Chapter 105 - The Integration

[Verni]

I want the Silver Fang Villagers to live in the core dungeon when they are ready. It may take a while since they some are praying, celebrating or gathering supplies.

The first thing we are gonna do is use Emperio's skill, [Sky's Roar].

[Sky's Roar: Accompany

Transports the user along with the user to another location

MP: 15,000]

[Sky's Roar: Sender

Transports the target in contact with the sky's mark to the location of the secondary sky's mark

MP: 10,000]

When the villagers hold hands together, after touching Emperio, they will get sent to the Dungeon core. The sky's mark is a magic circle mark casted by Emperio. He can cast it on walls, ground as long as it won't get erased. Usually, he casts it on his weapon so he can send his target to a location.

This skill also has an ability where Emperio can send his target to a random location if he doesn't intend to send it on a specific location. He doesn't even know where the Saint Guardians he sent ended up.

Right now, we are going to start the Silver Fang-Dungeon Core settlement integration plan.

They are glad since the resources were present such as the logs from Tertharus. These special Therg woods are very durable, resistant from wearing. The durability can compete against steel yet light as a wood.

The purple endion ores from the Galkobin domain were even stronger. It is high on the list in terms of durability.

The villagers were glad to use them for reinforcement in their construction of this new village.

The silver village plans to merge with the clone city. They will build their area on the western side. I have my clones take down my stone houses first because they don't look proper and I'm embarassed of it.

Right now, they will make a proper settlement with good-looking houses.

Also, the carpenters were assisted by my clones so they can build their houses as large as they want. We also have too many spaces. Construction is steady with the help of 10,000 of my clones who won't get tired.

One of the manager for the construction team was Mcdelver, I heard he was a spy at Varlin's camp and helped Ren and Minnerva a lot. I didn't think he was also good with carpentry. He takes a break after noticing me and comes to me. "Hey my lord, hehe. Thanks for the body double of yours. I barely did anything, hahaha!"

"No problem, just tell me if you need more of them."

Mcdelver's eyes widen after hearing me. "Yo-you serious? No, they're even more than what I need. As expected, you're quite something."

Someone hits Mcdelver from behind. "Ouch." He responds.

It's Minnerva. She looks annoyed with the old man. "Old man, why are you talking with the Eastern Overlord casually?"

Mcdelver sighs, "come on, don't be so stiff. Even our lord doesn't mind. Well, then time to go back to work." He walks off towards the construction site.

Minnerva sighs in irritation. "Tsk, that old man."

"Forgive me about that my lord. I hope he didn't say anything disrespectful." Minnerva has been walking around the clone city, checking the progress of our construction.

I chuckle, "well, I don't mind. How's work?"

Looking at her, she seems baffled but also excited. "How? Well, we probably can finish a city just by a week. Your clones are impressive my lord. They work fast and efficient."

What can I say? I'm glad that I have such an ability. I used to regret having this clone system, but thinking about it, I probably the luckiest one among the class.

I walk with Minnerva to the make shift cafeteria where food gets served. It's only a small stand and the tables are found on an open area. The villagers are busy eating like there is no tomorrow.

Melina is cooking for every villagers here. Some of the women and Essential Clones who are interested in cooking also helped her.

We cooked the meat that we caught from different domains. Each were various meat with different flavors. Melina is having a hard time trying to remember the taste. She tests each meats and ingredient, and see how they fare well as a menu.

I take one table to eat. Vermil and Ren agrees to share table with me. As for Levia she just stands on my side.

I motion the chair for Levia. "Levia, you may take a seat. I don't feel comfortable seeing you just watching there."

"No need my lord, a servant have no right to eat with her lord--" I grab her and force her to sit down besides Vermil who is gulping down her food. "Whatever Levia, I just can't stand it."

She looks down looking shy and nods.

I sigh. I'm kinda tired how everyone treats me like someone who is very important.

At least, I have Ren here who treats me like equal. When I begin to eat, I can't help but smile since the flavor explodes in my tongue.

How long was it since I ate a properly cooked food.

Ren says, "for some reason, I feel like I can muster more energy after eating this meal. Not figuratively."

"Me too, my legs feels so excited to move." Vermil adds.

Levia says, "you guys don't notice it? The food is brimming with energy."

Brimming with energy?

Now that she mentions it, I notice I'm gaining EXP albeit too insignificant for my level while eating this meal.

[+100 XP]

What the hell is this?

[Answer. The food was cooked under the enchanted pan made from the purple endion ore which gives the passive skill to quantify the foods of the beast.]

Seriously?

Not only that, eating this full plate of Thervil Fish Beast Meat causes me to gain +4 stat of Agility but I can't see it since its maxed.

I try to use my [Scan] skill on my friends on the table. I notice they are gaining EXP and stats while they are eating but it's too insignificant since we are above level 400.

I can see it more clearly among the villagers. Some of them are even levelling up while they are having their meals. Such as Minnerva.

[Minnerva

Level 30]

[Minnerva has levelled up to level 31]

My screen is full of EXP notification in the cafeteria. Every one or two seconds someone is levelling up.

The villagers from the Silver Village were kinda weak. Their levels are around 25 to 50. I will plan a diet for them so they can also increase their stats on a balanced manner until they hit their maximum.

For example, monsters that are very agile increases ones agility. The logic follows for the other stats such as strength, wisdom, mind and tolerance.

I notice the villagers can't help but ask a refill 4 to 5 times. They must really loved the meat especially Melina's cooking, but she passed out in the middle of work to our surprise.

I quickly attend to her and let her drink a potion made by my clones, [Potion of Stamina]. This will let her forget her physical and mental fatigue.

Melina apologizes to me. "I'm sorry my lord, I can't believe I almost passed out. I think I deserve a punishment."

"No you musn't. In fact, I think I should be the one who should apologize. You can rest if you want."

Melina is pumped now. "Thanks to the drink, I feel like I can cook for 3 days straight without rest."

"Uh... just don't push yourself."

I sigh, I'm feeling worried for them since they are probably exerting themselves more than they can handle.

I transported the Silver Fang Temple to the center of the clone city, using Emperio's ability by removing it from the ground. The temple although small is my palace and it is where I work. I feel comfortable sitting on the golden chair that Varlin made.

Varlin has a good taste for chairs. Especially, the cushion is made from tiny cottons coated with golden threads.

Ren enters the temple and treads to my side. "Verni, when will her messenger come?"

"Probably, 2 weeks from now."

"Do you have any idea where she is?"

"No clue."

Ren is silently thinking.

When we are in the temple we avoid talking about unnecessary stuff and focus on our job. "If you insisted that you will send someone to acquire the documents, it would have been here a long time ago."

"That's what I thought but she insisted on having her messenger to come here."

Ren sighs, "and you allowed her?"

I smile faintly, "yup."

"What were you thinking? It's obvious that she wants to gather information from you."

"Even if she does, she'll never find this place. Besides, I want someone who grew up from the overworld to visit this place. Also, I want to earn the trust of the guild master and I want to know more about her."

"Don't tell me, you're into her just from the conversation?"

I can't help but chuckle. "No way, I just feel like she will be useful for me in the future since for someone in her position, she must have a lot of information."

Ren then coughs as though trying to change topic. "Ahem, didn't we forget something important?"

"Important?"

Ren nods while somewhat shy.

What does she mean by important, I'm thinking about it. "Oh, you mean my plan to conquer other dungeons? My clones are working on it."

"Not that dummy, I mean rum, or ale is fine."

"Alcohol, huh? Yeah, I'll think about it." I'm not really a drinker even from the modern world. I don't understand what the hype is all about. I think there is even a demand on the village for it.

"I think my advice will be twice as effective advice if I had one. Hahaha." Ren says proudly.

I sigh, "yeah, yeah just say you want one so badly, you don't need to lie."

Later, I called for Vermil. I have something to show to her. Right now, I'm behind the temple and Vermil approaches me.

"Brother, what's wrong?"

I smile proudly as I introduce to her Vera, her little sister. She is a little girl around the age of 9. She is small, cute and loveable. She has a short silky hair that reaches her shoulders.

[Name: Vera

She is what remains of the Valkeryun's Essence and I injected it into her. Right now, she is rubbing her eyes as she gains consciousness.

Vermil is glad. She is always happy but I never saw her being this happy as before. She grabs Vera on her waist and lifts her. She then rubs her face on her cheek. "She is soooo cute!"

I see, if she's Vermil's little sister then she is also my sister, huh?

I pat her head and I notice she looks annoyed. "My lord, being the greatest dragon in this world. I prefer not to be patted like a child."

I see, so she got Valkeryun's personality, huh? I sigh in dismay. Looks like she's only cute on the outside but inside rests a prideful beasts.

However, I wonder why she only allows Vermil to spoil her.

Vermil at some point puts her down. "Vera, I'm gonna bring you something. Make sure to wait with your brother."

"Yes." She says adorably.

When Vera and I are alone, it seems Valkeryun's personality takes over since her eyes changed. She opens her palms and materializes a dark energy ball, as though testing her power. "Looks like you gave me a body, huh? Another life. But I won't thank you."

Compared to other Generals, this one has a harder personality.

"You're quite odd compared to the other general monsters."

"Well, I wasn't happy when Sagus imprisoned me and I was always looking ways to defy him. I'm Valkeryun, one of the greatest dragon, you know."

Even if she is tough, I'm glad Vera retained her personality. It seems part of her charm.

"If you have no intention in staying here, I can set you free. You're free to do anything as you wish."

Vera sighs, looking at her tiny figure. "With this body? I can no longer achieve my dreams of conquering Groundwell being a little human girl. Besides, you don't demand much like Sagus so I might stick for a while."

I smile seeing she wants to stay. In fact, looking at her closer, I can't help but lift her and spin while laughing. "Taking a closer look at you, you're veryyy cute!"

Vera is blushing since she is obviously annoyed from what I'm doing. "Hey!" Her little legs tries to kick me.

Vermil comes running to my side. "Brother, it's my turn to play with her."
