Naruto: The Crimson Flash

ItzDawn
An adult man is reincarnated into the Naruto universe as Yamato, a talented young Genin. Unfortunately for him, Root is actively trying to eliminate him. He only survives the initial attempt thanks to the original Yamato's extreme caution. Knowing that staying in the Hidden Leaf is too dangerous, and that Root will inevitably send more assassins, he makes the drastic decision to defect. Even though Konoha was supposed to guarantee his safety, he chose the path of a rogue ninja. This story explores the harsh consequences of that choice... and how he comes to regret it. Author's Note & Warnings The Power Dynamic: The MC does not inherit the original Yamato’s genius talent. He only possesses "musical memory," which applies to a few specific Jutsu. To survive and gain real power, he will have to work incredibly hard. No Harem: I repeat, no harem. (There will likely be no romance at all. Dark Themes: There will be killing. Lots of it. The Beginning: I am not the best at writing introductions, so the first few chapters might feel a bit rough. Character Focus: This story is heavily centered on the Main Character. Side characters won't get much spotlight, though that might change occasionally. No Boruto: I haven't read Boruto (and don't plan to), so that plotline will not be factored into this story. What to Expect: A smart, calculating MC. Heavy focus on training and development. The MC is operating as an assassin. Almost every arc is entirely original. Because the story takes place outside the main events of the anime, the canon Naruto plot won't change much (at least until Shippuden). Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or its characters (except for the original characters I create). P.S. This is my first fanfic, and I'm hoping it turns out well! All reviews and constructive criticism are welcome.

[MCU x HP] Reborn as Hermione: Spamming the Killing Curse!

Waking up in a new body is disorienting. Waking up as Hermione Granger—the brightest witch of her age—is a surprise. But realizing you aren't in Hogwarts, but standing in the middle of Tony Stark's New York? Complete panic. Fortunately, "Hermione" isn't empty-handed. Bound to a mysterious Grimoire that allows her to jump between the Wizarding World and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she realizes one absolute truth: playing the good girl is for losers. Why bother with complex science and superhero morals when the Unforgivable Curses exist? Avada Kedavra solves 99% of her problems. For the remaining 1%, there's Imperio. Tony Stark: "J.A.R.V.I.S., it's time to design the Anti-Wizard Armor." Hermione: (smirks) "You mean the scrap metal that breaks the second you put it on?" Hulk: "HULK SMASH!" Hermione: (raises wand) "Shut it, green guy, or I'll cast Expelliarmus on your pants!" The Ancient One: "You are an anomaly. A sorcerer who does not belong on this timeline..." Hermione: "Let me correct you, baldy. I am a Wizard." Nick Fury: (eye twitching) "Where exactly are you from?" Hermione: (adjusts robes innocently) "Me? I'm just a simple exchange student from Hogwarts." Armed with unparalleled acting skills, a ruthless inner demon, and a wand that flashes green way too often, the MCU is about to learn why you never mess with a Dark Witch in sheep's clothing. [Features] World Hopping: Seamlessly travel between HP & MCU! Two-Faced MC: Innocent schoolgirl on the outside, ruthless Dark Lord on the inside. Magic vs. Tech: Watch science try (and fail) to explain Unforgivable Curses. Elite Banter: Sarcastic, unapologetic, and totally overpowered.
