A sudden cough interrupted our talk. And then an incredibly angry sounding woman said, "I hear you're a father now Rokuza.".
I didn't even have a chance to respond before being sent flying across the field away from the Lulled Sea. Grabbing my jaw I shivered a little and asked, "Can you at least let me explain before throwing punches?".
She stepped into the moonlight and my breathing hitched. I don't know how it was possible but she got even more beautiful while I was gone. Her long brown hair now had streaks of red mixed into it and her burgundy eyes were as piercing as ever. I blurted out, "You're beautiful.".
Blushing for a split second she hesitated before asking, "Who's the mother?".
"Are you talking about Priscilla? I don't know who her mother is and she's already twelve.", I quickly answered.
She grunted out, "Clench your teeth.".
Still the same as ever. I clenched as she rushed forward but before she made contact lightning struck between us sending me flying even further away. I yelled, "What a nice reunion this is! Josento why did you have to hit me with your tonfa!".
Not noticing because of the explosion Mina had hit his other tonfa creating a massive crater in the ground. I asked, "Mina, are you trying to kill me?".
She eerily answered, "Nope, just trying to teach you a lesson but if you die, so be it.".
Noticing Mako running straight at her I yelled, "Behind you!".
Mina turned barely blocking with her gauntlets but still ended up landing next to me. Mina asked, "Who is she?".
I'm definitely going to die. I answered, "Mako helped when Priscilla lost control two years ago and took my arm.".
I lifted my sleeve from under my cloak and waved it around. She looked horrified and asked, "How did that tiny little girl do this?".
I proudly answered, "Because she's my daughter. And probably because her ability turns her into a dragon that shoots lasers.".
Mina just facepalmed before asking, "How do we stop Mako?".
I dryly laughed, "Get the rest of the old crew. She's about to activate her abilities secret mode.".
Less than a second later Priscilla came over the hill followed by Takino, Yukiko, Arrion, Fumiko and Emelia. I said, "Long time no see.".
Arrion said, "I see you still bring trouble wherever you go.".
Fumiko was laughing hysterically for some reason. The other three were focused on Mako. I said, "Priscilla, go half dragon. Everyone else, we're gonna have to hold her off for an hour. When her eyes open she'll be immune to all damage for an hour.".
I drew my sword as I felt the temperature fluctuate between extremely hot and extremely cold. Arrion and Fumiko covered themselves in highly detailed elemental armor. Takino turned invisible and Yukiko turned into Priscilla's half dragon form. Emelia pulled out metal rods letting on hover above her finger making it spin pulling in the air around her. Josento threw his hand into the air shooting lighting into a single spot.
Everyone finished their preparations when Mako finally opened her eyes which were now glowing red. She started foaming at the mouth before letting out a roar that sent a shockwave towards us. Mina slid into the front of the group and threw a single punch stopping the wave in its tracks. Prisclla was already charging her breath alongside Yukiko. That's new.
Both of them released simultaneously lighting up the night. Erasing everything in its path it was split in two in one strike by Mako leaving everyone stunned. Priscilla asked, "How are we supposed to hold her off? She's a lot madder and stronger than usual.".
I don't have an answer for this. She's a hundred times stronger than when we first met and she one shot a dragon back then. I ran towards her using everything I had aimed at the back of her leg. And it did nothing. Returning to my original position the aftershock hit all of us making us take a couple steps back. Fumiko and Arrion stepped towards her, creating thousands of weapons in the air. Arrion also made his armor thicker before rushing in with his battle-axe. Swinging down towards Mako's shoulder she didn't even flinch even when the other weapons started falling faster than I remembered.
Looking back Emelia looked a little strained and suddenly yelled, "MOVE!".
Arrion launched himself into the air with a pillar. Emelia let the metal rod fly like it came falling from the stratosphere. At the moment it made contact Josento slammed his hand down towards the ground bringing the largest bolt of lighting I've ever seen crashing towards Mako. They made contact at the same time creating an explosion that if you weren't present would make it seem like the world was ending. Before the smoke could clear Fumiko threw what looked like a ball of lava at her.
Swinging my sword I cleared the smoke and as I suspected Mako was unharmed. I suddenly realized that Takino hasn't shown up yet. And on queue she was trotting over the hill followed by the second strongest man in the Foract. Saikeya was calmly walking towards the devastation we created and took one look at Mako and she dropped unconscious. I said, "Thanks Takino. Good to see you again Saikeya.".
He walked to me and just put his hand on my head saying, "Glad to see you well. Izett sent a letter a long time ago saying you caused a lot of trouble in Ventess.".
I sighed, "Things got out of hand because of Tilly and her charm ability. I finished the tasks Izett gave me and left.".
Saikeya nodded and said, "I'll clear out the Lulled Sea and we can celebrate your return.".
Before he turned around he said, "I remember you having two arms.".
I laughed a little and said, "You can thank my daughter.".
I pointed at Priscilla and she turned away quickly giving me a dirty look. I asked, "Emelia, can you carry Mako?".
She shyly answered, "Yes.".
She walked closer and whispered, "I really missed you. Nothing's been the same since you left.".
I smiled and said, "I missed you all too.".
