The Resting Root Spirit Oak sapling shyly twirled one of its supple branches before awkwardly waving it toward the Green Flame Tree after the introduction.
The Green Flame Tree responded by sending over a slender thread of green flames that wrapped snugly around the sapling like a warm blanket. Only this blanket, on top of being the warmest and most comfortable one in the world, also possessed nurturing properties that were just as otherworldly.
Within a single breath of those flames embracing its body, the Resting Root Spirit Oak sapling grew from the size of Yang Qing's palm to the height of a bramble bush.
It wasn't only its height that changed. Even its leaves shone with greater radiance.
