Days passed within Gorris.At least… Nicole believed they did. Jasper knew how Gorris operated, it was a endless cycle of darkness each day.
Time moved strangely there, distorted beneath endless gray skies and a kingdom untouched by warmth. Morning and night blurred together until she could barely tell them apart anymore. The sun rarely appeared above the towering black structures surrounding the manor, and when it did, it felt weak as though even light itself struggled to survive in Gorris.
Everything about the kingdom felt eerie.
Nicole stood near the tall window of their temporary chambers, staring down at the streets below. Vampires moved through the city quietly, elegantly, like shadows gliding over stone. No laughter drifted upward. No warmth. No life.
Only stillness.
Her fingers tightened slightly around the fabric of her sleeves.
"I hate this place,it's nothing like snow.." she admitted quietly.
