Linoshi acted like a demure girl from a humble family, her head lowered; one look and you could tell she was the fragile type.
Moreover, Vegeta and the others were still young—the oldest, Nappa, was only in his teens. At an age where they were obsessed with fighting, it would be a wonder if they were interested in her.
"Linoshi, what do you think?" Rez asked for Linoshi's opinion first.
He turned his head and looked at her with a gentle gaze.
Rez had already made up his mind.
If Linoshi didn't go, then he wouldn't go either.
What could be better than training with an Apprentice Angel?
"I... I have no objection..." Linoshi said in a small voice, her face red, sounding like the hum of a mosquito.
Her blush had reached the tips of her ears, and even her neck was stained with a layer of pink.
Her blue eyes were downcast, not daring to look at anyone, staring only at the tips of her toes.
"Alright, then it's settled." Rez nodded and agreed readily.
"Wait a second... You... what's going on with your power level?" Vegeta suddenly felt something was off. He gave Rez a deep look, his brow furrowing even tighter.
Rez was slightly startled and didn't react for a moment.
"Rez, why is your power level down to only 3,000!" Vegeta finally noticed Rez's power level reading, his voice filled with disbelief.
He had been focused on Linoshi just now; only after glancing at Rez did he discover this shocking change.
"Eh? Is that so?" Rez realized what was happening.
While training with Divine Power, it had gradually replaced his previous energy.
This resulted in a drop in Rez's numerical power level.
Of course, while the numerical value had dropped, Rez's actual strength had increased by an unknown number of times.
This was because Scouters cannot detect Divine Power.
"Maybe your Scouter is malfunctioning," Rez said, letting out a bit more energy.
He slightly stimulated the residual Saiyan energy in his body, and his aura instantly rose a bit.
"Prince Vegeta, Rez's power level is 10,000!" Raditz said in surprise, pressing the button on his Scouter from the side.
Vegeta noticed it too; Rez's power level had suddenly jumped from 3,000 to 10,000.
Was the Scouter really malfunctioning?
Dark lines slid down Vegeta's face.
At this moment, Vegeta felt like he was off to a bad start.
He hadn't even left Planet Vegeta yet, so how could the Scouter be malfunctioning already?
"You, come here!" Vegeta pointed at a Saiyan guard in the distance, his tone unfriendly.
The guard was patrolling near the spaceship. Hearing the Prince's summons, he hurriedly flew over.
He landed before Vegeta, bowed respectfully, and asked cautiously, "Your Highness, is something the matter?"
"Get me a new Scouter." Vegeta snorted, took off the Scouter from his eye, and gave it a light squeeze.
Crack!
A crisp sound of shattering rang out.
Vegeta's Scouter was crushed into tiny pieces right then and there. The fragments fell through his fingers and scattered across the ground.
Rez: "..."
Rez was momentarily speechless.
The guard was stunned for a second but quickly reacted, turning to fly toward the nearby supply warehouse.
A moment later, he returned with a new Scouter and handed it to Vegeta with both hands respectfully.
Vegeta took the Scouter, expertly placed it over his eye, and pressed the start button.
Beep beep!
After a few soft chirps, Vegeta re-checked the power levels of everyone present.
Rez: 10,000
Nappa: 2,000
Raditz: 500
Carnegie: 800
Kuri: 600
Baru: 700
Linoshi: 200
Seeing that there were no issues, Vegeta finally withdrew his gaze with satisfaction.
"Let's go, get on the ship!" He snorted, turned around, and strode toward the hatch of the spaceship.
His small figure dragged a long shadow in the sunlight, exuding an arrogance and determination that didn't match his age.
"Rez, after you." Nappa respectfully made a gesture of invitation and stepped aside to clear the way.
Rez didn't stand on ceremony and strode onto the spaceship.
The ship's hatch wasn't very spacious, and the internal corridors were slightly narrow. Soft lighting was embedded in the metal wall panels, illuminating the path ahead.
The air was filled with a faint metallic scent mixed with the unique smell of the ship's fuel.
However, after taking a few steps, Rez looked back and saw Linoshi still standing outside, staring blankly with her head down.
She stood outside the hatch, the sunlight shining from behind her, outlining her slender silhouette.
Her long black hair fluttered gently in the breeze; she looked like an exquisite sculpture, motionless.
Immediately, Rez turned back and walked over to take Linoshi's hand.
That hand was soft and slender, feeling cool to the touch, like fine jade.
"Ah?" Linoshi was startled, her body trembling slightly as she instinctively tried to pull her hand back.
She snapped her head up, her blue eyes full of panic. Her pretty face was already bright red, the blush spreading from her cheeks to the tips of her ears, even staining her neck a faint pink.
"Let's go, follow me," Rez said softly, his grip on her hand neither too loose nor too tight, just right.
"Um... okay," Linoshi replied softly, nodding slightly, finally giving up her struggle.
Rez held Linoshi's hand and led her onto the spaceship.
Linoshi seemed very nervous; her delicate hand trembled slightly, and her fingers were a bit cold.
Her face became even more flushed, as red as a ripe apple, making one want to take a bite.
Rez looked back at Linoshi again, increasingly feeling that this little angel was quite cute.
She clearly possessed such powerful strength and such a noble status, yet she was always so shy, so cautious, and so prone to blushing.
This contrast made Rez's heart soften inexplicably.
After boarding the spaceship, Rez led Linoshi directly to his room.
The room was located in the middle section of the ship, with simple numerical identification on the hatch.
Rez pressed the open button, and the hatch slid open silently to both sides.
Seeing the room's layout and size, Rez put his hand to his forehead.
It really was a single room!
This room was way too small!
How small was it?
It was only about half the size of a soft-sleeper compartment on a train.
A bed, estimated to be only 90 centimeters wide, was pressed against the bulkhead. It was covered with a simple white sheet, and the pillow was flat, looking like it had no elasticity.
Beside the bed was a small table equipped with a few bottles of water and some compressed food, with the Frieza Force logo printed on the packaging.
There was also a small transparent window.
Other than that, there was nothing else.
No wardrobe, no extra space to move around.
With two people standing inside, even turning around was difficult.
This reminded Rez of scenes from riding trains in his past life.
He had transmigrated as a Saiyan and was embarking on interstellar travel, yet he was still staying in such a tiny compartment.
Who would believe it if he told them?
