Side Chapter: Clone Testing (I).
"Ahem... ahem!" I cleared my throat as dramatically as I could before placing a few sheets of paper on top of a flat rock.
"Today, we'll be properly testing my clone's abilities." I pointed toward Celestia, who was already sitting neatly beside the rock. "And our official recorder will be Celestia."
I glanced at her.
"You can write, right?"
She nodded politely.
"Yes, I can."
"Perfect." I gave Una a thumbs-up. "You're my first successful clone, so let's do this properly. There's no official documentation of how the clones acted or the limits of what they can do inside the scroll so we'll have our own data gathering today."
Una stood opposite me with her hands on her hips, "I feel honored."
Celestia quietly dipped her brush into ink and wrote the title across the paper.
Experiment #1: Can the clone summon the original's familiar?
Una read the title over my shoulder before nodding thoughtfully.
