(Jemin's POV)
Soon, the time of departure came.
But everyone can feel the tense atmosphere. Even the faces of those elders looked grim.
"Hey! What do you think? Will the elders play any tricks on us in our way?"
Kyle lightly shook Sheea with his shoulder. In return, he received a zip closing sign from her.
Even though Kyle and Sheea has an extraordinary relationship, I can feel she's more anxious than anyone else. And I also know, it's partly because we're not telling her the whole story on who wants that crystal, Tana.
But what am I supposed to do? She may appear detached from the world, but she's too weak to the advances of the Shans. Especially when someone acts weak and cute with her. She can be easily manipulated. And a part of her is just like us… Love deprived.
"Kyle, Come here."
Still with a stone heart, I called Kyle over as I entered the cave with others and the leaders.
But as soon as Kyle left her side, she was immediately surrounded by all the Shashas. Damn this prior departure meeting!
Luckily, I caught a glimpse of my mom heading towards her direction.

Inside the cave
As soon as I took my seat, the first elder started, "Jemin, Len, you two have always been responsible for the trades. And no doubt, you are great at that. But, remember this time it's different."
"Yes, It's different now. Remember salt isn't our first priority. It's Tana. We want Tana no matter what. If needed, you can cancel the salt trade," Another elder spoke.
And seriously, I was shocked with the last sentence. Cancel the salt trade? All for Tana?!
"This—"
Len started to say something but with one look from our Wolf father king, he stopped.
We know that look. It's used to keep our mouths shut.
"Len, what reckless behaviour you've got there! Remember not to hamper our Tribe's future with that recklessness." The Second elder said with a smile but that didn't reach his eyes, "Jemin, watch your brothers, Hmm."
"Yes, Second Elder."
"Okay, Okay! Now go! Go! Go! Leave early and come back with Tana soon!"
We saluted all the leaders and elders as we turned with our respective teams.
"Wait!"
Suddenly, someone called back. We turned to the voice source. It's Ethan.
He hinted his underlying, who bought a box in his hand.
" Give it to Sheea. And take care of her in the way. Don't let her suffer."
Len and Kyle both growled and I could feel Kevi was suppressing the growl just like me.
With a nod, we left the scene.

"Kyle, what's wrong?"
The moment we came out of the cave, Sheea went running towards Kyle who still hadn't masked his dislike towards Ethan.
And like he was, he started to act coy with her. Seeing this, both Kevi and Len joined.
I went to mom and hugged her.
" Take care of yourself and her. If your brothers make her suffer, just abandon them in the middle." She told me and for a moment, I really considered abandoning them in the middle.
They are too clingy.
"Let's go now." I ordered and as soon as Sheea got close, I grabbed her hand and started walking.
But fate has another plan.
That cunning grey wolf transformed and successfully grabbed Sheea's attention. And in a breath moment, she's on top of him.
Like seriously! You all have been hugging her for so long. Can't I even hold her hands?!
Well, playing dirty… huh?
So I also transformed and copied Kyle's antics. I made the most innocent face with cute eyes as much as possible and nuzzled Sheea's calf leg with my nose.
[Sheea, can you spend a little bit of time with me? You've been with others since morning.]

Sheea tried to say something as she was genuinely confused and bit her lips in hesitation. But well, I'm stubborn this time. I want my mate's attention.
Let's copy Kyle's antics for the second round. If not, just take mom's advice and dumb him in the middle of nowhere .

I even bent my back a little to make myself look a little lonely.

I shouted.
But as soon as I finished, I heard both Len and Kyle's laughter while Sheea was looking at me with amusement and trying to guard her laughter.
BUT HER TEETH WAS SHOWING IN BETWEEN HER FINGERS!!!!
"KEVIIIII! YOU'RE DEAD!"

Hey Stars, it's been a year. How are you all?
I'm really sorry that I didn't update the story for so long. And I didn't even realize it's already been more than a year. Well, I can't promise that I'll update daily as I'm both cope up with my studies and completing my agriculture course (where I've to go villages to note datas).
And mean time, I'm editting the story that has glitched. And some paragraphs got mixed and became one.
