DOROTHEOU – Season 1: The Prince With No Past Chapter 1 – Synopsis A young boy awakens alone in the ancient Whispering Forest, wounded, confused, and without any memory—not even his own name. His only sign of identity is a strange, glowing symbol on his chest: a roaring silver lion surrounded by stars. The forest itself seems to whisper to him, calling him “heir of light,” but he recognizes none. Moments later, he encounters Lira Aerendyl, a goblin hunter who mistakes him for a threat trespassing on sacred land. Suspicious but compelled to help, Lira takes him into the forest after undead soldiers—marked with abyssal sigils—suddenly appear and attack. Trapped, the boy unleashes a dazzling, sun-like spell that instantly kills the undead, surprising them both. As they journeyed toward Lira's village, the Whispering Woods responded strangely to the boy: its runes greeted him, its currents cleansed him rather than burned him, and even the elves—whose intent was to expose the corruption—let him pass unharmed. His fragmented visions revealed glimpses of a burning kingdom, a falling crown, and a woman calling his name. Eventually, a memory returned: her name was Yuehan. Soon, her crest revealed a deeper mystery. Lira recognized it as the lost royal emblem of Dorotheou, a legendary kingdom that had vanished one night before. No one survived. No one returned. Its disappearance remains the world's greatest unsolved tragedy. With Yuehan at the Verdant Gate, she was brought before the Elven Council. When his crest is tested, the ancient runes glow with recognition—proving that the mark is genuine. While the elders fear the danger he may pose, they cannot deny that Yuehan is the bearer of Dorotheou’s lost lineage.
