Jinhee laid in her bed, staring at the ceiling. "Huh."

It was odd.
Her intuition was telling her...
"...I think Oppa did something right for once?"
Usually, her intuition warned her when Oppa was doing something wrong.
But today- No, right now, Jinhee had the vague sense that her Oppa was doing something RIGHT for once.
It wasn't WARNING Jinhee. Instead, it was letting her know that things were working out.
"Weird feeling."
Definitely a weird feeling.
"...Hm." Jinhee hopped onto her feet and started pacing, trying to process the weird feeling. "This is... similar to when Oppa came back?"
That was definitely the closest that she could describe it.
The relief. The disbelief, but in a good way. The sense of things coming together cleanly and the worst case scenario being avoided...
"Wait. I could just ask him."
Jinhee pulled out her phone... or rather, the thing that LOOKED like a phone.
Honestly, jury was still out on what this place even WAS.
But anyway, she pulled it out and called Jihu.
One ring.
Two.
Three...
*Sorry, Jinhee. I'll call you right back. Just had some ridiculous news, so need to make more calls.*
Before Jinhee could even get a word edgewise, the call ended.
"...Ridiculous news?"
Thoughts started clicking in Jinhee's head. Suspicions, doubts, vague hints...
The fact that Hannah had been eating weird things recently. Her being extraordinarily close to Jihu. The fact that she was here when Flone Unni wasn't...
"Oh my god." Jinhee gasped. "IS HANNAH UNNI PREGNANT?!"
Did Oppa hear her?
The moment she said that out loud, her phone began to ring.
Jinhee immediately picked up when she saw it WAS her Oppa and said, "OPPA! HANNAH UNNI! PREGNANT YES OR NO!?"
Jihu was quiet for a solid three seconds. Then he groaned. "How the hell did you figure it out?"
Jinhee flopped on her bed. "Well you said you got ridiculous news!"
"I wasn't talking about that- Goddammit. Are you on the spectrum? Your brain connects dots in SUCH weird ways."
"Uh, excuse you! If anyone's on the spectrum, it's YOU Oppa."
Jihu let out a loud sigh. "Well, don't go spreading the news. I'll be there in a bit. I wanted to chat with you anyway."
"Sure, sure." Jinhee walked over to her fridge and pulled out a soda. "I'll just be here. Relaxing. Unwinding. Thinking about how I'll have a cute baby niece or nephew to spoil along with my already cute niece Rose... Speaking of which, were you or weren't you cheating on Seonhwa Unni five years ago?"
Because Oppa never DID answer that question. And from what she heard from Seunghae, it definitely wasn't Oppa's fault for that first breakup either...
"Rose is complicated. TLDR though, test tube baby and matured growth... kind of."
Jinhee blinked. Once. Twice. Then she said, "Oh my GOD. Is she like a magical familiar? Did your magical essences blend together to make her? Is she a virgin birth from Flone? Is that why she's so frustrated? You had a baby but didn't have sex?!"
"Jinhee. Please just- Actually. I'm hanging up."
"Wait, Oppa! You can't just-"
*click*
Jinhee huffed. "Of COURSE he would run away instead of answering."
But that choice to not answer was an answer in itself.
Jinhee cackled and said, "That explains soooo much about the ridiculous love polygon Oppa has."
Seonhwa was DEFINITELY first. But some complicated story happened there... apparently involving Seonhwa emotionally cheating at least on Oppa at the time.
That was Jinhee's guess. Seunghae looked pretty pissed off earlier after chatting with Seonhwa, so it was probably that. And Jinhee DID remember Oppa crashing out in the past about 'those fucking Yankees...'
But anyway, that aside.
Flone had first on the kid train despite not being the first to legally marry Oppa. That meant she was top dog. And Oppa clearly adored her the most.
Jinhee personally thought they were a perfect match. Flone Unni was definitely enough to fulfill Oppa's life.
But her Oppa was a greedy man-
Actually, no. It's not that he was greedy, but that he just couldn't bear to turn down a girl's feeling.
Honestly, it made him kinda the worst type of guy since it made things ambiguous on where everyone stood... And when there were certain girls who were clearly UNAMBIGUOUS where they stood in Oppa's heart, the others got upset.
Like Claire Unni had been for a bit.
Actually, Jinhee STILL didn't know what she was to Oppa. Was she like, just a friend with benefits? An actual coworker? A work wife?
"...I should start making a spreadsheet. Actually... let's do that."
There was a PC in the room. And Oppa CLEARLY was going to take a while getting here.
So...
"Yep. Plan set."
Jinhee hopped into the nearby gaming chair and slid over to her PC desktop. After turning it on, she started writing up notes on Oppa and his women.
