Everyone in the room seemed to freeze. For a moment, no one said anything.
My cousin was the first to break the silence. Her eyes sparkled as she listened to the story through John's spell.
"A little girl with a three-headed dog... that's so cool."
John tilted his head, thinking it through with a more logical expression. "A girl with a three-headed dog? I've never heard of anything like that. Maybe Xiao Lu shifu saw something else. Three direwolves, perhaps? Or maybe she was mistaken because of the chaos."
I almost let out a sigh of relief, but then I noticed Celestia.
She had gone completely still.
"..."
She said nothing at all, just stared at me with a quiet, unreadable expression.
And then it hit me. I had never told her the whole story. I had been too busy running around in my own world, acting like nothing had happened, promising that I would explain later...
...but I never really did.
