Third-person POV
At precisely 8 a.m., the atmosphere in a secluded corner of the Japanese detention facility simmered with quiet anticipation. Inside the guarded mess hall, the MPC agents, making sure that the food they cooked and served at the JSDF headquarters are the same for these agents, laid out the hot food on a long, wooden table. When they saw the food being served, the agents of the Big Three were affronted.
"Kain na!" James chirped.
"Eat up, my friends." Barış's eyes glinted as his tone was laced to sound like mockery at their pride.
When they finally sat down, some of the Triad Powers agents looked at the food available as if it was a time bomb. "Come, pick what you want," Armando said to them while leaning against a wall with a light smirk. "You'll have interrogations for the next few days."
"I am not eating those," said one of the CIA agents, Ramirez, while shaking his head fiercely.
"These looked cheap," one MSS agent named Chen added with a sneer.
Because they wouldn't comply, the temperature in the mess hall dropped to 7 degrees below zero as the MPC agents picked some food and made them eat the food. James shoved a forkful of Pancit Canton into Ramirez's mouth. "Kain na! Don't be picky!"
Barış tore a piece of freshly baked Simit bread and shoved one half into Chen's mouth. "Eat this. The seeds on the bread were fresh from Turkey, better than the fake food back in China."
Matias, meanwhile, shoved a spoonful of Shaksuka into the mouth of an SVR agent, Dmitry. "Eat this before it gets cold, amigo. At least you guys don't need to eat Japan's healthy prison food."
Other MPC agents like Odesa and captains like Rhea were recording this "hospitality" for the captured agents while snickering.
"I know they expected high-end food," Odesa commented while laughing.
"Yeah, Mrs. Quezon," another MPC agent from Italy replied, "at least some of them began to like my Maritozzo buns and your country's 3-in-1 coffee…"
It was an act of Filipino-style hospitality, but sprinkled with flavors from Indonesia, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Spain, Greece, and Brazil.
