LUO YAN paced back and forth across the entertainment room floor. He couldn't sit still. His mind kept returning to the study. He had no idea what was being said in there, and that was what bothered him the most. Was his father being unreasonable? Did Shen Ji Yun manage to explain himself well? He trusted Shen Ji Yun, and he trusted his father. He knew his father wouldn't be unnecesasry cruel, and that Shen Ji Yun could handle himself. Despite this, he still could not help but worry and wonder.
He wanted to be in that room, not stuck out here, waiting. But he didn't have a choice. His father said that having him there might change the course of the conversation and influence his opinion. Luo Yan understood that, at least in some way. However, this did not mean that he had to like it. Not that he could do anything about it, of course. Because as much as he didn't want to admit it, his father was probably right. So he just kept pacing.
