirahoshi thinks she's not worthy of me, she's so wrong!
"Veyron-sama, can I ask you a question?".
"Hmn, what is it?".
"How old are you?".

"E-Eh, ummm", I scratched my head awkwardly. This is the damn question that always puzzles me.
"Because you look so young and yet you are so powerful..." She fidgeted, "It gives me the impression that you're a lot older than it looks".
"Well, you see, we are actually not that far apart. You are fourteen, and I am sixteen" I smiled, thankfully, the difference is not that abysmal, or I would feel more of a criminal than what I already feel.
It doesn't help that Shirahoshi doesn't have the body of a fourteen-year-old girl. I don't know what kind of food fish eat to grow quickly... but Shirahoshi has been having too much of it.
"Really! There is no way you are that young, Veyron-sama!"
Hearing I was in her age range may have made her a bit less anxious.
"Why do you think that? Do I look old?" I said, a bit downcast.
"No! It is just... You are so grown up and strong... and you are married too... so you give me the feeling of someone who has already lived so much... compared to me, I don't even know if I am a good match for Veyron-sama".
I sighed and approached her, standing right in front of her cute face, caressing her soft cheeks even as she blushed in fluster.
"Life comes at you fast when you are strong, that's true. Does that make you like me any less?"
"No! Absolutely no, I love–" she covered her mouth quickly.
"You love what?~"
"NOTHING!"
She evaded my gaze, but I forced her to look at me, an action that made her skip a beat, "If the most beautiful mermaid in the world is not qualified for me, who is? You are perfect, Shirahoshi, and no one in Fishman Island doesn't consider you a treasure. Have a bit more confidence in yourself, alright? Besides... I wouldn't have come all the way here for you if I didn't want you".
"Do you want me?" Her voice was barely audible, and I could barely see her eyes, but I felt my heart skip a beat as well. As expected of a mermaid, their charm is on another level.
"I do~".
"..."
For a second, she remained silent, her fishtail wiggling around, in a way that was more than cute, looking dangerous considering she could shatter a small tower with it.
"S-Say, Veyron-sama... this height difference... do you... not mind it?"
"Hmmmm".
'How can I explain to her how much I like it without sounding like a pervert...?' I thought, the more I looked at her... the more I wanted her. Sure, there was a SIGNIFICANT difference in height, considering she was even bigger than Sandersonia and Marigold.
One Piece anatomy rules were a bit wild.
For me, taller women were quite unique, especially not the ones that were only tall like Hancock, but those whose height was just ridiculous in comparison. I have so much fun fuc-*cough* playing with Sandersonia and Marigold, doing a lot of.... things... that I am sure it won't be a problem with Shirahoshi either.
Nevertheless, I can understand why she feels it is an issue.
"Hmn... well, you have seen Sandersonia and Marigold, right?"
"Yes, but compared to me they're..."
Forget the height, she also couldn't help but look at her fishtail and my human legs.
"We are... different", She said dejectedly, "Even though I like you so much, Veyron-sama, we are very different".
She was so depressed that she didn't notice that she just said she likes me.
"That doesn't matter, Shirahoshi... I think you're absolutely gorgeous, innocent... precious. I want to marry you," I patted her head however I could and added, "People like each other in different ways. In my case, what I like the most about you is how pure-hearted you are... I guess I have to thank your parents for that, because they kept you so secluded... you couldn't see the evil of this world".
"But being unaware of the evil of this world, isn't it something bad...?" she asked, downcast.
"It is not, it is something very noble. It is only good for you to know just so you can protect yourself from it, Shirahoshi. But I will be the one to protect you...I know your kindness, so long as I protect it, is going to impact the lives of millions of people~".
For a long time, she didn't say anything to me, merely relished on my headpats.
"Thanks, Veyron-sama... If you still want me despite everything, I won't disappoint you" She blushed madly. I am sure I am right on this. If there is anyone who can make this world a kinder place, it is this very mermaid in front of me.
We lost each other in our eyes, and without even asking for permission, she picked me up. Then she planted a kiss on my cheek, although it was a bit funny since her lips were so massive... she technically had to kiss my whole body.
"Please take care of me in the future. I-I promise I will be a good wife and love you with everything I have, V-Veyron".
She somehow managed to remove the -sama, although it was obvious she didn't want to. I smiled and thought it was a bit sad that we'd separate so quickly after this... even if I spent a whole day here, it didn't feel like it was enough. I'd come back home to get in the lab after my journey and then...? When would we see each other again?
"I like that... say, do you want to come with me to the surface?" I was surprised by how the words came out of my lips, almost without my permission. Had I become too used to always having someone with me? Or did I just like Shirahoshi a bit too much?
"E-Eh?! Now?" Her eyes shone in brilliance at the prospect of a trip out of the sea.
I nodded, "I have to go to the New World. I wouldn't mind if you came with me, it wouldn't be lonely... and I'll protect you".
"I CAN GO TO THE SURFACE!?".
She was excited, swam around her room happily, "I can go and see the sun?!"
"Yes, I will take you~".
"B-But I have to ask mom and dad for permission".
"We will".

"Will it be safe-jamon?"
Of course, her father was worried. But Otohime wasn't, and she pinched her husband's big arm with a pout.
"Just let her go, Neptune!".
"I have to be sure-jamon! It is Shirahoshi's first time out of the island-jamon".
"Don't worry, Neptune... I will make sure nothing happens to Shirahoshi, ever" I put my fist on my chest. "I won't let her out of my sight for long. Also, I have plans for my Shirahoshi. I will give her something just so she can defend herself".
"I know I can trust you. If there is anyone in this world that can keep her safe... it is you".
I nodded, and we somehow stretched arms; that was likely the point from which he really entrusted his daughter to me.
"I also wanted to talk to you about something", I said to him and looked at Otohime, who tilted her head cutely.
"What is it-jamon?".
"If you still wish to go to the surface, that's possible".

"I can move this island to the Grandline, although I still plan to leave the Island underwater, I'll make it so it is not so far away from the surface. So when anyone here wants to go, they can easily go... but we have to talk about legislation and everything because, in the meantime, I would not allow fishmen to go to any island aside from the ones under my jurisdiction".
Having the island under the water in the calm belt was an issue. Right now, aside from the protective bubble method to reach the fishman island, which was installed in Sabaody, there is no way for ships or anyone else to go underwater. The island would be as safe underwater as it would be high into the skies. Only because it is close to the surface, the Fishman People would be able to freely go to the surface.
I can't guarantee or be responsible for what every fishman does in the surface. Imagine for example, that a group of fishmen go to the surface and assault a human town the same way Arlong did, I'd have to be responsible for it... That's why it is better to prohibit them from going out of the boundary.
Neptune and Otohime looked at one another, then, to my surprise, they knelt down. As if that was not enough, Shirahoshi and her siblings followed!
"What are you doing you two!? You're my in-laws, stand back up now!"
Differences in strength were not important; these are my elders.
"Our status and the fact that you are our god are two different things. If that is the decision you have come to, we will respect it, Veyron... we know you have the best for our island in your mind and we would absolutely love that arrangement!" Otohime rejoiced, "Do you know how long I have tried...? Hoping to get such an outcome!?"
My mother-in-law almost teared up while hugging me. I cuddled her back but explained something very key: "There is one problem with that, though. This island is still the resting spot for millions of ships, be it pirates or not, that travel across the red line. If this island were to disappear, it would leave all the ships disoriented, and it would make it a lot more difficult for those travels to occur from paradise to the new world".
Immediately, Otohime flinched... it seems they never considered this.
"You are right, Fishman Island is also the place where their bubbles are refilled with air to prepare for their ascension" The minister of the right mumbled in contemplation, "Although we are not obligated to assist with this endeavour, we have done so for centuries..."
"Yes. So, I was thinking... rather than moving this Fishman Island from this location, why not create another fishman Island? If anyone wants to move there, I will make it possible".
"EH!?" They all looked at me in shock, "Create a-another island, is that even possible?".
"C-Can that be done-jamon?" Neptune was incredulous, even for me; creating an island sounded ridiculous. He must have forgotten I made my islands fly. I could easily destroy them. Why wouldn't I be able to create one?
"Of course it can, I can do it, and it will be very quick too," I puffed out my chest, manning up. The truth is... yeah, I can do it, but it won't be quick!
"Veyron, that's amazing!" Shirahoshi looked so proud that her fiancé could achieve this. I broke a sweat and smiled back. Yes, darling... it will be done, even if I have to make Crocogirl and all my pets work like slaves and without a break.
"First name basis, huh?" Otohime giggled, teasing her daughter while Neptune resisted the urge to plunge me with his trident.
"Mom! Uwu, don't tease me!" Shirahoshi fled the scene as her family laughed.
"She likes you quite a bit, Veyron-sama" Fukaboshi smiled.
"Thankfully, I want her to be happy with me. In any case, regarding our earlier conversation, I will leave it up to you".
"Then let's not waste time, son-in-law. To create that second island, please tell us what you need from us, and we will get it sorted!~" Otohime was too much into it.
"We don't really need anything. I will talk to Prim and let her know she can start the project on my behalf, okay? Once the island is done, the Kuja will personally come fetch people to live in it... they can choose to live here or on the surface... regardless, I will protect all of you, that's my duty".

We spent an hour discussing possibilities, about the potential this new island was going to have and about how much Otohime worked trying to convince the world goverment of this possibility, unfruitfully.
In the end, she was very grateful that she was rejected by the world government because now, she can accept my proposal, which is a lot better and more promising. Even if they joined the reverie, they didn't have the assurance that the marine could protect this island.
But they were completely certain I could.
"C-Can I hug you?" Otohime asked me amidst tears.
"Mother-in-law, of course you can".
I embraced her quite tightly. Otohime was gorgeous, but also very motherly. She gave me this unfathomable motherly aura... perhaps, if Mihawk had been this doting and sweet in our earlier days together.... we wouldn't have developed our current relationship.
"Thank you... thank you..."
"It's okay, anything for my in-laws~".

[3rd POV]
While her maids prepared everything she needed for her journey, Shirahoshi carried Veyron to give him a tour around the Island, showing him the most interesting tourist spots, points of interest, even showing him places where he could create a laboratory for himself, a workshop, or whatever he wanted to do on their island.
For all intents and purposes, she was an ambassador. Although she didn't know much about anything outside the island, she knew the island like the palm of her hand.
Veyron noticed that, even though she was taking him places, she seemed to be deliberately avoiding the spots where mermaids concentrated.
"What about that place, Shirahoshi? There are a lot of people there–".
"L-Let's not go over there".
Veyron looked at her. He was sitting on her back while she sat on her big shark, Megalo.
"Hmn, why can't we go there?~ I thought you were showing me spots of interest, if there are so many people there, isn't that a spot of interest".
"But it is mostly mermaids in there, so... I don't think Veyron needs to see that, besides... there are so many more beautiful places!" She said 'joyfully', but her fluster was evident. As if to accentuate how he shouldn't be looking at other mermaids, she took him and put him within her huge cleavage, squished by softness and warmth.
No voice of complaint was raised, "Oh, why though? I wanted to meet other mermaids~".
"Why is that?" She asked, curious but feeling an umconfortable itch in her stomach when he said that.
Veyron realised that she was way too innocent to tease, "I am joking, Hoshi... I don't want to meet any other mermaids, you are the only one for me".
"I-Is that so, huff huff?" She puffed her huge chest out in pride. It could only be that... since she already knew Veyron liked big women, then he had to like her the most, considering she's the biggest mermaid out there.
"Yes, no one beats my little star" Veyron wanted to pat her head, but that was impossible.
'I need to do something about this...'
It wouldn't be a problem now since they were in the rather heartwarming stage of their relationship, but... this size difference was going to be a problem in the future. Thankfully, he had a solution.
"We may have to go back to my labouratory before heading to the new world" He mumbled lightly.
"That's okay, I want to see where you live!~"
"I will show you Rusukaina, there are actually a lot of huge animals there, I know you will love it~".

They travelled to the old gyojin district, the slums of the island where the pirates did their shady deals. There, they met Tiger and Jimbe.
"Oh, the prince and the princess together!"
"You better take good care of the mermaid princess, Dark Mantle".
While some congratulated him, some cursed his guts with jealousy. It seemed like every flower in this world was fated to belong to one man. Now, the Mermaid Princess who was rumoured to be the most beautiful creature in the world, had fallen into his clutches.
And she looked so eager to fall into his clutches too!

The time of departure came, Shirahoshi was most sad to part with her shark megalo than anything else. There were a lot of tears, a lot of cries... Neptune, Otohime and Veyron sighed.
"Little Hoshi, it is not like you're going away for too long... besides, next time we can take Megalo with us".
"Megalo!"
"Sharky!"
It took a while before the mermaid separated from her loyal shark. Before the departure, someone called Veyron off.
"Lightning God," a sweet voice said, earning the attention of both him and Shirahoshi. Immediately, Shirahoshi grew defensive, grasping Veyron harder against her chest, much to his amusement.
"It is okay, princess~ I am not going to steal your mate," the newcomer said, giggling, though her words were a bit dishonest... When her eyes settled on Veyron, there was interest.
"Madam Shyarly" Even Neptune knew who the individual was. She was a mermaid, but her bottom fish tail, rather than a fish, was that of a shark. Veyron thought she looked sexy, but more than sexy, very cool.
"It is nice to see you again. I remember you briefly, Madam" Veyron recalled her from his last visit before heading to Dressrosa. For what she knew, not only was she a famous 'seer' but she was also Arlong's sister, shocking.
"It is an honour to be remembered by a God" She bowed down humbly, but her bow fell a bit short considering she was also a big mermaid like Shirahoshi, only... a lot smaller.
"People call me Lightning God, but I am not really a God", He said.
"Those who have the authority to command the elements are Gods, regardless of whether they perceive themselves as mortals. I can see... the Lightning heeds your call, Dracule Veyron, regardless of where you are, it shall lean towards you and follow your command. This connection transcends a mere devil fruit; it has become a spiritual tie between you and the element. As you are now the man who will lead our island to a bright future, I shall trust your judgement... whenever you need counsel, I am available for you~".
Shirahoshi puffed her cheeks but didn't say a word. The nobles and ministers were surprised that the beligerent shark was behaving very submissively.
"That being the case. What can you see about my relationship with Shirahoshi, Shyarly? Do you think it will be a happy marriage?".

The mermaid princess flustered, waved her hands in embarassment trying to stop him from saying shameful words in public, but everyone laughed instead, listening attentively.
The shark lady stared at them both, then smiled warmly.
"Although I see a path rigged with tribulations, I can see huge growth fated for the princess. I see wars, battles... but I see you both standing together. I don't think the Princess could have possibly attained a better prince".
Veyron gasped; he was expecting her to say something like a 'happy ever after', but rather, she mentioned struggle. There would be wars, there would be a lot of fights, but in all of them, Shirahoshi would be by his side.
Just like Mihawk, Primrose, Hancock, Robin, Marigold, Sandersonia, Gion, Stussy... even Isabel. He planned for Shirahoshi and for Viola to have a role... He didn't want flowers; he wanted partners... and he believed those were capable.
While watching the jealous Shirahoshi, he couldn't help but be mesmerised, 'I wouldn't have come this far for just a flower... from the moment you took a million volts discharge and survived, from that moment I wanted you, Shirahoshi'
"I like your words, thank you, Shyarly", He said, heartfelt, because she just predicted what he had planned for Shirahoshi... she wouldn't be just a flower by his side.
"I am of service. ANYTHING you need, you can ask me, and I shall deliver, Lord God~".
"He doesn't need your help, hum!".
Shirahoshi didn't even say a word; she took Veyron and jumped off to the sea with her beloved... her beloved whom she had no intention of sharing with another mermaid. He could have a lot of lovers, but only one mermaid!
In front of this, Shyarly took her pipe and smoked a huff before laughing off.
"How truly jealous I am of their fate. Their adventure... it is going to be so glorious~".

Shirahoshi stepped out of the bubble that covered Fishman Island. She'd usually come back inside in less than ten minutes, but... this time it was different. She stared at the wilderness of the ocean, the darkness of it... once the roots of the adam tree were gone, there was only darkness.
In her impulsiveness, she stepped out without a plan, almost forgetting she was not alone.
"What are you afraid of...? I am here~" as expected, his reassuring words came. Before she knew, her body began to move on its own.
"Do you want to swim or should I take us faster?" He asked her.
"I want to swim! I think I know the way".
"Then I'll leave it up to you, my princess".

"C-Count on me, my prince".
'Oh, she's answering back now' Veyron smirked, it hasn't even been two days and Shirahoshi is already starting to change. Even if reluctant, even if flustered at her own words. She's already starting to realise who she is.
'The most beautiful creature in this world'.
Being showered with love by the man she considered to be the most perfect man, the princess was bound to grow a backbone.
'I can't allow him to just tease me continually! Mom, I won't disappoint you! I will make Veyron-sama fall in love with me completely, and we will have a lot of children!'

Unbeknownst to her, Veyron, who was in her cleavage, covered by a bubble, allowed her to do all the work. If at any point there was danger, he'd help.
They spoke about a lot of things, mostly Shirahoshi recalling her experiences in Fishman Island as well as her expectations for the surface.
"I was trying to tell your mother, but the surface world is not as pretty as she thinks. Humans are wicked... I wouldn't want for all of you to be subjected to the nonsense of humans".
Shirahoshi thought the topic was a bit mature, but she didn't lag behind.
"B-But, if that is the case, aren't there evil gyojin too? One of them tried to kill my mom, another one was stalking me... and there is a lot of crime in the old gyojin district... w-wouldn't that mean that we fishmen and humans aren't much different?".
"..." Veyron looked at her and smiled, this smile captivated her yet again.
"You're right, we have a lot of things alike. I am not saying you are weak and can't protect yourselves. I am talking about a more sistemic threat... I am talking about humans belittling and ganging up against you guys... I would never allow that".
"I know you will protect us~".
It was his time to blush, at her cheer confidence in him. Seeing this, Shirahoshi gained ground, stopped her swimming and picked him up.
"Did you blush?".
"W-Why did you stop?!"
"Did you blush, my prince?~"
"I didn't!"
"You did~"
"I didn't!"
"I just saw it~"
"No, you're seeing things".
"I am not~".
Eventually he fell silent, unable to believe the Shirahoshi who couldn't even call him by his name a few hours ago, was now trying to get the uperhand in their banter at every opportunity.
'They grow up so quickly...'
As their banter continued, he noticed her speed was decreasing after the hundred metres. Shirahoshi was already commendable to be able to swim with the huge pressure they were being subjected to.
"Are you tired?" He asked, worried.
"Yes, but... I can continue, allow me to continue!" She insisted.
"Why are you so insistent...?"
"I want to be useful too!"
"Shirahoshi, you don't need to worry about being useful, you just have to look beautiful for me and make me happy–".
"But you have done so much for us, Veyron. I want to help somehow!"
Veyron frowned, 'We haven't even been engaged for two days, and we're already having an argument'
He caressed her humongous face somehow, "It is okay if you feel like you want to replay a favour... but I don't want you to love me as repayment".
"N-NO! That's absolutely not the case! I love you because you are cool, and handsome and beautiful and strong and... and..."
"Eh~ so you love me".
Shirahoshi's exalted face transformed into a tomato and she screamed in outrage, "I AM NOT TALKING TO YOU ANYMORE!".
She threw Veyron away to the currents and turned around in shame. He couldn't help but smirk and 'fly' back to her.
"Look at me~"
"No", she turned to the other side.
"Look at me~".
"Nu-uh!"
"Look at me over here, my princess"
"No! You will just keep teasing me".
"Can't deny that".
He came up to her face, took her chin awkwardly, mesmerised by her cuteness. Then, he pecked her lower lip.
"E-Eh!"
"I am glad you have those feelings for me. If you want to be useful, you can, I am not going to complain... but you don't need to stress yourself or work too hard, do things at your own pace, Shirahoshi".
"Umm~"
She then kissed his face a few times. Whether it was a kiss on the lips or a kiss on... the forehead...? he would never know.

After a bit of a rest, she recovered. Her swimming speed was fast. They met a few sea monsters along the way, way bigger than even Shirahoshi, but they were blasted away before they could even get too close. He noticed that the Sea Kings, for some reason, stayed away from Shirahoshi.
Finally, as they approached the surface, the sea started to gain some light and beauty.
"It's almost there!" She screamed in joy, holding him in her chest as they approached the promised surface dawn back in Paradise. A few more metres away and finally...
*SPLASH!*
They came out of the water, the mermaid, in all her splendour, shot into the skies with momentum as the dew of the water, alongside the light of the sun, portrayed a beautiful rainbow that made Veyron fall in love once more. She flew for several seconds, seconds in which the time seemed to stop as she placed her pearl eyes into that huge ball of flames in the sky for the first time in her promised long life.
Soon, she fell back into the water alongside Veyron, whose eyes were glued on her.
Shirahoshi opened her eyes to see the blue sky, the white clouds, the surface of the sea looking like it separated two completely different worlds.
"This is... so beautiful..."
'Not as beautiful as you...' He thought, aghast. How could such a gorgeous creature exist in this world? It was only then that he thought, for the briefest of moments, that it was unfair, perhaps even outrageous, that someone else would be able to glance at this beauty that belonged to him.
The thoughts of 'locking her away' surfaced, but just as quickly... they were destroyed.
How could such a free beauty be shackled? How could someone who looked at the sun for the first time in her life, being so enthralled by it, be shackled back into a room? He couldn't and wouldn't do it.
"I will show you everything this world has to offer, Shirahoshi".
He said, earning her attention. The mermaid looked at him and smiled joyfully, "As expected, compared to the Sun, Veyron-sama is the most beautiful~".
"Eh?"
She took him and put her fiancé on top of her head, "Where are we going, left, right, up, down...? I want to see everything!"
Only the faint shadow of the red line was visible; other than that? endless water, clouds and the sun... an infinite free world.
"We were originally going straight to the New World, but I want to go back to my laboratory to give you a gift. So, it's up to you, my princess... do you want a slow journey or a fun and fast journey?"
"Fun and fast?~"
"Fun and fast~"
"I want that!"
"Okay, so... I hope you're ready for this~".
He levitated both of them, and then, it was time for the mermaid princess to panic in a mixture of emotions. She didn't say a word to him; she only noticed her huge body levitate out of the water and into his small, comical arms.
"E-Eh?!"
"Allow me to carry you to our destination, my princess~".
*WHOOSH!*
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"
*BOOMMM!*
They broke the sound barrier quickly enough. Eventually, Shirahoshi stopped screaming. He only hoped she didn't faint.
"This is amaziiiiingggg!!!! Veyron-samaaaa!!!" She screamed with her arms extended, seeing the world go past her, just like a flying fish. He sighed in relief, 'It would be sad if my fiancée faints on our first date'.
As we flew through the air and the fish took the experience of flight for the first time, we looked rather comical... I mean, I was a small man carrying a gigantic mermaid in the sky as we flew.
But she enjoyed it... and that's what matters.
"Veyron-sama, what is that?!"
She looked at a particular place far away within the Florian triangle. From that spot, one could see a column of light go far into the sky from underwater. It was a white lightning bolt.
"Oh, that place... that used to be called Ennies Lobby, it was an island belonging to the World Goverment".
"Incredible! That lightning bolt looks so beautiful".
"T-Thanks", I blushed, first time somebody calls that pile of destruction 'beautiful', it may look like that from afar, but up close... it is not beautiful at all.
We also flew past Impel Down before heading for Rusukaina. I increased altitude until we were above the skies. Shirahoshi looked at the clouds beneath her that resembled a different sea from what she knew.
"There are layers to this world..." She said, and I nodded.
Once the Island was within sight, I knew we had to do this quickly... thanks to Isabel and now Shirahoshi, I am late on my schedule, so I'll just get what I came here to get to give it to her and go.
"Is this Veyron-sama's home?"
Rusukaina was an island of skyscrapers in the forest. There were elevators that would take people from the platforms back to the sea and up the island. In the skies, nobody could touch my precious islands.
"Yes, this is Rusukaina. I own three Islands: Rusukaina, Amazon Lily and Skypea... I also own Kuraigana, but that one is not in the skies, it is... a deserted island I use for testing purposes".
"Remember, you own Fishman Island too, Veyron-sama" She fidgeted with pride.
"You have been using the -sama for a while now, Shirahoshi... how am I going to punish you for this?~" I teased her once more. Punishment? There was no man in this world heartless enough to punish this girl. And if there were... they'd better cease to exist.
"Punishment...?" The mermaid pouted, her tail wiggled, "I am sorry, Veyron..."
"It is okay, as long as you know... once you're my wife, you can't be calling me -sama, so get used to it".
"Hai..." She nodded with a deep blush, probably thinking a lot of husband and wife thoughts, her fish tail wiggled even more all of a sudden, "and... what is the punishment going to be?".
"I will think about it", I answered, not paying much attention to the whole punishment thing since it was just a joke.
Little did I know, it was not a joke for Shirahoshi.

Once we arrived at the outside of my laboratory, the back gate, we had a bit of an issue.
"I-I can't fit!"
Shirahoshi didn't fit inside the gate!
