Truthfully, Black Pepper City was a very nice place, the kind that makes you want to walk slower just to take more of it in. There were a lot of interesting things to see and do. Our group went on to try different local delicacies and snacks offered along the city streets.
They were neither sophisticated nor extravagant but they gave me a sense of the islands' culture. Not that I've been through a lot of similar places. In fact, this was the first ever city that I have explored. I really should gone out more. Sad life. Sigh.
There were also a lot of little trinkets and traditional handicrafts that were displayed on the shops. Most of it would have been considered precious antiques back on Earth. Which was expected given the differences in timelines. I marveled at the craftsmen's delicate handiworks.
