Cupid's Devilish Side (BL)

lovagewisteria
Psyche, the youngest son of Capital City’s greatest conglomerate, belonging to the Demetriou family, was cursed with the life of an F-Rank Hunter with an S-Rank ability. Meaning, a really useful skill but no means to protect himself from harm. He had sworn to himself that he would make a lot of money and leave the tower, see the outside world, and live a single life forever. No woman would distract him from his goal. “I will never fall in love. Never.” Looking for a way to avoid his family treating him like livestock to milk off of his ability, he follows the only way he knew to finally be freed: Climbing the Infinity Tower. However, the journey soon proves to Psyche that he has eaten more than he can chew. Especially when the System seems hell-bent on pairing him up with a complete stranger who keeps showing up every time he is in danger. As such, he ends up accepting the quest given to him in exchange for finally escaping. "You need to keep in mind that while you serve his majesty, you aren't allowed to peek under his mask at night. Nor can you see him during the day, understood?"  “Then, what exactly is my job?” “You need to make sure his highness never leaves the room at night.” “W-What?” “The young master isn't to be left out of his room at night. No matter what. Do you understand?” Sigh. If only it were that simple for a mere human to keep an ancient god with a bad attitude grounded in his room.  — *This is a (very gay) tower-world retelling of the Greek myth "Cupid and Psyche". In no way does it pretend to be taken as a faithful source of culture or religion, nor does it intend to disparage them. It was simply inspired by the myth. *This isn't a fanfic. *The cover art does not belong to me and will be removed upon request. *Enjoy \(*u*)/

I'M NOT THE NAMELESS ONE

For longer than he can remember, Ifrit has wandered through countless timelines, shattered realities, and impossible universes. He has witnessed the rise and fall of gods. He has watched civilizations burn, be reborn, and vanish without a trace. He has buried friends whose names even history forgot. He has seen lovers swear eternal devotion, only to become passing memories in the endless flow of existence. At some point, he stopped counting his age. At some point, he stopped searching for answers. Yet one question continues to follow him across every reality: What am I? In a multiverse governed by timelines, concepts, divine laws, and the mysterious World Clock, there exists a forbidden truth hidden from gods and mortals alike. A truth so terrifying that entire pantheons erased themselves rather than remember it. The truth of The Nameless One. When ancient seals begin to break and forgotten timelines awaken, Ifrit finds himself at the center of a cosmic conflict older than existence itself. Gods fear him. Concepts reject him. Reality struggles to define him. Because Ifrit is the only being who exists across all realities without another version of himself. As the boundaries between universes collapse and the First War threatens to begin anew, Ifrit must uncover the secret buried within his own existence. But the closer he gets to the answer, the more horrifying the truth becomes. For Ifrit is not searching for the Nameless One. The Nameless One may be searching for him. And if he ever remembers the forgotten truth hidden beyond gods, beyond time, and beyond existence itself... Reality may be forced to decide what it truly is for the very first time. "I have crossed infinite worlds, buried countless memories, and outlived civilizations beyond number." "But after all this time..." "I still don't know what I am." I Left Being a Hero to Farm

Philantria. The world where the strongest rule over it. Non-stop battles everywhere.  Kingdoms taking over kingdoms. Bloodbath after bloodbath. War has defined this world. And the only man renowned as the Hero of Philantria, Crescentine Fleur, has been in these wars since he was 12. Now at 20. Eight years of fighting on the frontlines, where the people called him a Hero, Kings called him a weapon, and the soldiers called him a legend. It was tiring. Crescentine had lost the reason to be the Hero the people needed, if all he was ever required to do was kill. Then one day, he simply vanished. Not because he wanted to... But the rulers' betrayal has opened the doors for his disappearance. His armor and sword were left behind at the last battle between the 4 kingdoms and the empire. His hero insignia was on the ground, abandoned. As they rejoice the death of the so-called hero. Leaving them blind of the truth. Where did the hero go after? Why did he leave? And perhaps because of his absence, the kingdoms and the empire were pushed into a treaty, to stop the very battles that made their hero a weapon. Where did Crescentine Fleur go? ....Farming.  On the furthest edge of the Kingdom of Amlada. A small village the government had long neglected. Somewhere the rulers would never think to search. Crescentine Fleur was gone. And Leigh the farmer? Planting his first crops. While also using his hidden memories of a past life nobody knew... That's something no one would ever believe.
